Chelsea Audio is no exception, and Ford is a great guy. Good and interesting selection of gear. Now with all of these places, it makes no sense for them to cover lower end gear. Between Best Buy, big box and Amazon, the commodity end of the market is handled. So it's understood that these types of stores are dealing with a very small segment of the market. And each time I've entered they have really tried to understand my needs and my time frame. As someone who tries to buy quality once and hold it for as long as possible, I'm slow to make a purchase of this sort. I've been clear about that, and Ford's main concern was to help me in that process while building a relationship. At the moment, all I needed were some new cans. After having my last pair for about 15 years, it was time for something fresh. In the end, I went with a line of cans that Chelsea didn't carry, but that was after a long and careful review at four stores. I hope that for my next piece that I'll be able to do business with Chelsea Audio. It's a great shop, very elegant, and a really nice array of equipment running up from the mid-level up to the stratosphere. They are really great.

Klein Tools, many made in the USA. They have items like a flameless heat gun, which could go well with their contactless infrared thermometers. They stock plenty of datacom cables and parts, routers and hubs, HDMI and other video cables. They also have heat shrink tubing. Don't forget the awesome Elenco Snap Circuits for kids! URS stocks some Spark Fun Arduino and Lilypad Arduino items! They also have LED strips. Those are all pretty useful things you will not find in retail stores in Portland! The universe of electronics parts is huge now, and it is difficult for local suppliers to stock. So their actual parts selection is small. They have blister packed 74xx and the like, and a few bulk resistors, capacitors and LED's. But they are a good place to check if you can't wait on remote suppliers for something you need now!

As soon as the product was connected to gas, a strong leak was detected from the back of the gas stove connection on the unit itself. I immediately called B & R and they took zero accountability or responsibility for the issue. They stated I must then go through the manufacture's warranty to have the issue addressed. Basically they just took my money, sold me a faulty product, and then pushed it back on me to fix with the warranty company directly - which I did not have time or energy for. It took several calls to the warranty company, appointments, the rescheduling of appointments because their tech team couldn't make it out, ordering or parts with follow-up appointments to finally fix the issue. It was over the course of 2 months that I finally was able to have a working gas stove - what I had originally paid for and was promised from the beginning. B & R basically wiped their hands clean from the moment the product left their store. Would never trust them or buy from them again.

Hey pal, I have multiple instruments and these were two I almost never play (as if it's any of their business). They claimed there were problems with both and weren't interested. Now, I have done business with them multiple times, but they can kiss this customer goodbye! I'm not a thief, but these guys are jerks.
