He's in-tune with strengths and weaknesses of his students. He's encouraging without over doing it. And since there are no belt promotions, no extra fees, you know his motivation is to coach. I had a membership with Southpark NOT Southend in June 2022 and cancelled with no problem. In October 2022, I get an email I was billed for a 10 class pack at Southend. I did not make this purchase and promply called Southend- they said they coudln't see the charge and said I only had an account and card on file with Southpark, which was accurate. Southpark informed me to call my bank. I asummed this would be the end of it but NOT at all. Over the last several months I've gotten late billing statements, added fees, and phone calls from RockBox billing department which has no ability to fix the error. I've spoke with both locations to help remove the charge, which should be simple because I never used these credits but nothing has happened. Southpark has been very helpful. Southend who the charge must be handled by because I now know it went through the app somehow to their location has done nothing to fix and hasn't returned my calls. I didn't have any credit card info. in the app either. So I'm writing this as a last ditch effort Southend will take action before this goes to collections and hurts my credit. Such a frustrating experience because the workouts were great but I will not be back because I have no trust in the use of my credit card or customer service to fix any app issues which I've experienced to have major malfunctions. Chris the new manager is worthless, rude and should not be in charge of this club let alone himself. I still go to rock box just a different location because the work out is good but this club will charge you 2 memberships a month and if you do not catch it you will eat the charges. They should be shut down for double billing. If you read reviews they do this all the time and the new location I go to, several people have said they were charged 2 for an entire year, random late fees, no show fess to when they went to classes. You will spend more time on the phone disputing random charges then you will in the work out. Also one of the new trainers is extremely rude and her classes are not good at all.
