I recently replaced every window in my three level home including two sliding glass doors and front door. These were all original windows from late 1980s, many of which couldn't be opened and decaying framework. Was delaying needed work as we debated downsizing and selling as is. Jacob was our rep who showed up politely and asked if we would consider using Apex. He provided us with info and education about what to look for in quality windows. He spent time measuring the dozens of windows and frames, including several big windows with non-standard shapes in high-to-reach places. He also recommended adjustments to existing windows, converting several panes into single and changing types. This was done with no pressure. He then gave an estimate for the entire project including frames and colors, and also said this did not have to include the entire project if we wanted to do only segments. He left with no pressure to commit right away. After doing further research, I did proceed with entire project. Next, Nick the master installer came and made precise measurements. He was very efficient but extremely likable. The windows would take months to be produced, but I was then told when they were ready and given windows(no pun) for installation date options. When the date came, it was impressive to watch Nick and his team rip out everything and install the windows It took 4 days but each day everything was clean and windows secure. Now the most important thing-the quality of the windows is top notch. Temperature control was immediately noticed. The views through the windows were great. I have had no problems since installation this past summer. I recommend this product highly, and Jacob and Nick were both superb. read more

Recently, we had new Alside windows installed by Apex Energy, and we are more than happy with the results. Jacob was our sales consultant and provided us with an excellent presentation of the Insignia triple pane window design features and the process of installation. At the end, he provided a no-pressure quote for replacing all 32 of our windows, along with the sliding glass door. We accepted the offer 2 days later, and the process began. The next step was having Tony come out and measure all of our windows with precision so that the manufacturer, Alside, could begin preparing the product. The windows arrived in about 12 weeks, and the installation was scheduled to begin. The install crew, led by Zach were not only very skilled at their tasks, but they were also extremely polite and pleasant to interface with. Working as a team, they completed the installation and trim work in 4 full days. The daily cleanup left no traces of the amount of tear-out that had occurred that day. At the end of each day, Zach would ask us if we had any questions or concerns. At the end of the job, we did a walk around with him to ensure that all windows were completed to our satisfaction. If any adjustments were needed, they were completed and reverified. Zach's attention to detail was greatly appreciated. As far as the windows are concerned, we are very pleased with them. Right away, we noticed the reduction in outside noise as well as the lack of draftiness that the 30-year-old windows allowed. Where do I begin? This has been a long process with some highs and lows. In early January I opened the door for a solicitor, something I almost never do. I engaged in a long conversation with Evan M. from Apex about their product. It turns out that my husband and I were already planning on replaced several windows on our South facing home because we were going to paint the exterior of our home in the summer of 2022 also. I was interested, interested enough to have Evan set an appointment up for me and my spose to speak with a sales representative from Apex. Within the next week we had our sales appointment with Jacob. Jacob was great, very personable (as most sale people are). He had a very low pressure approach, high confidence in the product, and was able to get very technical with my engineer husband about how efficient the Apex Insignia windows with with R-values and argon gas, ect. At the end of the "pitch" he very matter of fact provided us with what the cost would be for what we wanted. Then walked away and gave us adequate time to speak privately, returned and basically said, there is no pressure - you tell me what you want to do. We decided to move forward! Thanks to supply chain issues we were looking at about 12 weeks before the windows would come in, but that worked for us because we had to wait for the weather to warm up to schedule our paint job. Regardless, Jacob closed the deal after providing an excellent presentation of why Apex was better than all the rest. Next came meeting with Alex P. who took care of our critical measurements to get all of our windows precisely measured and ordered. He was great to work with. Finally install day came - I am going to keep this section short because quite frankly, I wasn't impressed. I was told I would have a "MASTER INSTALLER" to do the install. The team I got was less than master class (turns out their best guy was out of town at the time of my install). With that said, they were polite and worked hard. When I reached out to express my discontent with some of their finishing touches, my concerns were immediately acknowledged and I even received a call from the owner of the company Mr. Scott Call. I appreciated how intent they were are making things right - which they did. Now, why the 4 star review? THE WINDOWS ARE AMAZING. They are beautiful! They block out so much outside noise. It is unbelievable how much cooler our home is. Like I mentioned we are South facing and we just get blasted with full day sun. Our AC bill has been noticeably lower and the home is just so much cooler. We truly think the Insignia window Apex sells is awesome. Love the windows. I DO RECCOMEND Apex - also they have a 30 year warranty, pretty damn impressive. (sorry for the long review - but the good really out weighed the bad) read more

Update: Unfortunately, the installation process did not go as smoothly as the sales process. This is a classic case of over-promising and under-delivering. The installers came on 5/1/2024 to replace our windows, but they noticed that one of our large windows was broken. They said they would order a new one. Additionally, the front door handle they installed is incorrect, and we don't even have keys for it. The trim around one of our doors was damaged and had to be replaced, but instead of matching it to the rest of the trim, they used a completely different trim. One of our screens was ripped, and another screen is only half the size it should be. I was told all these issues would be promptly fixed. Furthermore, our brand-new dog door broke, and when I contacted the company, I received no response, so my husband had to fix it. It's now been 11 weeks, and all I get is the runaround. I've reached out to our salesperson, Shanda, multiple times over the last 4 weeks, but I've gotten nowhere. On June 20, I was told that it was in shipping. On June 27, I was told they had everything except the dog door (the first time I received a response regarding the dog door), and last week I was told the installer was supposed to call me. Yet here we are, and still no word. I am extremely disappointed with the amount of money we spent and their lack of follow-through. Beware! We recently talked to Shanda 720-357-2977 regarding new windows for our home. After meeting with her and learning about their products, it was an easy choice to choose Apex Energy Solutions. Before we consulted with Shanda we met with several other companies and none of them seemed right. We were hesitant to let any of them complete such a big project (replacing 29 windows, our front door, and our back door). My dad had bought a sliding glass door and windows from them, but two main issues occurred within the past year: 1. When summer rolls around,the sliding glass door expands, making up unable or extremely difficult to slide 2. The sealant for the windows has caused damage to the window frame, we had to repair the frame, and get it repainted The main issue comes from them not being reliable and straight up blaming us for what has happened, in regards to the door, my dad has been trying to reach out to apex, but it has been a whole year of, at most 2 calls telling him, yeah we'll some out sometime, them not doing it..afterwards not responding at all. Regarding the windows, they straight up just said "we are not responsible for that damage, you do something about it. Overall that take advantage whenever they can, and aren't reliable at all Would not recommend read more

The sales folks were incredibly diligent bordering on aggressive during the sales process. The windows are totally fine. The installation was a bit of a mess and required us to touch up paint the outside of our house, completely repaint all of the trim, and fix some broken pieces. This would've been understandable but the sales folks agreed it was "incomplete" told us to get a quote about the paint and then literally never returned a phone call or text. For spending money so much money and to be completely radio silent after payment was so unprofessional. Especially in light of the random show ups when trying to sell us the windows. I suppose their loss because we are ready to do our other half now but since we can't get a call back we will be using someone else. read more

Salesman came to our door with his mask off trying to pitch "finding 1-2 houses in our neighborhood to be a model house." Uh huh. He wasn't socially distant and was trying to do a hard sell in the middle of a pandemic. At the very least have the decency to wear a mask and step back after you knock. We just finished our first week with our new Insignia windows and I just keep walking around my house, dazzled. The windows are gorgeous. They're triple paned. They have a UV coating so my furniture and carpeting won't get faded. There's no more dust, no more street noise, and I'm looking forward to lower heating and cooling bills in the future. Are new windows expensive? Yes, they are. But home building companies use the cheapest windows they can find, and the result is higher heating and cooling costs, faded carpets and furniture, and a whistling sound when the wind blows. If you have the original windows from when your home was built, it's time to think about new ones. Here's how we did it. Adam Switlick, from Apex Energy Solutions, showed us how the entire process works, from ordering to installation. He's a very knowledgeable, low pressure salesman. He has a great product and doesn't need to try and push it on you, so it's not stressful at all to meet with him. We decided we wanted to go ahead. We paid the deposit, and then refinanced our home and took out enough money to pay for the windows. Because of today's low interest rates, we ended up with a smaller monthly mortgage rate. So, a lower mortgage bill plus new windows? What a great result. (And interest rates aren't going to stay this low for long.) Our installers were also amazing. They showed up, took the old windows out, put the new ones in and then cleaned up every scrap of debris. They were courteous and professional and were always smiling. We Love our new insignia windows. The installers were very nice and were fast. They also cleaned up well when done. I have to be honest that I was expecting a little change in temperature in my daughters room, mainly because I am not sure it could be worse. Her room is like a sauna in the summer and frigid in the winter. She almost can't spend time in there. This is a review to provide feedback on Apex Energy Windows: Our house was built in 1994 and still had the builder's windows. We have vaulted ceilings and all of our bedrooms are upstairs. Therefore summers are pretty unbearable in the evening. Both my husband and I work and no one is home during the day. We put our air conditioning to 80 when we leave. Previously, when we would come home around 5:30 pm and everyone would headed to bed around 8:30-9am. Thr temperature in the house would be 78-79, only dropping 1-2 degrees in 3 hours. We got our Apex Windows July 18th. Now when we get home our house drops from 80 to 76 at least as soon as 1 hour! We were a bit sketchy on the fact that they were selling the windows by going door to door. However, we have been thinking about getting new windows for the past two years and having the sales rep catch us was perfect timing. Jake Schonhoft, Apex window rep, was professional and answered all of our questions. He also was extremely responsive when we asked questions. We were able to text him and within a few minutes no matter the day or time, he responded. My only concern was after we got our windows, we noticed a couple of anesthetic issues. Jake was great in noting all these but when the installer seemed to sluff them off as not being big deals. The fact that our neighbors noticed the anesthetic issues and could possibly be future clients is a big deal. All the anesthetic issues have been fixed but wanted to note that if you go with Apex they WILL fix anesthetic issues as well:) read more
