This is a great gym. Clean, 24/7 access, and plenty of equipment. The only "con" I would say is that there's not a lot of room by the weights. If you get three people over there, it's pretty cramped. They added more equipment which is awesome but now there's less room by the free weights. I try to avoid this location when it's busy (5-6pm) because of this. This is still a great gym and great location! I would still highly recommend it gets the job done! read more

I enjoy working out here. Super close and the 24/7 access really makes it nice. Clean and not to busy.

This is a small but bright and clean fitness center. There's only two squat racks and a smith machine. No bench rack so you have to set up a bench in one of the squat racks. It's never too busy. All cardio machines are new and have Tvs with multiple channels. All The equipment is new. For the cable machines, there's so many handles/options. Free weight selection is small but gets the job done. Staff is friendly and doesn't push training or sales. TRX bands, medicine balls, weighted ropes, and hydraulic rowing machines are also available. The environment is positive and people seem respectful there. read more

I absolutely love this gym! I have been a gym member at X sport fitness & LA fitness (different locations) and have never received such awesome customer service until Anytime Fitness in Schaumburg. They truly care about your health and even go out of their way to help you while you are working out. You can tell they truly care because they keep you motivated by doing monthly contests! I have also developed relationships with the staff and they are all incredible and very knowledgeable. The gym is always kept clean (which is always a problem at other gyms because no one ever cleans up after their members/people do not clean up after themselves). I would recommend this gym 100%. Going at different times of the day, it is never too crowded that you have to WAIT for a machine and I've had that problem at other gyms. The auto withdrawal is the best because I never have to worry about calling in to make a payment (I would probably forget, this is extremely convenient). The gentleman at the front desk Vito signed me up and walked me through how the process works, he made it easy! The best part about this gym is that it is open 24/7 & they offer classes!!! They also have showers and towels available which is great because I always workout before work and usually head there right after! They also have FREE tanning and a massage table which is pretty sweet! 5 stars!!! read more

Jam packed with machines, not enough room. Free weights section is so tiny and also jammed pack. No area to stretch since the studio always has a class. I literally had to stretch under a punching bag. read more

I've been happily going here for quite some time and it just feels worse and worse. I don't wanna give away security info but let's just say something's broken for at least 2 days now. There's 4 elliptical machines, only 1 of them is reliable, the other 3 are usually broken. Today I saw someone was using the only good one so I went to a sit-down bike (there's 2 and one was being used) and it's broken. So I got back up to go on some kinda elliptical-like machine and...it's broken. The gym is so crammed with equipment that sometimes it's like playing on a jungle gym to get on and off the equipment because you gotta squeeze around other stuff. Look, it's clean, friendly, they supply towels (sometimes, usually my time of day there's none there) and I don't mean to bash them too hard because they got plenty of stuff for other people who have other workout priorities and goals but today was my last day. I've had enough. Tomorrow I begin the other local A.F. gym. read more

Beware, the contract is a scam. It clearly states that if you relocate 10mi from the club, which I advised was a possibility when I signed up, that you can cancel for a fee. The contract even states CLUB. I went in with my new lease to cancel as I was relocating over 1500 miles away and got nothing but lip service and was actually treated rudely. In the reciprocation clause of the contract, it states you can use any of the CLUBs (plural). Now they tell me that is not how they interpret the relocation clause, that CLUB (singular) means any to relocate 10 miles from any CLUB when the contract clearly states THE CLUB. Will not cancel my contract even though I was more than willing to pay any early cancellation fees. Beware when you sign up, I discussed this with the employee before signing up and was told if I moved more than 10 mi away, it would be no problem to cancel. Asked to speak to club owner or manager and the employees who keep calling me will not have them call me back or give me their contact information. read more

I do not like this gym. They will charge you for no reason and will not return the money or correct the mistake. I thought to sign up at Schaumburg location and have provided my information to them. They assured me that sign up is not complete until gym opens up and that I can cancel if i wish. I did cancel before gym opened and week after that they charged my card. I called and they said it was due to their automatic sign up. Really??? That was several weeks ago and I have called them several times since and still did not receive my refund. Horrible customers service. I would never sign up in the future with any of their clubs. Person I spoke to was Heidi and she was not helpful at all. read more

I absolutely hate this gym. The equipment is fine like any other but their business practices are terrible. They lock you into a two year contract and force you to stay with them or you will have to pay hundreds of dollars to leave. Obviously a gym that feels they need to force their members to stay aren't confident in the product and service they provide. I would strongly recommend that you don't make the same mistake I did, stay away from this gym. read more
