I asked for a 90 day same as cash pawn, they gave me a loan, not what I asked for. They all act entitled because they're pawn brokers? so I ended having a pay for something that was suppose to be a pawn. I went there cause they were the highest rating around town and I didn't have the time to get to the recommended shop I was suppose to go to. I've been somewhat regular in using this pawn shop, since it's prior owner who was clearly hellofa lot better at staffing and cash on items. Was treated like I was some kind of low life scum. First I'm aware it was the end of the day +/- 15 till close the little prick behind the counter could have just been polite and told me all sales were wrapped up for the day. Instead he lowballs me then acts as if I was trying to use identification that wasn't mine because when asked how old I was I said either 37 or 38 followed by stating my birthdate, keep in mind I'm not all there, (War time veteran Honorably discharged and disabled) I showed further proof of my identity although didn't really see why I should, as I said before was a customer several times before and was in their system. Ive never, till now boycotted any business but A1hawk can kick rocks. And to the little nervous baby dick prick behind the register you're welcome for the freedoms you've clearly took for granted that me and my fellow vets provided (alive and deceased) thank you for your sacrifice. Last night I went to a pawn shop for the first time ever. I went from place to place shopping around for some jewellery. I couldn't believe the attitude and lack of professionalism from everyone I was dealing with at each store. I stopped at your Gladstone location last where I was helped by Roberto. In the field I work in professionalism is huge and Roberto treated me exactly how a customer should be treated. I came in minutes before closing time and he had no problem with me taking my time to make my decision and answering all my questions. There were better deals elsewhere and I had no problem with buying from him with how he represented the company and himself. read more

Worst place ever said the cell phone I was gonna buy was clean and ready to go for my aunt. Took it to t-mobile said it was no good and stolen. It was locked and we tried 3 different SIM cards even a new SIM card and wouldn't work. (0 STARS) DON'T GO HERE. Went to purchase a Nintendo 3DS here and purchased it for 100. The counter guy said try it out, and if you're not satisfied bring it back for a full refund. I was helped by two men, and when I returned the next day, one want working and the other one of them "conveniently" forgot the whole transaction. Just goes to show pawn shops are shady. Don't believe a word they say, even if they offer to bend the rules for their return policy. Learned my lesson here. read more
