It was really important that our friends and family have a great time. Being able to use his online system to add songs and the flow of the day really helped up think things through, especially since we had such a wide variety of music to cover. Different ages, genres, etc. You can tell he's very experienced in what he does as well as knowing how to keep the day flowing. He was able to put all the different types of music we wanted through out the day without it feeling disjointed, then kept us dancing later. All our guests were impressed and very happy with the music selection. I liked that he was very subdued but kept things under control all day a little nod or gesture and it's handled. My sister and her husband love progressive house, edm and classic rock of course. His mixing and scratching skills were on point. The best DJ & MC we could ask for!!! We had our wedding on June 30th at Pala and Danny Aon absolutely killed it. Most people don't realize how important a DJ and MC is... but they have the most impact how fun/enjoyable the reception will be. We used Aon Events for our Wedding on Nov. 10th 2018. Dj Lily was there to provide ceremony and reception music for a very reasonable price. The whole process was very easy. The packages were great. We had the Diamond Package with an added hour. They have an online site where you can choose all the ceremony music and all the important reception music including your favorite songs for the dance floor. Danny and Lily were super responsive and it was clear that our vision for the night was top priority. Our guests loved the music that she played and Dj Lily was wonderful about taking and playing requests. DJ Danny is a true pro! We had the pleasure to have him as our wedding reception DJ on June 24th, 2017 and we wouldn't have had it any other way! He was able to work well with me and my fiance (now husband) through phone and email. We live in Northern California and were not able to actually meet with him until our wedding reception, which ended up being just fine! He communicated very well from the start and was able to layout and put together a template with a timeline that would accomodate our short (and late in the evening) reception. He only required $150 to "reserve" him for our reception and did not require any other payment or final song requests until very shortly before the wedding. The final song requests were due 3-4 days (I think) before the wedding day so it gave me plenty of time to make decisions. Another great thing is that he sent us a link to our very own personalized and protected wedding event website which we could edit the information, details, and songs for our event. It allows you to use a very helpful online fill-in-the-blank template to include things like the names of your party, the names of the people toasting, what you would like the DJ to wear, etc. It also had a section dedicated to song requests and allows you to very easily pick songs for your event; including songs that must be played, songs that he can play if there is time  (the optional songs) and a list for songs that you don't want to be played at all. The options for the songs/bands was actually very diverse and had a lot of variety, including songs from very popular music hits to less popular songs and bands. It was very easy to organize the song list and also had a note section attached to each song so that you could put in specific notes and designate which part of the wedding you would like it to be played during (cocktail hour; dinner music; first dance; father daughter dance; dancing music, etc). Before the actual wedding day, he did call with a consultation to go over the song choices I had made. I have a specific taste of music (alternative rock, grunge rock, indie, poppy rock) and unfortunately that type of music isn't the best to keep the average wedding dance crowd going, so he made suggestions on changing it up a bit.. me, not being very picky, I was very open to suggestions and knew he was the expert. It turned out fabulous and he really did know which songs to play, there was always a crowd on the dance floor and he even threw in some songs to get our mid to older crowd up on the dance floor as well! One thing that really stood out about Danny is that he is very patient! My fiance and I were a bit late to the reception to our grand entrance.. I had a wardrobe malfunction, I had troubles with trying to pin up my train and figure out the bustle before we entered, it was a big pain and with very little lighting in a dark outside area it made it a challenge. DJ Danny was patient enough to fill the lag time/cocktail time with more music before we entered. I don't think anyone noticed that we were running a little late. Another short term accommodation he was able to make: We had a toasting section of the reception and I had given DJ Danny the names of the people that were going to toast. Right before we started them, my father in law got stage fright and decided last minute that he did not want to make a toast, which was fine and I quickly asked my grandfather to fill in for him and say something on his own.. Dj Danny was very open to the last minute change, introduced my grandfather and it worked out smoothly, no blips or anything, no one noticed. A few days after the reception, he sent us an email thanking us for using him as a DJ and also attached a couple pictures and videos that he had taken with his own camera during our reception, was not expecting that and it was super awesome of him! DJ Danny is an amazing, talented DJ, we highly recommend him and we owe him for making our wedding reception run as smoothly as it did. We couldn't have done it without him!
