Still as great as when I updated my review last year, so for great info, read that. This is simply an addendum (wink) ... The co-ed lounge still offers space to sit and wait. They have complimentary snacks and flavored water. There are also still cozy blankets throughout the room you can use. I will say the chairs are not super comfortable so which I would bet is to ensure you don't lounge around all day. The complimentary drink situation hasn't changed, but they have added clarification at the front desk and in the lounge. ONE complimentary drink is offered (wine, champagne, mimosa, tea) and you can choose to have it prior to your service or after. I would recommend if you are arriving less than 30min before your service OR it's busy, get your drink AFTER! There are only so many staff members and if it's busy your drink won't be delivered with enough time to actually enjoy it prior to your service. They have removed the door from the shower and replaced it with a curtain so it's easier to spot. HOWEVER, they do not offer towels larger than a washcloth, so if you plan to shower BRING your OWN towel! They do however have complimentary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the first time I ever I included a facial to my visit. The Repair and Revive facial was incredibly relaxing and my skin looked wonderful! I do wish more instruction had been offered when I checked in as this was my first facial. For ex: - Do I wear a robe, or go in my clothes? A: Either. You take off your top and they have you wear a wrap before climbing under a warm blanket and lay on a table (like a massage). - Should I shower before because I won't want to wash my face after? A: yes. Sunscreen and other creams were added to my face so I did not want to shower after. -Should I have my hair done or leave it messy after a massage? A: They massage your neck and around your hairline with oils then wrap a soft headband around your hair to keep it off your face. I had a new woman giving my massage and a new woman do my facial and both were incredible. I have yet to request the same person when I return because truly no matter who I get, they are incredible! read more

After Woodhouse's most recent renovation, the Quiet Room feels like a Starbucks seating area, where I should whip out my laptop and hop on a Zoom call. Several small, dining-height tabletops and lots of tiny, hard chairs. What happened to the comfy chaise lounges with the big, fluffy pillows? There's a small water station (cool, no ice) and a few small to-go snacks, but that's it. Large, well-maintained spa. They provide everything needed for a lovely massage: robe, slippers, pony tail holders, and afterwards brush, comb, shavers and a shower. Each client gets their own locker to stow away handbag and clothing. After changing, start in the Relaxation Room and choose hot tea or other beverages. Move into your absolutely quiet massage room. The facial service with Suk was lovely. The new furniture in the lounge however is not on par with what I have come to know as the level of quality for Woodhouse Spa. It does not match the aesthetic of the room, it is uncomfortable and undersized for most guests. The lack foot rests is an oversight and the addition of banquette tables is so inappropriate. Frankly, it looks like CORT rental furniture and more of a reception area one would find at an apartment leasing office. Please reconsider these selections and bring back the elegance that the room used to have with the prior furnishings. That ambience was far more befitting of a classy high end spa. read more

The relaxation room is beautiful and the staff was accommodating and nice. They made me feel welcome and asked me a couple of times if I wanted a drink besides water. The champagne was great. The relaxation room does allow for groups to chat with each other, so it may not be perfectly quiet. I had it to myself for 10 minutes before two friends came in and talked, but it didn't bother me. I had the 50 minute Hydrate & Smooth facial by Suk. She was sweet and made my face feel clean. I'm not sure it was worth $140 since half of the time is used on massaging versus all facial work (and I prefer all facial work). If I go back again, I will talk to them first about options that may include more facial work. Parking is easy as there is a parking garage next door to the spa. read more

this location never answers the phone. a recording tells you to leave a message, which I've done 3 times now. I've never received a call back. additionally they send specials on text messages only for 1 to 2 appts available at inconvenient times when trying to book. This has been my favorite spot to spa for years. It is tucked into the Shops at Legacy, but luckily on a private side near easy to access parking. They offer comfy robes and relaxation beverages in a pre-treatment room so you can get ready for your service. Notice I didn't call it a relaxation room - more on that later. The staff is amazing whether you are getting a massage or a facial. I highly recommend all of them - I have never had a bad experience. BUT.....I recently took my girls there before they went back to college for the spring semester. We had a lovely spa day planned. Our treatments were a little bit spread out and we planned a little time in the previously named "relaxation room" with books in hand. Well......they have remodeled this room. The corners now have booth seating with tables. Interesting. The chairs throughout the room encourage you to stay for a short time - they are not comfortable and there are no ottomans to improve the experience. I was so surprised. Going in for a spa treatment is a whole experience, not just an in/out thing. Woodhouse does not have the luxury locker room like some spas and now with the changes in the waiting room, I am looking for another option for my spa days, unfortunately. I'm giving them 4 stars because their Staff doesn't deserve to get less than that just due to a management decision to chase people out of the waiting room with the new aesthetic. read more

This was my first visit to Woodhouse Spa but not my first spa visit, ever. Upon arrival, I was greeted with kind and welcoming decorum. They checked me in and the lady who checked me in was very sweet. I told her about how this was a rare day for me to not have my child 100 percent of the time and that I'd like to capitalized on my visit if possible since I have child care for a whole day. She listed some add-ons that I could do and I was so excited to hear you offer "cupping"! I immediately asked if she can get me signed up for that and we confirmed all my details and I was sent back to get ready. All was well except any time I went into the changing/locker/bathroom area, there was an attendant in the middle of it all with baskets or trash or towels right amidst where you need to pass to get in and out, so everyone was having to maneuver around them. Twice I went to the bathroom (when I first changed and again after my massage, so about 60 minutes between). Both times there was no toilet paper. I asked the attendant and she said they were in the toilet area. I said it was out in there and she immediately got it changed but said she was ensured the person before her had filled them. I finished my deep tissue massage, and facial and the attendant told me I could change back before I got a pedicure. However, I hadn't been lead to get the cupping I had added on. I told her this and she lead me to the front where one younger lady who was there earlier but not very friendly, told me that the therapist didn't see my add-on so she didn't do it. So I asked if I can get it now then since I had really wanted it and was especially looking forward to this service for my back. And she said "you won't have to pay for it. I discounted that off your bill", and I explained I just wanted to pay for it and get it and she said "sorry, we can't because it has to be added to a massage" and I said, right, I got a massage but didn't know if I was supposed to be lead somewhere else for the cupping service so I didn't ask the massage therapist about it. This woman continued to stare at her computer screen and not even look up at me when I was trying to communicate and find a solution. She just said "we can't do that now. We close at 6."....it was 4:30 at this point. She had no empathy or offering of a solution and basically treated me as if the spa's lack of organization and communication was my problem. I did enjoy the massage from Tiffany I had, though. Great communication and technique. As for the facial, I had never had a facial before and when I told the esthetician this, she just asked if I was serious and said I had good skin. Honestly, I was expecting a bit of communication about her process and perhaps some information about post-facial skincare. No one told me anything or even gave me a chance to shop around the front or talk to me about products or service recommendations. No apology for the inconvenience of not providing the service I had signed up for and then not communicating that to me until I brought it up. The front desk didn't seem too helpful or interested in my experience when I checked out, either. She asked "how was everything?" and I said "it was fine but disappointing" and she just completely ignored that said "good!" As if she wasn't really listening. Overall, I'd say there is quite a bit of room for improvement on the customer service front. I did google post facial skincare after I got home, so I'm covered there. I wouldn't normally leave such a long and detailed review but this is literally the first day I've had since July where I didn't have my daughter connected at the hip and I was really looking forward to a stress-free, satisfying experience. Overall, it was really disappointing and heartbreaking for me. I needed this one day so badly. read more

I have been going to the Woodhouse for a few years now and have received excellent services. I highly recommend this day spa for their highly skilled therapists. I went today to see my favorite therapist, but was extremely disappointed by the remodel that had recently been done in their relaxation area. Where there used to be wonderful chaise lounges with cozy blankets to relax before your treatment, there are now cold, cheap looking straight back chairs and couches that are not at all comfortable or inviting. There is nothing at all relaxing or comforting about this remodel. I think that Woodhouse missed the mark on this one. This area used to be one of my favorite parts of my visit and it no longer is. It might be time to start looking for a new day spa. read more

I have been a faithful patron of this Woodhouse location for over 10 years. Today I received a text, not a phone call, to inform me that my service in less than 17 hours was being cancelled. Reason in the text was that the therapist no longer works at the facility. The only accommodation they attempted to make via text was for me to come in tomorrow evening for the service. The time they offered was 8 hours after my service time with no consideration of my time or the fact that this appointment was made weeks in advance. Where is the loyalty to your loyal patrons. I book my services every 2 months and purchase service packages every year to express my loyalty. A phone call to explain the situation would have been more professional and better received!
