Second nail salon I've tried in McKinney. My mother and I got our nails done here, we had to wait over 10 minutes to be serviced. The nail technicians are very nice here. I also like the fact that they print out the price prior to you sitting down. My overall nails are ok. I asked for almond French with a black outline and the lines were not crisp. They looked kinda bad. This disappointed me because a nearby salon was able to do it great but I'd more expensive. I would come here again but be very vigilant. read more

Be very cautious about this shop. If I could give zero stars, I would. I went for a mani/pedi which included having acrylics removed. I opted for regular nail polish to give my nail beds a chance to "breathe" from the harsh glues & gels I've used for a few months. The techs came and the work began, but I was not offered a "menu" to choose my mani/pedi, despite asking a couple of times. The nail tech told me that he'd give me a "regular" manicure & pedicure. During the rush job, I ended up with a damaged cuticle & nails that looked like a 5 yo did the job. Do not go here if you want a pedicure ! The person who did mine did not massage for the entire time. She simply rubbed my skin back and fourth lightly, and when I asked her to put more pressure, she did for about 4 seconds and then went back to the same motion in the same place. My friend invited me to meet her for a dip manicure and pedicure. The place is nice and clean. The technician who did my pedicure was great. The one who did my manicure was terrible. I asked her multiple times to be careful with my cuticles. She was rough, kept pulling my hand towards her multiple times instead of moving on the other side of the chair when she finished one hand, and cut the cuticle skin on all fingers on the right hand. I believe her name was Holly. The manager was nice when I spoke to her at check out. I give the overall salon a good rating for ambiance, cleanliness. I give Holly a one star. Not sure if I would come here again. There are so many salons to choose from. Hard to justify paying $69 for today's services when I walked out of there with bleeding cuticles and overall dissatisfied. read more

This is by far the best nail salon I have found since moving to Texas. Reminds me of my nail shop back home, they are always very welcoming and have great techs. I had Mike do my Nex Gen nails (my first time with Nex Gen) for a wedding I was in; and he listened to what I wanted with shape and length and explained a lot of the process throughout the service. He was just an all around great person, very friendly and easy to talk to, definitely will be a repeat customer! A few days later I went back for a pedicure for a trip, and I had the pleasure of getting Daniel. He's was great! So friendly, amazing personality and great pedicure skills. Took his time and didn't just rush through the massage part like most places. Loved that both techs were so personable because it makes the visit better than awkward silence. I had broken a thumb nail so when Mike saw me he went ahead and fixed it and reshaped my nails. They have great customer service. This will definitely be my forever nail shop! read more

Heather. Lilly. Paul. I have been a customer for two years. Heather is the manager who always knows how to book my appointments promptly and professionally. She maximizes my time so I'm seen by a nail technician and has another tech attend to pedicure at the same time. Lilly is a sculptor of sorts. I'm particular about pink and white acrylic powder and the sizing of the white tip. I'm not into Nextgen nails but she is skilled in this as well. Paul is the only gentlemen who can touch toes and heal the soul in the process. He could tell when I'm running more on certain weeks and what colors by season I gravitate towards. Back to his healing hands. I opt for the pedicure that is milk and honey because it's a sensory treat. If you add the hot stones it's getting transported to to a spa. Whenever Lilly and Paul work on me, I don't have to plan my next visit for another three to four weeks. I make the most of money well spent in the name of self-care. My mother visited from over-seas and owns a spa in another country. She is very particular about hygiene practices and enjoyed her visit here for that reason. Can you go to another nail place that is a dime a dozen? Sure! Yet, you won't have a Heather, Paul and Lilly. I often share my life successes with them and they encourage me in life. They help me beautify the hands and feet that face the world. I love my nail place! read more

I really hate doing bad reviews as they are really rare for me but my experience was so bad I have to. I told them I wanted to do French tip with chrome on top. I brought in pictures and showed them the 2 colors from OPI that I wanted for the French manicure. They assured me they had those colors and would do it as the picture. The sweet lady started to dip my entire nail in a bright white (NOT funny bunny from OPI) and I told her I wanted French tips not my whole entire nail white. So that added 45 extra minutes to me waiting since she had to remove all her work. Also if you don't have the colors I requested than that's fine just tell me since I did specifically ask for them and you have the impression I would get those colors I requested. Than my nails were all crooked tips. They look so bad. They did not use any of the colors I requested. My nail apt took close to 4 hours. And what's really odd is I asked for round tips (round NOT almond) and they did almond and charged me $5 for almond shape??? One other thing was there was a lady with short hair surveil-lancing the entire nail tech area and would tel the other techs what to do and come to correct their mistakes. You could tell all the girls were uncomfortable around her. Also the client next to me asked for gel nails. The girl surveil-lancing the floor told the guy who was doing her nails to do dip instead. So he started to do dip and the client said wait I asked for gel. And the nail tech got upset and told the girl surveil-lancing the floor "you told me dip and she said she wants gel so now I need to remove the dip" and the lady said "fine then do gel" I'm not even kidding it was so weird. I paid $70 for the worst manicure of my life. Will absolutely never go back. read more

Update.. I'm changing the review to one star. I left 4 hours ago and the paint is chipping off (see small toe). While taking the picture below I also noticed the crap paint job on the big toe. This salon does not do the "grater" on callus heels only the stone. If that's a service you want/need go somewhere else. They claim it's a city ordinance but I get this service at other nail salons in McKinney. This was my first time to visit this salon. Facilities are nice and clean. I was able to walk right in and be assisted. They have a lot of staff. Prices are comparable to other salons in the area. Four stars for not offering the "grater" service. read more

Went this past weekend as I have just moved from Cali and need to find a new nail salon by my home. This place is HUGE, tons of techs and chairs along with staff to support them. I requested a gel manicure and was handed what looked like a wine list but with all of the colors offered, so much better than the swatches on metal rings like most places! Good first impression. I asked the tech not to cut my nails but to reshape and clean them up and this is where the issues started. Now, I wore acrylic nails for 10+ years and when the pandemic hit I went natural, because you know, everything was closed and they're hard to maintain. My nails for the last year have been extremely strong and very rarely break. Well the 'clean' up she did was to absolutely slaughtered the strength of my nails by 'cleaning them'. No, No, No, she removed at least 2 layers of my healthy natural nails and filed them inconsistently and with breaks that have now caught on my hair and cloths, which have torn and chipped my nails. I am going back solely to have them re-do the polish as I have already had to refile all of them. Don't think I'll be going back. read more

Had a very good first impression walking in as the place is very big and spacious. But overall not a pleasant experience. Once they sat me down to get my nails done (I was getting my acrylics filled) the first person to do my nails would get up and leave every time someone walked in the door, she probably got up and left in the middle of doing my nails about four times. Finally someone came to finish my nails the whole way through and overall, they were pretty sloppily done. The thickness was very uneven, I had to file some bumps off once I got home, and the nails on my left hand are longer than the ones on my right. Ben did my nexgen and he was amazing!!! I showed him my inspiration photo and he studied it for about 10 seconds and then executed perfectly. He is my new nail guy!!! My pedicure left much to be desired. I didn't realize until I left, but the polish job was not great and I still had dead skin on my feet and heels still felt rough. $40 plus tip for a pedicure and you at least want to leave with smoother feet then when you went in. We came last minute to get a pedi and a nexgen set and were not disappointed. We had asked about their Covid precautions and they were super accommodating and put us at ease. We were both super happy with the services they provided. Ashley did my pedi and was superb. Throughout the process she consistently checked in with me to make sure temps and pressure was good and when she was working on my nails she did as well to make sure I liked everything. I have NEVER had an appointment go so well that I asked for the tech's information so I could exclusively book with them but, here we are! Sam did such an incredible job on my nexgen. They were quick, communicative, and I've truthfully never been as pleased with my results as I was today! If you get nexgen regularly you know it can sometimes be difficult to get an even filing on the powder and you'll notice after walking out that there are lumps and bumps you'll be living with for 3 weeks. My friend has been here a few times and told me to come with her today.Everyone was very nice and polite but I did not get what I asked for. I showed a picture of the nails I wanted and they attempted to get something close to them. After my lady was done I noticed my nails looked very crooked and thick so I asked if she could file them down a bit more and she said no. I look over at my friend who is also getting her nails done at the same time and hers look amazing and thin. I tried getting the other lady to take a look but she refused and said her coworker did beautiful work. I still tipped and did not make a big deal but I thought I'd leave an honest review. Either going back tomorrow and asking them to fix it or I'm going to a different place to fix it if they won't. Also when receiving my leg massage for my pedicure the lady was squeezing my legs like she was taking out some anger so I asked her to be more gentle because it hurt. After a few more tries I asked her to stop because it was hurting so bad with how quick and tight her movement were. Nobody was rude but I was expecting to feel relaxed and ended up just being stressed out after this nail appointment. I feel bad because I feel like everyone was genuine and being nice. I've been to this nail salon a few times and this is the last time i will go. The first two times i went I had a great nail tech Hannah who was amazing and took her time and did a great job. The last time i went staff was very rude and rushed me so much even though they weren't busy. They cut my fingers and toes. I was not impressed with the quality of dip nail I received here. It was $40 and the lady took twice as long as it normally takes and the look was worse than what I have gotten in the past. They started cracking on the edges the next day. I have never had them crack in the middle and show lines like this. They also turned a brown shade after 3 days. I recently moved to the area, and have been eying this place as it is next to the Kroger I go to. I decided to take my first Covidtime plunge today- and I was most definitely impressed. When I walked in, I was very warmly greeted and asked to wash my hands with soap and water. Everyone was wearing masks. The staff was fantastic, and even with no beverage service(Covid) I had a safe, relaxing, fantastic experience. I will most definitely be back.
