He wanted to charge us extra for this, but we thought it was weird for a gutter company to charge for clean-up. Is it your standard practice to just throw debris in a customer's lawn after your work? We told him that we didn't want that. I mean, we're paying you almost $500 to clean our gutters and now, we have to find someone to clean up your mess? Does that make sense to you? So I told them that if they couldn't clean up after themselves, we'll use someone else. He changed his mind and took out the extra charge begrudgingly. We wanted to give them a chance, so we scheduled the job. When their guy arrived, he also tried to convince us to NOT bag the leaves. We made it clear that we wanted the leaves gone. Again, their guy did the work begrudgingly and after that, he just left. There was no notice or even an attempt to collect payment. We were confused on how to pay. Eventually, we got an email to pay online and paid it quickly. But that was an unprofessional experience. If you didn't want to clean up your mess, just say so. You wouldn't have to do the job and I would've went with someone else. But no, you chose to hold a grudge and take it out on the customer. EDIT: Saw the response to this review. The account must be under my husband's name as he scheduled the visits and made the payments. Anyways, no thanks to the call. We didn't post this review, looking for a resolution. We made this review to share our experience and inform others that this company doesn't like to clean up after their work. Personally, we don't agree with this and made this clear upfront. And that's fine if your company chooses to operate like this. But don't just lie, pretend to give the service we want, hold grudges, and try to force the customer to get what you want. You can't expect to get what you want and get paid for what you want. There has to be a mutual agreement, which should've been done during the first visit with the estimate. Don't get us wrong; we're glad the job was done, but we would've preferred to pay another company who wants to do the job the way we agreed upon.

And in dropping the heavy bundles of shingles on the roof I think they damaged them in the process. Several of the shingles installed had damage on the leading edges. When the old roof was being taken off a strip of metal fell down and hit my window. Fortunately it did not break it. In the process of removing the old roof the workers bent the metal flashing on my rain gutter on one of the inside corners. Several nails on the roof vent were not caulked. They gouged a hole in the side of my porch to install a portion of the roof. I had a strip of rain diverter at the edge of the roof where the a/c unit is that was not replaced and put back. I was told that no metal flashing was going to be used in the valley of the roof and after installation there is metal flashing exposed. They broke a branch on a bush in the front. There were several pink wrappers from the shingles left behind and twelve nails (and counting) I have picked up thus far. They left an oil stain in the driveway. Communication was non existent. And a day later is when they wanted to send a manager to do a walk through. I am still able to get up on the roof to find out what kind of poor workmanship was done. I can't imagine what other customers miss when they are not in a position to inspect their own roofs. One thing is true that the salesman told me when he initially came out. You never know what kind of work was done until years later when there is failure. I won't really know the quality of their workmanship until years later. With what is visible to me in their installation I wish I had gone with another company.
