I also am an out-of-town college student and I asked if I could pause my membership and payments while out of town because I won't be able to use it. I was told that it would be perfectly fine. When I called to let them know I was going to college, they told me that the payments would continue which is not what they told me previously. I sucked it up and paid the payments to get out of this contract immediately. My membership ended on Feb. 21st, 2022. It is now March 7th, 2022 and I am still paying payments. Leading up to the 21st of February, I was leaving voicemails making sure I don't need to do anything like a cancellation form. I was never contacted. I was charged $18.99 this morning which is absolutely ridiculous. After calling twice this morning, the manager, Elizabeth, picked up the phone. She was a raging bitch who was not helpful whatsoever. I explained to her that I'd been trying to contact her, she refused to acknowledge it. She then informs me that I have to fill out a cancellation form and it will process over the next 30 days so I will be charged 2 more times. I asked her if there was any way to get my money back. She told me that it would be ridiculous to file a dispute over $36.00. I would not recommend this company, especially this location, to my worst enemy.
