After having significant…read moredamage done to my vehicle at another shop when attempting to get an oil change done, Christian Brothers Automotive was caring and compassionate from the beginning. They were quick to assess the damage done and take pictures in order to document all that was wrong. When the owner of the other shop refused to take responsibility for the damages, Christian Brothers Automotive helped me to reach out to the owner and even offered for the other shop owner to view my car under their watchful eye! When that did not work and I was still deciding how to move forward, Christian Brothers Automotive offered to keep my car at their shop and every single night they locked the car inside their shop to ensure its safety. They continued to check in on my progress with no pressure to make any decisions and also continued to offer advice and assistance. This was above and beyond anything I expected. After my car sitting at Christian Brothers Automotive for 3 entire weeks, I finally made some progress with being able to figure out how to get the owner of the old shop to take some responsibility. While the matter is still being figured out, Christian Brothers Automotive fixed my car and even checked in a week later to ensure I was happy with the car and that it was running well. I have nothing but positive feedback for this amazing company and fantastic location! The location owner Paul clearly cares about maintaining an honest business in which individuals feel they are able to learn about what is going on with their cars and make informed decisions. And his service manager Joe is compassionate and provides assistance without even being asked. Finally, the mechanic Tony who fixed my car was informative and very efficient. They wanted to flush and seal and replace other item that was not requested and very much not necessary. I denied . Asked if my suspension was OK for upcoming trip. Got home there was no coolant in my reservoir !!! I would have driven around, thinking my car had extra fluid in the reservoir and did not. I put in a half a gallon of coolant that I happen to have at the house. Not to mention, I paid for two jugs of coolant. They did not mention the previous quote for work that I needed done on my engine at all. Everything else was fine, so they said. The courtesy ride was not offered with me until after I dropped my car off, and that was if they had time. This was my fourth time at this shop and I was really happy with them and how thorough they checked out my car. This time I felt like it was under a different management and the care previously was no longer. I put my faith and trust in your shop. While in another state visiting, I took my car to my brother, who is a licensed mechanic, and found two engine gasket leaks, and some issues with my suspension.

I had a lot of bad fortune with the car in the last year and got tricked by a mechanic before to dump money into it I didn't need to. I didn't realize this until Mukesh told me they had done not the best job and when they tell you to replace the shocks to be skeptical. Often I've found when you're a younger man with a Lexus even if it's an older one, the mechanic will try to charge you an arm and a leg. Not Mukesh. I had previously some rats get into the engine area and I took it to two different Car X places and they wouldn't help me, wasting my time telling me that it was hopeless without even looking at the car. Mukesh did the diagnostic and told me not to worry and identified clearly what the problems were and what I needed. He was able to identify through sound in the passenger side engine area that the water pump was not working properly and if that failed I could lose the engine. He also told me that at 120k you're supposed to replace the spark plugs and identified that one of my O2 sensors for the catalytic converter was not working. He did these three things and charged me a very reasonable price. He also came back to the shop in the evening on Saturday so I could pick up the car that day since I had to work 3-8pm. He used to work at a Toyota dealership so he knows older Toyotas, Lexuses, and Scions like the back of his hand. Excellent experience. Exactly what I was hoping for.

I wanted him to extend exhaust hangers on a muffler and slightly bend a muffler pipe by maybe 5 degrees. he said he wanted to mount the new muffler to the car to get the right fitment. I specifically told him I wanted to be able to switch my mufflers out so DO NOT weld the muffler in place. I come back 1.5hrs later and he hasn't extended the exhaust hanger, hasnt bent the muffler pipe and has welded the muffler in place. They didn't do the two modifications I wanted, and they did the one think I specifically told them no to do. They also disconnected the chassis brace that connects the frame to the subframe because they way they welded it now rattles on the brace (this is a safety issue). previously I was able to adjust this so it did t rattle, but because they welded it, it's no longer adjustable. Now I'm worse off than when I started before dealing with Eddie. I spoke with Eddie explaining how he did none of what I wanted and specifically did what I didn't want him to do. I asked for my money back and Eddie wasnt having none of that. This was 100% a rip off where Eddie cut corners, and did what he thought was easiest and fastest rather than what I told him and paid him to do. This is not an honest auto repair business and I would not trust them to work on my car at all.
