Now, just because my grandfather used them isn't reason enough for me, but once I started working in high school, I realized why granddad used them. First, the service is excellent. Many of the agents have been there for decades, so there's a sort of personal connection there that I just wouldn't get with an HR Block-type firm. And given that they're a Michigan institution, their first priority seems to be service, not jacking up prices so high that they put a large dent in your returns. The agent determines how much your return costs; after developing relationships with our agents over the years, the cost of our returns has gone down, not up! I guess it's this kind of ethic that keeps me coming back; they THANK me for coming back each year, not only verbally, but financially as well. That's reason enough for me!
