I was back in my hometown visiting Schaumburg and went to my usual workout spot nearby, F45. While I was there, I noticed Club Pilates in the same shopping center and decided to check it out for something different. Right when I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff, which immediately made the studio feel welcoming. What stood out even more was that the instructor who was teaching that day came over and introduced herself before class when she overheard it was my first time there. That personal touch made a great first impression and helped me feel comfortable going into the class. The class itself was definitely challenging, but in a different way than what I'm used to. I normally do F45 and Solidcore, which tend to be higher energy and faster paced. Club Pilates felt more controlled and low-impact, but it still worked muscles in a really effective way. It was a great change of pace and a good reminder that slower, more intentional movements can still deliver a tough workout. Keep in mind that these classes fill up well in advance so you need to sign up. As a new visitor I was fortunate that a random spot opened up, but it seems the classes are always packed. Overall, it was a really positive experience. The studio was welcoming, the instructor was thoughtful and engaging, and the workout was both challenging and refreshing. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm visiting Schaumburg! read more

Classes are always full. People book well in advance and especially as a new member you're rarely able to use your membership.

Since coming here I have more strength and feel so much better. The instructors do such a great job of conducting classes that are challenging and geared towards the core and cardio strength. Everyone should do Pilates it's amazing! read more

I love this place!!! Everyone is super nice, greeting you with a smile the minute you walk in, from the manager Ali, Frank the owner and all of the wonderful instructors. The place is almost brand new, high quality reformers and all the workout equipment, very clean as well. Due to COVID, they downsized the classes, making sure the members are safe and keeping distance from each other while working out, they are also cleaning everything between our classes. Here's the whole scoop for anyone interested - The CP ad kept showing up in my social media feed for months. I've never done reformer Pilates, so all the equipment I saw in the ad intrigued me and looked like fun. However; this year I had finally gotten my chronic pain under control with chiropractic and massage and laying off what I used to love to do (weight lifting and many hours of tennis a week). So, I kept putting off calling the CP studio, basically out of fear of my pain coming back. Something was pulling me to try this, though. And my Chiro was urging me to do many core exercises that I was seeing when I researched what CP was all about. So I just jumped in. I have loved it so much. I am an unlimited member now and go about 5 times a week. I can feel myself getting stronger. There are so many movements I can do better and less pain in the short 2 months I've been going. It is truly helping my lower back/glute/hip flexor issues by strengthening them... slowly. I even felt stronger when I played tennis for the first time in months the other night. I have completed about 28 classes and am starting to sprinkle in some higher level classes to slowly move up! All the instructors are so knowledgeable, kind and motivating! Jess has been a huge help in getting me acclimated and helping get multiple friends signed up for classes to join in the fun! I truly look forward to going to the studio everyday for me time! I have been working out at club pilates for a year now. I had never done pilates before. I'm not what you would call an athletic woman. I love club pilates. I'm stronger, more balanced and have some great new friends. The workouts are for beginners, intermediate and advanced people. This depends on what class you choose. I have lost 50 lbs. in the last year and club pilates has helped me tremendously with reaching my goals. The studio is clean with the lastest pilates equipment. The instructors are helpful and challenge people while providing modifications to meet you where your at physically today. read more

Do not go here! Try Lifetime fitness Pilates instead. This group ropes you into a contract and then charges your credit card without authorization. Teachers are not high quality, you can not get into classes and staff/management does not know what they are doing and are very unprofessional. I realize this is a new business - maybe they will work out these issues in time or they won't make it because clients have options. read more

Back in September 2019, I decided to join Club Pilates, unlimited membership, after suffering sore hips and plantar fasciitis from Standing on my feet constantly with my occupation. I have done Mat pilates on and off for many years. Doing the reformers just a handful of times. When I joined it was during my off time but was excited and committed to staying on a schedule. Club Pilates offers: CLASSES- there are so many classes to choose from throughout the morning and evening you can always get in. They are prompt with their start and stop time. I've never had an issue getting in my number of class goals . INSTRUCTORS - I love the variety of the instructors. They all follow the Club Pilates training, but all have their own personal technique. Every class is different. I've been going there for almost a year and can not recall the same class twice. They are the best instructors I've worked with. STUDIO- the staff is so pleasant every time I arrive. They treat you like a member should be treated. The cleanliness was a big seller for me. They have their rules that they are strict about (taking shoes off upon entering studio, wiping down equipment after class, everything gets put back in its place) with this structure in place, the studio is always fresh and ready to go for the next class. I started with going to 3 classes a week to now going to 6 classes a week. My body never felt better. No more hip issues. No more plantar fasciitis. I've gained strength, defined muscles, leaner body, better posture, clearer mind, more relaxed, overall fantastic! Pilates to me is a mind, body and soul overall exercise and I love starting my morning with a class. I like to say Pilates people are "my kind of people"! If you are looking to join a pilates studio. Don't hesitate to try Club Pilates you won't be disappointed. It's disheartening to read the bad reviews on here, I personally haven't experienced any of them. read more

UPDATE: Owner tells me he can't find any record of me cancelling and that he will not refund the full amount. Laughs and says he will refund this months since I obviously will not be going. No remorse, no trying to make it right. Terrible, just terrible. Runs his business unethically. If you read their contract it literally says the only way out of the contract is if you are disabled or DIE. What a joke. They're so disorganized they didn't even put my cancellation into the system. It looks like other people have had this issue too by looking at the reviews. I would absolutely NOT sign that contract or even go to this studio until they learn how to treat people like human beings. Note: It also states that you can deliver your cancellation in person or via mail. Funny, I did in person. I would advise if anyone is going to cancel to mail, go in person AND ask for documentation. DO NOT GO HERE: EXPENSIVE AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I had signed up for this place back in June and did 3 months with them for a special they had. I cancelled in August and somehow it never went through. Now you might ask, "how did you not catch $200 charges for 6 months"? I was paying that credit card down and not keeping track until finally I took a look at all the charges and saw 6 $200 charges. They were STILL charging me!! I hadn't gone in SIX months!!! When I called to get it cleared up they were extremely rude and condescending to me, Jaclyn is her name. They just want your money and to charge you for every little thing. You cancel, they charge you. You cancel the membership, they continue to charge you anyway. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. This is NOT how you run a business. $1200 later...STAY AWAY FROM THIS NIGHTMARE OF A PLACE. read more

It took them over a MONTH to find a weekend intro class to try. I have two kids 2 and under and I only have time to go when I have help on the weekends. Finally they called me with a 1pm intro class time - I thought 'wonderful, I'll give it another try!' because I had loved the club Pilates in Lincoln Park when I moved from the city. GPS took me to shopping center one block over so I ended up walking in at 1:01pm and they wouldn't let me into class. After driving 30 minutes to get here this was extremely disappointing. What a great first (or maybe call it second) impression for a new customer. I can't review the actual Pilates classes but wow, I feel bad for the instructors who don't even get to teach because of the barriers with the administrative staff. I'll be finding another, customer friendly Pilates studio in the area. read more

I started Club Pilates Schaumburg July 1, 2018 after trying the introduction class. To be honest I wasn't sure if it would be challenging enough after my long history with crossfit and others. In the first week I was HOOKED! Pilates in general is a progression designed to challenge you at each level. They incorporate Pilates Reformer, TRX, Barre-type, Small weights, Mat, Springboard, Trigger-Point and Stretching. It was disheartening to read anything other than glowing reviews as my interactions with them have been nothing but stellar and I haven't been to a workout center that doesn't require a contractual commitment. I am highly recommending Club Pilates Schaumburg as a place to strengthen your core, mind and spirit! read more

Love the option of taking reformer Pilates classes for a fixed monthly price. Have been a member for over a month. Have loved every teacher. They are all different but each have their strengths. The people working the check in desk seem knowledgeable of all the different class offerings. They have a easy app to schedule classes. I love Club Pilates in Schaumburg! The instructors, owner, manager, and associates are informative and friendly. Before COVID, there were many levels and types of Pilates sessions. I enjoy when the instructors teach us more about our body and are always willing to assist with foot placement, remind you about correct breathing, and using your core. During a session, you might use a variety of tools from the reformer, the bar, the magic circle, and ball to name a few. The instructors are there to make sure you are completing the actions correctly and to provide adaptations when needed. During COVID, online zoom classes were offered which were the second best thing to being in the studio. Club Pilates often sent their members updates about instructors, studio re-opening, and guidelines.The studio is now open to a maximum of 6 participants (social distancing), temperature check, masks worn, sanitized equipment, and more. Currently, not all classes have resumed yet and there are a limited amount of Zoom classes. Club Pilates also have an array of clothing, socks, and Pilate tools that can be bought at their store. read more

I have been going to Club Pilates Schaumburg since they opened in January 2018. I love the atmosphere and they offer a variety of small classes that allow for individual attention and ensures that you're doing the exercises correctly. Besides the workout, I love the staff, helpful, knowledgeable and always willing to help. The instructors are equally amazing and each one offers a different experience for your workout. Update: In response to the owners comment, Your staff was fully aware of my injuries because I told them so when I'd call to cancel my class. In fact when I went in to sign my 30 day cancellation notice I made your employee aware that I was doing so because of my injuries and her response was that other gyms have the same policy...... Be aware that the contract they make you sign is designed to squeeze as much $ from you as possible even if they don't provide you with anything for the money they charge you. Club Pilates is very expensive, there are far too many options for far less and even more effective than this place. My experience is that at best you get some stretching benefits and at worst you may tweak your hip or back from the exercises and not be able to attend the very expensive classes for which you will pay for weather you can make it or not. I tried the 3 month trial and it seemed that after each class my back or hip really bothered me and I would not be able to make at least half of the classes I paid for. The bottom line is that there is no flexibility afforded to the customer if they are hurt and can't attend the pre paid classes ( I mean pre-paid because you have to pay monthly at the beginning of the month ). There is a 30 day cancelation requirement and when I went in to sign the cancelation request I let them know that I am injured and thats why I have to cancel. My argument was that I am not getting anything in return for the fee Im paying. The response was that " some gyms have the same policy ". I guess that makes this practice right. As another review put it, this place is unethical and very expensive. I don't believe that the Schaumburg community should support this establishment. read more

I love this studio. When i first started i was unsure i would like Pilates. I was really weak and out of shape, but since i started here, I've gained confidence, gotten stronger, and my body is slowly changing. There are numerous classes that are right sized for all levels. The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable and will modify all exercises to meet you where you are in your journey. They have lots of class times, to accommodate any busy schedule. But the biggest plus is that the front desk and instructors make you feel like family. The studio is super clean with loads of equipment. read more

I did an intro class with my friend just to try Pilates out for the first time. The class was fine. Nothing horrible ( the person leading the class kept checking her phone. It made her look uninterested) but thats not why I'm rating them 1 Star. It took forever to book and when I was unable to come in the days they had open ( which is very minimal for an intro class) I would get non stop texts about booking the appointments. Once I did do the class I told them in person I did not want to sign up for there membership program. ( this was all beginning of December) I had a few calls " if I had any questions about the program. " around the time of when I went. I thought the calls have stopped since I not once picked up the phone. Since last Thursday they have called me 6 times to talk about there membership. Not one called was picked up ( also called while I was working or I would've answered to tell them to stop calling me) finally just blocked the number. Obviously only want memberships. read more
