Coffee is solid here; I got a latte that lasted me through my whole road trip because it was so strong! I loved the hanging plants and ambience, and the service was friendly.

I absolutely adored this place…read more Drinks - I had the chance to try two different drinks on this visit. The first was an iced matcha with a little added blackberry. It was really smooth and a very nice quality. The second drink was an iced latte from their specialty menu that had been renamed for a special event I was attending. I loved the flavor of the coffee, so much so that I grabbed some of their beans to take home as well. Merch - There was a great selection of merch from the company and local artisans as well. The stickers and mucus has some really cool designs. Staff - the baristas were some of the nicest people. Not only were they slinging drinks and working the event, but they were just amazingly personable and kind to all of our group. Location - most importantly though was the stunning location. The furniture, decor, vibe and even the commitment to theme through the bathrooms was everything. Even the confessionals booth was just perfect. Overall it is definitely a visit, and I will be back.

I'm not a fan of milky or overly sweet lattes. Also ordered the blueberry muffin, which my 1 year old son devoured. Person taking orders was nice and helpful. The overall ambiance of this place seemed calm and like a chill spot to hang out on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely will be back when we are in the area! - small parking lot - paid street parking - clean bathrooms - plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - games, books, etc

My daughter and I spent the weekend here scouting for a place for her to live. We consider…read moreourselves to be well-educated in the coffee scene, and we have been all over the country, always seeking out cool beans and cool cafes in our travels. In short - this ain't the place. If it were possible to give ZERO stars I would have done that..... Asked for a half sweet vanilla cortado (my universal measuring gauge), and the total snob barista said "we don't do that....we put vanilla in lattes, but not cortados". I literally had eyes on the bottle of vanilla syrup over her left shoulder in the fridge, and she straight up refused to put it in my drink. My daughter asked "why is that", to which she rambled on about "ethical treatment of traditional presentation". Let's pause right here and ask.....what in the actual hell? And to top if off, she also refused to put honey (the choice I as the customer had to settle for) in my drink, instead serving a very watered-down version of what maybe was at one time honey on the side. And the "hot" drink? Luke warm at best. Traditional? Whatever. How about traditional customer service and friendliness? There are waaaay too many other cool coffee cafes in Nooga, serving waaay better coffee, to waste your time and your money investing in the "we don't compromise our values for what you want" mindset at Velo. Not a weird vibe - a cult vibe. Well, we ain't members, so we will definitely not return. We immediately left for Burlaep Coffee Roasters, and they saved the day. Go there instead. Every aspect of the business is far superior.

As I typically am not on this side of town, I went out of my way to find a new coffee house to try…read more Google identified several very quickly, but I wanted a spot that was not a chain, and not just a drive-thru option as for me, I want to sit, enjoy my coffee, relax a bit, or maybe do a bit of work. Grindhead is a funny little spot, directly behind a Dutch Brothers Coffee with a Caribbean/Pirate theme. So I walk in, and I hear from behind the coffee bar, Ahoy Matey to the sound of the Caribbean music playing in the background. The barista was friendly and helpful as we chatted a bit about the shop. I started with one of their seasonal offerings, an Eggnog Latte they called the Clipper. It was nice, but too sweet on the finish for me. That was on me for going that direction as I know the associated risk. Salt is a featured ingredient in a couple of their coffees, and as the barista had shared with me a recipe she makes at home that includes both salt and vanilla, I asked her to please whip up a latte to her home recipe.......now this was a real treat as the coffee, salt and vanilla worked in real harmony for a delightful drink. This shop is not really convenient for me as I have several good coffee house options in my own neighborhood, but I will be back, if nothing else I need to spend my dabloons.

My friend and I came here on a whim to check this place out. I haven't heard of this place before,…read moreit looks fairly new. This place is located in a plaza with a couple of other businesses so there's a bunch of parking. When we arrived, Bailey helped and picked drinks according to our taste. She's cheery and very friendly. I ordered some time of latte with Lavender and oat milk and my friend got the Crows Nest. I don't remember the name of what I got, but Bailey suggested my Lavender latte (with I think white chocolate?). It was some combination like that. Anyways, my drink was decent. This is a drink I normally get when I go to other coffee places. I love creamy oat milks and lattes, but this drink wasn't creamy enough for me. Also I felt like the lavender syrup was a little too sweet and potent. It overpowered the drink at times, it was just a little too sweet for me. I took a sip of my friend's Crows Nest and I was delighted upon first sip. It was delicious, not too sweet, and good. Maybe if I tried one of their chais or ordered that one, I would've had a better experience. There were so many good things about this place. I thought the coffee shop was cute with the pirate theme and decor. All the employees that we interacted with were wonderful. It's just my drink and the qualms I have with it. I'd come back to try their other drinks though.

Inside, is a small artisan coffee roaster who sells perfected coffee. The name, Belux represents owners' names, Ben and Lucy. They specialize in small batch ROASTING and PROPERLY BREWED COFFEE. They sell light to medium beans and serve ONLY coffee here...no food nor over sugared coffee disasters. I had a dopio and Ben kindly added a spoonful of foam for me. It was the most fragrant shot I've ever had. I fell in LOVE. Definitely the best coffee I've had in a couple of years! Belux speaks coffee. This is the only purist coffee retailer I'm aware of in Georgia and am so thankful, albeit 45 minutes drive. Also, they are the only one to offer Gesha outside of a special event. Belux is planning to open their second location in Roswell in July :-) MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!
