Lovely things. Too bad they don't honor gift certificates from a few years ago. I will not be back.

I've never met a Home Goods that I didn't like, until I visited this one!…read more Sure, it's huge and carries an extremely large amount of items for every single space inside and outside your home, but the customer service absolutely sucks! I was eye to eye with at least 6 employees and NONE of them spoke, offered assistance, or seemed to care about me being an actual paying customer. I guess discussing their happy hour plans was more important than assisting the customers. After I grabbed the items I wanted, I got in line. I saw that register one was open and didn't have any customers, so I proceeded to it. Instead of letting me know she wasn't open, I had to ask and the cashier said, "we are open, not ready for you yet." Rude and should've been handled much better, but whatever. I then head back to the line but another line opened up. As soon as I approach, the cashier said, "no, she's next!" Talking about the woman behind me. I said, "No! I'm next. I just went to register one and they're not open!" She apologized and said she thought I came the wrong way into the line. Now, why would I do that? I can clearly see where the line starts and ends and I clearly understand the concept of a line! That interaction was the icing on the cake. I won't be returning to this location. Home Goods in Rockville, do better!

This HomeGoods location is fantastic!…read more The store is overall clean and well organized. Everything is easy to locate and always has great finds and eclectic selections. And of course, HomeGoods always has excellent prices. Customer service was helpful, and mostly personable. But parking is a bit busy, even on a mid week, mid day visit. However, the parking lot is huge. This is my favorite location in the area! Highly recommend!

I never met a Container Store that I didn't like. I used to enjoy getting their huge plastic bags…read more They could fit a king sized comforter. They no longer carry plastic bags in Maryland. There are great blue shopping bags in a variety of sizes. The emphasis is mostly dorm rooms and getting a student organized. They still have the wonderful Elfa closet items and kitchen items. I love the office supplies (Dollar Tree also carries the zippered envelopes). There used to be a larger variety of tiny items that could hold earrings, pins or pills. Now the selection is limited. The front display areas still have creative items for storage or fun. If you need clear storage bins for shoes, clothes and other treasures, there are varied sized. The large bag on wheels is great for groceries or other shopping. There is something for everyone.

There is a lot of hype about Bed, Bath, and Beyond joining The Container Store, so I wanted to…read morecheck them out and see for myself. Truthfully, I didn't see any real difference in the store. Maybe, a few more sheet sets, but nothing earth shattering. I looked up Bed, Bath, and Beyond to see if I could get one of their famous coupons, but you have to spend over $100 to get one. Did I find what I wanted? Sort of...I was looking for an under the bead storage container. I found it. Is it worth a look... definitely...check them out. But, I will say they only had one person at the checkout line, so it took a while. We will see if anything changes during the fall holidays. I do wish The real Bed, Bath, and Beyond was back in business. It was more like Container Store with a twist. : )
