First of all, these are the prettiest pizzas I have ever seen. Truly a piece of art. My wife ordered a salad and my son and I ordered 3 pies. They are on the small side. The salad was excellent. To me the pizza tasted better the next day. They were good, flavorful, but I did not care for the crust. Probably because of the organic dough. I prefer to fold my pizza and maybe have a little grease dripping . I liked the Pork Carnitas Pizza the best. 12" pie with organic dough and organic tomato sauce. pizza cheese, pork carnitas, pineapple, red onion, cilantro, and fresh lime. The pizza is ok but not worthy of an apizza designation. It's more of an upscale little Caesar's. The restaurant is clean and well maintained it looked brand new. The owners and their children were there and they were very nice and friendly. The gentleman making the pizza was very proud of his pizza and took a moment to show it to me. We had two different types I loved the mushroom and potato pizza flavor but the crust was not good. There is no bubbly bits and it just seemed frozen cardboard-esque. Just had to try this new place for lunch. Plenty of close by parking in this large plaza. Bright and welcoming interior with new dining fixtures. Organic food item menu with fresh ingredients. The couple are French and eager to establish their business. We shared a small pizza with mushrooms. The oven promises 90 second pizza. Our pizza was pleasing to the eye and to the taste buds. We were heading to one of the stores in this plaza and decided to get lunch here first. The restaurant is in a strip on the north side near Sally's and a Chinese restaurant. There were no other customers when we came in. We were greeted warmly. After a conversation, we learned that she was originally from Nice, France. I got to use some of my college French, too. Xavier is her husband but he wasn't there at the time we stopped by. We were eating in and decided to share a margherita pizza with added mushrooms. We also each got a soda. The open room is bright white with a red balloon at each table. It's clean and new. When the pizza was ready, we were served everything at our table. There were no added condiments. Afterwards, I saw there were small packets of red peppers on the counter. The pizza was extremely thin. The mushroom pieces though sparse were real and precooked. The one pizza was big enough to share. I even had two slices left over to bring home for my breakfast the next day. 'Twas a quiet Friday night and I was searching google for somewhere to get take out, when I saw stellar ratings for a place called Apizza. Prices looked reasonable and their menu options had some unique pizza flavors, so my husband and I decided to give it a shot. We entered the restaurant- clean and tidy space with a few tables and simple decor- and were the only ones there. The husband and wife owners were very kind, and after seeing how much we were struggling to make a decision on which pizzas to order, offered to let us pick 2 different toppings to split the pizza...so....we ended up with 2 different split pizzas I felt bad that we were making things so complicated, but hey I couldn't pass up an opportunity to maximize tasting the menu. I ordered 1/2 carnitas (their twist on a Hawaiian pizza) and 1/2 forestière with sausage. My husband got a 1/2 Buffalo and 1/2 truffle pizza. They were all delicious, but the highlight was hands down the carnitas. I won't hesitate to order a whole pie of it next time. The pizza is thin with minimal to no crust, which I actually enjoyed as you get to have more toppings and less bread. I am only giving 4 stars because of the watermelon seltzer, which tasted artificial, compared to the raspberry one my hubby had. The establishment looked clean and minimalist. The owner is the nicest guy I've talked to a long time. He's making artisan pizzas (in his words, European French style). I did order the Italian sausage which comes with red peppers and other flavors and It was one of the best things I put in my mouth in a long time and I am a lifelong pizza lover. The crust is very thin but not like cracker crust pizza and the toppings are top shelf ingredients. The sauce had a little sweet bite to it which was delicious. Went to Apizza with my wife and 16 year old grandson, he ordered a chicken BBQ pizza . He said it was the best he has had.(he is from N.Y) so that says alot about how good it was. My wife and I had a Veggie pie the veggies were nice and fresh and it had a excellent flavor.They said that the yogurt was very good. I quess we will be going back again very soon. My husband and I decided to give this place a shot one day for a last minute dinner option with our one year old! We heard about this place a few times from some friends and family and were anxious to see their gluten free options! We decided to dine in and sit for about 30 minutes to just get out of the house for a while! We spoke to the owner, a woman, she was so kind, patient, and efficient. The restaurant was extremely well kept, wellcoming, and bright! I feel like the location isn't doing them justice, BUT, if you know it is there, you will go! They had high chairs as well for little ones which is an added bonus! I'm recently gluten free, so I was very curious to see their options and the owner took her time in explaining the gluten free options to me to make sure I was informed properly about what I'd be consuming. My husband isn't gluten free, but he chose a gluten free crust so we can share. He is looking forward to go back and try their regular crust as well. By far one of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever had. My husband is usually very picky, but he said for a gluten free pizza, it's not bad at all!!! The pizzas are on the smaller personal size side - which isn't terrible. So I like the idea that you can get two different pizzas and share them with someone, or just have enough for two meals, truthfully! They're not overly big, not too small either. I felt it was just right!!!The food service was quick. We ordered at the counter, sat at one of their tables, and the owner brought us our pizzas and drink! We tried the buffalo chicken pizza, and the supreme? It's the pizza with all the meats! We both were impressed. For a drink, we did one of their fizzy drinks which is seltzer and a flavor and it was refreshing!! Now, I will say, it is NOT authentic Italian New York style pizza. So if that's what you're looking for, don't come here. BUT, their pizzas are more of a specialty/creative type of pizza and it didn't disappoint. I can't wait to go back. I'm not sure why this place has so many 5 star reviews. Yes it is bright and clean, it's brand new. Servise is quick and cheerful since there's no customers in the place. The pizza is made with a precooked shells with toppings put on top. All that needs to be done is to warm it up so the cheese melts. And as others have said the toppings are sparse. The crust is like cardboard. Save yourself some money and go to the public's in the same plaza and get a frozen pie. It will definitely be better. read more
