I was standing with a few other women sort of waiting for someone to come out so we could enter I got the swimming pool area. I felt like I didn't want to waste time so I decided to go find an employee. When I did I got the attention of some guy who listened to my story about how the scanner wasn't working. And that I knew it wasn't a a card or membership problem. It was the scanner, I watched other girls try to get in as well. No one could. This guy made me scan my membership so he could check that I pay for this. It worked and then asked what the problem is and I explained the entire situation and then he said oh that sounds like a problem you need help and you can go ask that girl to help you. I was shocked and a little mad. He took no responsibility to help me or even explain to the next employee what needed to happen. I got the female employee to help me but I was so mad with this the male. It was not good. He wasted like 15 mins of my time. In total of explaining and waiting for the door to be open I think it wasted 25 mins of my night. I was not okay with this.

Unfortunately, my experience with the Orem EoS Fitness location was different. When I called to ask how to sign up using Fitness Pass, I was transferred to a membership representative who informed me that I would need to pay an additional $10 per month on top of what I already pay through Fitness Pass. When I asked for clarification, I was told this was essentially because the gym needed to make more than what Fitness Pass provides. This explanation did not seem appropriate or consistent with how the program is intended to work. To verify, I contacted Fitness Pass directly. They confirmed that I should not be charged any additional fee for a basic membership and even offered to join a three-way call with the gym to clarify the situation. However, when I called the gym back just minutes later, I was told that membership staff were suddenly unavailable for at least 30 minutes, despite having just spoken with them. I then contacted another EoS Fitness location in Springville and explained the exact same situation. Their staff immediately clarified that the Fitness Pass fully covers the basic membership and that no additional fee is required. I visited that location in person, received a tour, and completed my enrollment in about 20 minutes, without any extra charges. They also explained that the $10 fee mentioned by the other location applies only to a premium membership and is entirely optional. Due to the conflicting information and lack of transparency from this location, I will be going to the Springville location instead, even though it is farther away. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend confirming all membership details carefully before signing up here.

When you tell them you never wanted a free trial membership and want a refund they will just laugh and tell you they can't issue refunds, but they will offer another free trial membership. I expressed that I was no longer interested in their studio as I didn't want to be pressured into scheduling an appointment, and their lack of professional boundaries. They got extremely defensive and claimed that they are supposed to contact people more than once a day in order to schedule appointments. When I said I will contact management about my experience they said I am no longer welcome at their studio and that they hope I get the "support and resources" I need.
