Was gifted this experience by my husband and it was a relaxing experience for sure. I got the Blossom Me Package for hair-loss. Going in person I found out pretty much all the packages are somewhat customizable with additional charges. I initially booked online and was able to choose a team member for my service. Of course I chose the owner herself, because who else would give the best service. Jihee was kind and very good at her craft. Moving forward I try out the other girls. She was explaining with the new location she will be going back and forth and eventually not doing services herself. She strives in training her girls to giving the best service and it shows. Everyone was so nice and very attentive. There is also a Dermatologist there, Dr. Chung who offers Korean facials and scalp micro-needling, I'm super excited for my next appointment for those. My experience today was a good one, I've been to another head spa before and it was okay. This one is so aesthetically pleasing and has a good system going. They started off with a Scalp Analysis, Aroma Oil Therapy with Air Brush, Steam, Deep Cleansing Shampoo, Conditioning, Japanese Deep tissue massage (Head, Shoulders, Neck), Rainbow Waterfall, Water Circulation (Korean Herbal Medicine Water), Special Anti-Hair Loss Treatment, Red Light Therapy, High Frequency Treatment and After Scalp Analysis. I loved the choosing of my oil and the complimentary Korean tea. The service was relaxing and I'm pretty sure I passed out at one point. I would definitely call to book especially if you have questions. They have all Dyson products; do not expect your hair to look like you just came from the salon. They're licensed estheticians not cosmetologists. But they will dry and brush your hair. Oh and they have a heated bidet in the bathroom! Fancy! Came here for a head spa treatment and it was nice and relaxing. The setup is very good. You sit in one area first to get your scalp analyzed. Then you go into a spa part for the hair wash and shampoo. The basic is just a wash and shampoo, no extras, so just be aware but you can add on once you are there but it may add time. I enjoyed looking at the before and after photos of my shiny clean scalp. I also purchased some of their organic bars of shampoo soap for my home hair regimen. The salon is beautifully decorated and very zen. My daughter and I spent a wonderful two hours there. I had high hopes for this place after I saw some Instagram reels and read these reviews but sadly, I do not think the Korean Glass Facial is worth the $250 they charge plus gratuity. Scheduling online was easy, all employees I encountered were helpful and kind and the space is beautiful, clean and relaxing. Dr .Chung did my facial and my skin looks and feels great. However, was it worth almost $300?! No. Even though the Korean glass facial says it's a 60 min treatment about 15 min of that is for you to change into a robe and slippers and do a skin analysis. The skin analysis is a high tech machine that takes pictures and gives you a report which Dr Chung went over with me. If you've never had a facial before this might be helpful but otherwise, I didn't learn anything new. Back to the facial, it's a cleansing, thorough microdermabrasion (this was my favorite part), short massage, and what I assume was a collagen mask. If this is what a true Korean Glass Facial is there is not much difference than a normal facial with a much higher price tag. In fact, my usual place does all this and a laser treatment for half the cost. read more

Disappointing and Overpriced - Not Worth It I was really looking forward to my visit to Aoki Head Spa given all the great reviews I had read, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations--especially given the price. My group of four booked the "Special Me" package, which cost $280 per person. With an automatic 25% gratuity added for groups, we ended up paying $350 each. I knew the cost ahead of time and was willing to splurge based on the promising description of the service. However, the reality didn't measure up. The scalp treatment itself was thorough, but the overall experience was not relaxing. The facial was decent, but they failed to remove all the product properly, leaving all of us with remnants of the mask stuck to our faces. Breakdown of My Two-Hour Appointment: We arrived early and waited in a nice table area before taking turns in the single changing room to put on a towel, robe, and slippers. The appointment started with a scalp analysis using a handheld scanner to show the buildup on our scalps. They also sprayed an aromatherapy mist (I think), which was pleasant but nothing remarkable. Next, we moved to the spa room and lay down on treatment tables, which were not very comfortable for your head. The session began with a 10-minute facial steam, but the machine was loud and distracting--definitely not a relaxing start. The scalp treatment was effective but rushed. The technician scrubbed quickly and wasn't very gentle, especially when turning my head. She was working on both me and another member of my group, which made it clear she was in a hurry. Considering this treatment is supposed to help relieve headaches, I found it ironic that it felt more stressful than soothing. The biggest letdown was the head massage--it was so short that I couldn't even gauge how long it lasted. The neck, arm, and shoulder massage was also underwhelming and added no real value. There were several points where I was left lying there waiting for someone to continue the treatment, which made the experience feel disjointed and impersonal. Once they finished, my head was wrapped in a towel while I waited for my friends to be done. When I moved to the hair drying area, all the stations were occupied, so they told me to change back into my clothes and return afterward. That's essentially where their service ended. I stood around with tangled, wet hair waiting for a chair, and when I finally sat down, someone briefly rescanned my scalp and then left. Unlike others, I wasn't offered any assistance with drying my hair or even a drink. What stood out the most was that no one asked how our experience was. They simply took our payment and said goodbye, which makes me think they already knew it wasn't great. My Final Thoughts: Overall, this experience was not worth it. I'm not sure how they ended up with so many good reviews. If you're planning to make a visit here, you'd be better off booking the cheapest package, or better yet, visiting another headspa or going to a great hairdresser instead. While the idea behind this spa is great, the execution left much to be desired, and I wouldn't recommend it for the cost. read more

First time at a Head Spa and it was overall a great experience! I worked with Megan and she was great. Only cons is I wish that we spent a little bit more time during the analysis actually analyzing- but I guess I should be thankful we were able to identify my problems in a couple of minutes. I would have also liked to hear more about how to avoid the issues I was having and then going over what to expect during the appointment. Of course, I read the description of what I booked but it's different hearing about the details in person. The treatment room consists of the washing stations side by side. For reference, I booked the Focus on Me package. They do a brief aromatherapy massage before you get in the room and then you start off with a steam. I felt like I was under that steam forever (although it was probably only like 5-10 minutes)- I know the whole point is to relax but all I could think about was "man I wish I had my AirPods in so I could listen to my audiobook"- clearly not the best at relaxing over here. My scalp looked and felt great- she really got in there, which is exactly what I expected! My hair is thick and I left with it partially dried. I went today and experienced this amazing head spa. I have been to another one local to Dallas, but this was on another level. The owner was amazing and very knowledgeable. She did an analysis of my scalp. Then put an oil on, that was created just for what I needed. I then went back to the room, where they steamed, washed, and massaged. The head massage and neck/back massage was wonderful. I finished with a self-serve Dyson bar, which I enjoyed since I've never purchased a Dyson. I will definitely be back! read more

Very disappointed! This was the Plano location and we were a group of 3. After Walking in and sitting down at the table we noticed lots of champagne glasses and asked if they served champagne. The girl said they didn't have any and have never had any (why do you have glasses then). Also seemed a little annoyed at the question. The scalp scrubbing felt very good and relaxing but she had to constantly stop and answer questions from the other 2 technicians. My 2 other friends said they didn't know what they were doing. Got to the arched rainfall experience and not what I thought it was going to be. They put the one row of continuous water on your head and left for what seemed at least 20 minutes or longer. We felt abandoned. We got the 1hr 10 minute package for $165. Paid extra for blowout which left all of our hair still wet and fuzzy. After being so excited to try this experience we felt very disappointed. We won't be going back but will probably try a different company. read more

I experienced the services of Aoki Head Spa on June 21. We started with an evaluation of my scalp with a wand that was placed on my head with pictures showing my scalp on a computer screen. Then an oil mixture was mixed according to what my scalp needed. I was then escorted to the room with the beds and washing equipment for the treatment. After steaming for a bit, Hannah cleaned my scalp with a brush and then again with her hands. This was very enjoyable and relaxing. They use a bar shampoo that the owner makes herself with all organic ingredients. I can't tell you how clean my scalp and hair feel the day after my visit. The experience ends with a shoulder and upper back massage. Then you self-dry with Dyson hair dryers. The whole experience took 1.25-1.5 hours and was pure heaven. Yes, therapy for the scalp is important for hair health, but self care is too! I was so relaxed that I might have fallen asleep twice. My therapist, Hana, was so sweet and briefly explained each phase of the treatment before starting and did an incredible job. There is a common space equipped with Dyson hair tools to dry your hair after your scalp therapy. The service was extremely affordable and worked well, I saw amazing results in one visit and even my hair color looks brighter. The before and after scans of my scalp were astonishing. The process itself was so incredibly relaxing that I fell asleep a few times.
