Partnering with Chad from Elite was an outstanding experience! After a recent hail storm (June), I noticed a significant roof leak. After handling it the best I could, I began researching roofing companies that could come out to my home and investigate the cause, repair, plus evaluate my roof for any additional damage. The first company I met with did find the cause of the leak, said they fixed it, and claimed I needed a new roof. They then ghosted me and wouldn't respond to my messages asking what was next. I was then referred to Elite (and Chad) through family that had used Elite on multiple homes (two relations of my wife). I spoke to Chad the next day after texting him and explained the backstory. Chad took it upon himself to have one of the service team members come out to my house and check the previous company's "fix", as he was concerned that more storms were in the forecast. The following day, Alan came out and checked out my roof. After 25 minutes, he came back to my door to let me know he'd found the leak area (not fixed by the way) and had correctly fixed it for me. Alan even had photos on his phone to show me the issue and fix. Alan had also walked my roof and although I do have some hail strike damage, he did not feel it was sufficient enough for an insurance claim. But... he would share with Chad for a second review to make sure. Chad called me later that day and confirmed he agreed with Alan's assessment and that my roof does not require replacement at this time. To say I am floored by how swift and efficient Elite engaged with me would be an understatement! To top it all off, Chad would not hear of me paying for Alan's time or repair work. To me... this is the mark of an elite company (pun definitely intended)! I will (and have) recommended Elite Roofing and Solar to my friends and family and will be calling them first the next time I have concerns over my roof. Way to go Elite! Well-managed solar panel installation project. We had 14 American-made Silfab panels with Enphase microinverters installed on an existing Class 4 Decra metal shingle roof, one that many solar installers were unwilling (or unqualified) to handle. Project was completed on time and at an excellent price relative to the few bids we did receive. Great care was taken to avoid damaging the roof and in routing the cables through our attic to avoid unsightly external wiring. Close coordination was maintained with Xcel Energy and other parties to speed the permitting and commissioning of the system. Great communication with us throughout the process. Hats off to Keith, Larry, Robert and the rest of the Elite Solar team for truly a job well done. We are now producing power in line with the design basis and could not be happier with the result. We would highly recommend Elite Solar to anyone contemplating a solar project. read more

We hired Elite to fix a leak on a 3 story home near Cheesman Park that is listed on the historic registry. (It is beautiful inside.) There was a leak on the north side near the dormer. Upon inspection, the project manager suggested removing and replacing about a square of roofing and re-flash around the dormer. The previous owner had siliconed a lot of the penetrations, punctured some shingles, and not done a professional job. After the completing the work, and spending money fixing all the plaster damage caused by the leaks, it leaked again a few months later. Same spot. Elite returns, caulks some more, and it stays dry all during a hot dry summer. (It mainly leaks when it snows.) We repair the walls and ceilings again, and then, after 11 months, it leaks again, causing more damage. Frustrated, the project manager returns. He tears off the area they've been working on, and makes a horrible discovery. I've been a contractor in Denver since 1976, so I know things can be difficult and we were all very patient. However, I am posting this review to let everyone know that the original crew installed the roofing underlayment backwards. Yes, they started at the top and worked toward the bottom. The underlayment caught moisture, it didn't shed it. This is the exact opposite of they way it should have been installed. This is like, I don't know, installing a door or carpet upside down. Pretty ridiculous. Their roofing "technique" ruined several hundred dollars in repairs that had to be re-done. The office maintains they don't pay for those kinds of things. Since installing underlayment properly, it has not leaked. read more

The absolute best roofing company I hae ever used, and I have replaced my roof due to hail damage 3 times in the past 20 years. Cody was excellent to work with, fully explaining the process. There were a few minor hiccups like a window that was accidentally broken, but they fixed it quickly without a hassle. I was home when the inspector showed up and I asked him what he thought. He said "I've been doing this for a long time, and these guys really knew what they were doing". That comment by itself says that you can't go wrong with this company. read more

Phil Harris of CJ Roofing (an Elite company) was the contractor on our aging wood shake roof replacement. While we really love the natural architectural look of cedar shake shingles, we didn't care for all the downsides that come with it: poor fire, hail and wind ratings, higher insurance premiums, maintenance costs, etc. The roof was at the end of its life and it was time for a change. We decided to go with Cedur brand synthetic shake shingles due to their very natural appearance, nice shadow lines, 50-yr warranty and top fire, wind and hail ratings. Elite did a fantastic job installing them. Our roof has several complex "facets" with various pitches. We also spec'd in a 1" stagger for an appealing architectural appearance. This was not a simple job but Elite came through with flying colors! We were very impressed with the installation crew, their workmanship and attention to detail. At the end of the workday, they would make sure the site was cleaned up. Phil came by daily to ensure things were going well and that we were happy with the work. He also worked closely with the Cedur rep to ensure the work was being done to the manufacturer's specifications. There's a lot of horror stories out there about disreputable roofing companies. Our experience with Elite Roofing, Phil Harris and his crew couldn't have gone better. Just had our roof replaced with Elite. Roof was done back in the first part of Sept 2018. We just finished with them last week - Dec 21st 2018. The crew they sent out did not do a good job and damaged siding. They also sent a crew for gutters, they damaged our facia. Both the roof and gutters had items that had to be corrected as well as the damage they did to the house. We had to continually reach out to them to see where we were at, no one was good about communicating. It has taken 3 months to get repairs done for damage they did as well as to get items fixed that were not done correctly. In their defense, they have done the repairs. Not good quality of work on some but they are done. We did reach out to the owner of the company never spoke to him. I would not use Elite again or recommend them due to amount of time they took, damage they did and due to the caliber of contractors they use. Not a good experience at all! read more

If you need a roofing project done without the help of insurance start looking for companies and do your homework because it is a long process. *Home Advisor and *Angie's list gave us contacts and we would compare that to the *BBB website. We needed a company that would *take some money down and *finance the rest. We started looking for roofing companies at the end of July 2019 and it took us 3 months and 9 different Roofing companies to find a company that was willing to do our project. Our roof was 25+ years old and we had 2 layers that needed to be removed and brought to code, as well as proper roof ventilation so we needed a complete*re-roof. With Elite, the financing was easy we were able to do it right from home and we were approved within the matter of a few minutes. There are several repayment packages and they narrow them all down by how you are approved. Once you esign they get in touch with Elite and the process will begin. By the time we choose Elite, it was September and they had a 3 week wait, we were almost into the deep Fall and it was unusually snowy that early in the season, so our roof had to wait until Nov. 11th due to weather. Our contractor was so great right from the start. We received a *free estimate and he kept us updated on the schedule. We never felt *pressured and any questions we had, he was happy to get back to us QUICKLY, via text, email, phone calls and messages he made his points very clear. Everything that was quoted was true, no hidden fees or over charges. The only thing we had to do extra was replace our old gutters because they would not function right with the new roof install but he had an awesome gutter guy who didn't overcharge us at all. We were pleased from the beginning to the end of our project. Elite sent us step by step details of what we would expect and what we needed to do to prep for the install. The workers were professional and even considerate to the fact that I work at home. The clean up was like nothing had even happened and it took a total of about 3 days for delivery of materials, install of re-roof(including decking) and clean up of old roofing, wood, nails and old flashing and removal of old gutters. It took up to 5 hrs for gutter install (this was done the following Monday due to scheduling) but he was professional as well. We chose the 4 class impact hail resistant charcoal roof looks good and we are saving A LOT of money now with our homeowners insurance. I hope this review helps and if you choose Elite, I hope they treat you as well as they did our family. read more

Elite Roofing replaced my roof after the hail storm last year. I got 3 different quotes and theirs was very competitive. I choose to go with them because of the great customer service I received while working with Rick. He took care of working with my insurance company and keeping them updated on issues that came up requiring additional payment. I never had to follow up with the insurance company, they sent me a check for the full amount less my deductible when the work was done. The roof looks great! I am that guy who wants to do everything myself, but re-shingling the entire roof and replacing the gutters is beyond my ambition level. I obtained three bids after our June 2018 hailstorm and felt most comfortable with everything I heard from Elite's representative. I am truly particular about any work I do and the work of people I hire, so I was pleasantly surprised by the entire process and the outcome. No money up front and they obtained the necessary permits and dealt with my insurance when necessary. The office staff answered any other questions I had. As we all know the hail here in ColoRADo can take its toll on your roof. After being hounded by numerous roofing companies knocking on my door, leaving cards and coming across like a shady used car salesmen I decided to scour the internet for a reputable and honest company. With every turn I made on the web I just kept coming back to Elite because of the transparency and all the great feedback from previous customers. I decided to have Elite come out and look everything over and get a proposal. Rick Lemon showed up with nothing but the upmost professionalism you could ever ask for. Rick looked everything over, worked his magic and we received a proposal in a day or so. The numbers were right on point so we signed the contract and scheduled the job. When it comes to a project like this on my home I can be a little picky and Rick never flinched and continued to help us along the way with ever concern we had. I called Elite twice trying to get someone to come give me an estimate. Both times I was told that someone would call me within 24 hours to schedule a time. I never received a call. After I didn't the first time and I called back I was told by the same person that she didn't even have me I her system, so I thought it was just a mistake and tried them again, but I cannot excuse this twice. If you are too busy, please tell your customers you are or that it will be later that they will call you. That was three weeks ago and still no call. Just shows reliability to me and I don't trust someone on my roof who is unreliable. read more

We had hail damage that on our roof in Fort Collins and needed to get it repaired fast before we closed on our home that we sold. To make it a bit complicated, we did a short sale and Elite Roofing worked through all the red tape with the mortgage company, insurance company, city inspectors and worked with our real estate agents. I'll start with the good part: they got the job done in a reasonable amount of time -- roughly 8 hours time. The bad: - Kevin was late for the initial meeting by 30 min. I was willing to ignore this because he presented himself as a nice guy. Unfortunately being nice only goes so far. - Kevin never communicated when supplies would be delivered. I got back to my house and my driveway was filled, preventing me from being able to get in and out of my garage. - The workers did not nail down all of the shingles correctly and did not replace the gutter guards as they should. I had to put in a call to get this corrected. They told me they were headed over, then never showed up until the next day at 9am. - The workers left a large amount of trash and extra supplies on the side of our driveway. I told Kevin and he said he would get it taken care of. He never followed through until I sent him a text 6 days later requesting, once again, to remove the garbage and supplies. I could have thrown everything away myself but I wanted to ensure I was not being charged for the unused supplies. - They left large amounts of nails in our driveway after the work was completed. I noticed them thankfully before it became an issue of puncturing our car tires. - Kevin provided little to no communication after the work was finished about the city inspection and did not get it scheduled for over 2 weeks after the work was done, forcing us to leave a crappy taped document to our house. Overall, it was incredibly annoying and frustrating to hold Kevin and his team's hand through this process. Their work was pretty sloppy and felt rushed based on the lack of cleanup and communication. I'm not sure if he is just lazy or he has too many projects on his plate but I can definitely say I will be going with a different company for any future roofing needs. read more

I reached out to Elite Roofing for a roof quote for 4 units in a town home. First and foremost, they did not want to work with us without seeing our insurance estimates. We did not show them anything at this point, we were only interested in a quote. After a month into the process of getting a quote, I decided to go with another contractor as did my neighbors. My experience was not what I expected from a company like this. I think the slide/power point presentation you are made to sit through is VERY awkward and pointless. They are hard line sales people, so be ready. (My neighbors confirmed this as well.) The time to get a quote was around 3 - 4 weeks and required 4 different meetings. My original sales rep did not seem knowledgeable and then the second guy he brought on was too busy trying to fly his drone and show me his power point, the customer service went out the window. Ultimately, myself and my 3 neighbors all decided to pass on their high priced quote. read more

I met Walter cause he was a customer of mine at Lampert Hitch, we hit it off immediately we started talking about random things as he was waiting for his truck. and it came up that he worked at Elite Roofing, which was perfect because I was coming up on a year and I had to get it done... I had a few different roofers look at my roof and I just wasn't impressed. I scheduled the roof to be done and the day they did the roof their installers were great and when they finished the roof they cleaned up and everything was spotless.
