Instead of watching a million individual dances by class level, NWBA puts on an actual ballet. The costumes, sets and lighting is top notch. My kids love feeling part of a show and dancing with other levels. They get a taste of what a professional ballet dancer gets to do. We like the ease of the recital package that LCD puts together (one reasonable price for DVD, costume, etc.) and optional fundraising to help with the price of this package. It's another one of the small touches that makes a big difference. My wife-to-be had little experience with formal dancing as well, so I knew we needed some teaching. I looked around the Internet with the desire to have more personal lessons versus a studio setting. We were so glad to find Michael. We took five lessons with him in preparation of our first dance. He put us at ease, was clear in what he was teaching, honest with criticisms (but nice about it!), and when we weren't dancing just a really down-to-earth, funny guy. We always looked forward to our lessons. He was also so easy to communicate with about setting times for our lessons. I got them as a gift for Valentine's Day and he even created custom 'coupons' I could give to my wife. When the big day came, we were confident and ready for our dance. I was charged $20 for missing the class as the studio told classpass that I could have found them. I am in a war with classpass and my credit card. This studio is a SCAM and as an avid pilates expert who spent years in NYC doing reformer pilates, DO NOT ATTEND THIS STUDIO. THEY SCAM AND LIE TO THEIR BUSINESS PARTNERS AND TAKE $ FROM NEW CLIENTS WHO HAVE NOT USED THEIR SERVICES WHEN THEY LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE.

And they both not good at all. They sent email says the 4:40 pre ballet doesn't have enough students and ask if we are willing to move to the 5:30 class. I told them 5:30 doesn't work for me , just give me the Oct refund. They said no, policy says no refund after the 15th notice. But the 5:30 doesn't work for me! When I registered the class was 4:40, and guess what! I pick up my daughter today went to the class today, there was no class! They moved to 5:30 without my consent!
