Let me begin by saying that if you're looking for a $2 cup of coffee, you're not going to find it here. It starts at $5 for a 12 oz pour. However, when you get this serious about coffee, it's like comparing Lipton tea to a specialty tea house. We tried a flight of three single origin coffees ($15) each with a unique flavor profile and all enjoyable. Ben gave us the run down of different processing types and a general education about coffee. Also, it turns out they have special events and happy hours. Looking forward to those. It was a nice, educational way to spend a small part of the afternoon with knowledgeable, friendly hosts. I wish I wasn't two bags into a coffee supply already, or I would have bought some on the spot. If you're serious about your coffee and next level, drop in and try the micro-lot, small batch roasting. Amazing. P.S. Please don't ask for cream and sugar. ;-)

Wow what a gem!! We stumbled upon this place while on our home hunting afternoon and are so thankful we did!! Great vibes, wonderfully friendly staff and incredible coffee! We tried the premium pour over and cold drip coffee and were amazed!! We will definitely be back :)

This artistic roaster shop has a very boutique feel. They offer about 10 or so varieties from Geisha to Blue Mountain to Indonesia S795, all roasted in small batches. I recommend doing the tasting. I did the siphon one. It was quite an experience! The tasting comes with 3 types of coffee. $10 goes toward your coffee bean purchase. The shop owners are very knowledgeable but not pushy. They made recommendations based on my taste profile. They are extremely patient. We spent 20 minutes just on analyzing which dripper would be best for me. I would continue to go back and get my coffee supplies there.

    Ethiopian Coffee is wow.

Belux has some of the best freshly roasted coffee beans around. This is not your grocery store or Starbucks coffee. This is single origin, small farm coffee. The beans are top quality. If you are a coffee nerd. Check them out.

First ever Yelp review... This place was amazing. Small batch roasting, very knowledgeable, and helpful owners/roasters!!! Planning on making their beans part of my regular rotation.

Easily the best latte I've ever had. Had no idea what this place was and just wanted some coffee on my lunch break and I was blown away.

I came in this morning and it was fully packed. The parking lot was busy, conversations filled the room, coffee was moving across the bar, and at 10 AM I'm hearing people order brisket pizza and brisket tacos because apparently Friday at Phoenix now means BBQ. The menu has expanded. The place is busier. But the important stuff hasn't changed. The coffee is still exceptional. The quality is still consistent. And this place still has that ability to make time feel a little less important. I've realized Phoenix has become my decompression station. Sometimes it's only 20 minutes--scroll through my phone, grab one of the National Geographic magazines they have lying around, or just sit with a great cup of coffee and take in the room. Whatever kind of day I walked in with, I usually leave feeling reset. Four months ago, I compared Phoenix to some of the great coffee experiences I've had elsewhere because I was trying to explain the feeling this place gives me. I don't think it needs the comparison anymore. Phoenix truly stands on its own. Great coffee isn't impossible to find. A place with soul is a lot harder. Happy three years, Phoenix. Please don't change.

I really wanted to like this place but I just didn't enjoy the drinks :/…read more The matcha-misu is a beautiful green but it was more milk and mascarpone than matcha. It was pretty disappointing, I hope they can improve or find a better matcha brand to serve. The ice to drink ratio was perfect but the drink needs more matcha!!! Figgy pudding was also not it unfortunately. The espresso tasted a little burnt and watery. I didn't taste much fig but I did notice it was flavored. It was just hard to distinguish the two. :( My barista was really nice so I added stars to that. I went through the drive through and it came out in about 8 minutes. I might come back to sit and drink again but I'm not sure I really wanted to like this place.

Their regular coffee is good (out of an extensive drink menu including seasonal specials) and they have a decent breakfast menu. I like the variety of seating in this coffeehouse. There's the main room with lots of tables, high-tops, and couch. I definitely appreciate that there's signage on some tables to mind your time of 2 hours if you're working there. There's also a separate sunny porch area that is much quieter than the main room. When the noise level inside got a little loud with music and typical coffeehouse chatter, I moved outside. You'll find plenty of outdoor seating. I just wish there was a little more shade. I came here to meet with friends on a Fri morning. Thankfully parking wasn't too much of an issue but I can see the small private lot being a challenge for large groups. I'm definitely a fan of the pretzel roll I ordered - contrary to its name, it looks like a nothing like a roll but more like a savory flattened croissant which had some slight amount of protein (can't remember if it was chicken or ham) inside. The coffee was good - I try not to be swayed by the beautiful trendy drinks most coffeehouses are serving. I'd certainly come back to this cafe if I were in the area.
