Overall, basic set up as other Lowe's that I've been to as it's always clean and organized. Sought assistance for an interior door handle and the associate was very helpful and knowledgeable as he was able to answer my questions and even help me locate the product I need! They always have a variety to choose from with different price points to accommodate any budget one may have.

I had a pretty rough day but they were so nice to my kid it really made the week end on a good note. I hope their supervisors know what great assets they are to the store. And it's not just once, those two employees are always amazing any time I go in there. The others are nice too but Marcy and Jesse make every customer feel like family.

Ordered a Masonite Door from Home Depot in May. It was a standard door. I was told that it would…read moretake 5 to 8 weeks for it to come in. After 6 weeks it did not come in. I was told that it would be 2 more weeks. They did not have the materials to make the door. 2 weeks go by don't have the glass to finish door. Call 2 weeks later, they say they have all the pieces and it will been in on next Masonite door truck. It did not come in. Called in last part of September, 3 months late, don't worry door is finished. Will be in next week. Called again, door is on truck, but due to HURRICANE IAN, it will be in next week. Called this week, no one knows where door is. Called Masonite yesterday, they did not know where door was and promised to call me back. They did not, called again today and they said door was picked up today and would be here next week. I had to tell my builder at least five times to change his schedule. I have asked to talk to the manager of the Blue Ridge HD at least three times. I finally got to talk to Anita, the customer service specialist today, and she said Sorry, I can't (want) do anything about it. You have to wait until the door comes in. CAUTION, Don't deal with HD. If you are truly a "DOER" go to Lowe's or your local building supply store where your business means something! IF you have to pay for something before you get it Beware!

Purchased a BBQ grill online including assembly. It was Friday. The online order showed I could…read morepick it up Monday. I called and asked if they could possibly assemble it Saturday. They said they would do their best to get that done. I received an email around 3 that it was ready to pick up. (I live outside their delivery area). The important take away for this story is: 1. I called the store and actually got to speak with a person. 2. They said they would do their best to get it assembled on Saturday even though the assembly team wouldn't be in until Monday. 3. They were courteous and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. ACE Hardware in Blue Ridge will get all my business in the future.

After catching up with Angie and Chester, I found it and was happy to pay $79.99 (marked on the shelf and with a tag on it)...went to check out and was told it was $99.99...someone I'd never seen in the 20 years shopping here (Eric the Red days). I pointed out the tag and all the girl had to say was "Sorry, inflation." Her attitude more than anything else prompted this review. I'll pay more and support local, but not for the attitude. FWIW - I ordered it online before leaving the parking lot for $69.99...no attitude either.

First it is locally owned, not a big box, so I love to support local anytime I can. Every time I have walked in there I have been greeted by at least two associates and when I tell them what I need they take me right to the aisle and show me the item. Outstanding Customer Service that is for sure. The price maybe a little higher than Wal Mart, but I am guaranteed to be able to find what I am looking for. The nearest Home Depot is some 30 miles away so this will be the place I shop when I need things. Store is always very clean when I have come into the store. They also have a Lumber yard attached I have not been in need of any lumber as of yet but I have a few projects coming up I will probably check them out on, especially if the pre-cut the lumber I need.
