I read all the reviews about the crappy customer service, but I said to myself maybe the owner realized he was driving business away so I called to get a quote for tint on my car. After I was quoted nearly $300.00 I was asked if I wanted to make an appointment. I politely declined. Whom ever I was on the phone with said, "So you don't want quality?" Again I was polite and said, Well I have had quality before, I just purchased another vehicle so I am shopping around. Person on phone: Yeah but how long ago was that? Me: In 2000. Person on phone: Well that was 16 years ago (sarcastic tone), you don't think the price of tint when up? Me: That might be the case but I'll keep looking. Person on phone: *hangs up* Now I'm looking at the phone disappointed in myself because I engaged in conversation even after I realized he wanted to have a debate about the fact I didn't want to make an appointment. This place has 2 1/2 stars for a reason. May go down after my review since the manager, Mark, is a rude a**. After reading other reviews I understand where they are coming from: A friend of mine recommended this place because they offer hand washes at a reasonable price. I decided to try them out 3/16/18. I spoke with Mark the previous day and scheduled an appointment for 8:15AM the following day. They open at 8AM, but I arrived 7:45AM. Although he quoted me the day before, when I got arrived, we went over prices for different services and cost for each service. Throughout conversation he was very short with me and I sensed a bit of an attitude, but tried to overlook it because I felt it was early and he probably wasn't a morning person. I tried to joke introducing my car as Roxy, which is what i named her, and start conversation with him but didn't feel a friendly or welcoming vibe back from him. Again, I looked past it because it was early in the morning and figured "morning grog". He then told me the guys who wash the cars don't come in until 9-9:15 so I wouldn't be able to start until then. A little inconvenience but took the opportunity to grab breakfast... when I came back I asked him a few more questions about services I may have wanted and with the same dry and blunt attitude he responded mostly advising "we don't do that" without explanation...... ok. Do the basic wash and interior clean guy. I'm good. There were a two other people he spoke with who were the opposite race as me(I'm african American)and I noticed he didn't have the same dry attitude with them... Now, I won't jump and play the race card, but I will say his attitude was different towards them. Vibes are real though. I texted my friend and told him my experience and told him I would give it three times before I decided not to spend my money with this company again. Mark helped me make my decision that day. When my car was finished, I paid and went to look at my car... There were still bulks of leaves built up between my window and windshield wipers which should have been cleaned while my car was being cleaned.... obviously. I began to move the leaves myself refraining from complaining since It didn't take much to remove the build up of leaves... Mark comes walking up while I'm removing the leaves and asks what's wrong. I told him the build up wasn't removed but I'll remove it. With an obvious attitude this time, he responds "Ummmm, do you mind not putting the leaves on my property?" Excuse me? You don't want me to put the leaves on the concrete ground you all wash the cars, people spit and where there are trees and bushes that shed leaves on your property??? I responded.. "Well, I figured it would've been cleaned with my cleaning instead of me having to do it myself". He turns around, throws his hand up, and responds AGAIN "We don't do that with a wash" and walks away........Oh! Ok... so you DONT entirely clean the exterior..... Just partially... ok Mark. Thank you for reassuring another dollar will never be spent here again you prick. After doin some research, there are plenty of places nearby who offer hand washes and detailing that charge the same prices. Eff Mark and his attitude. Notice you won't find too many pictures because the work is basic and the 1 or 2 you do see look basic as hell. Nothing spectacular about their work and customer service could really help boost business. Unfortunately it won't bc it's horrible as well. Find somewhere else to go where your hard earned dollar is appreciated. read more

This place upset me much I had to make sure my review was seen on BOTH of their yelp pages. Service is only as good as their customer service. My review goes as following: I came into this center on Veterans Day and have never encountered such rude and poor customer service in my life! There is a plethora of car washes in the Gwinnett County area so for such a small company to be so disgusting when dealing with customers is appalling. I hope they read this review and treat customers WAY better from here on out. I should've known not to attend because as soon as I pulled in the employees looked miserable. They were still polite and professional but when you're employees look so sad it is a DIRECT reflection on leadership. The rude, short, heavyset owner stated he would take care of my bill now in case it gets busy. I smiled and asked do you happen to offer any Veterans Day discount? (Long shot but why not ask right?) a simple "no ma'am we do not" would've sufficed. Did I receive that? No instead the disgruntled veteran stated "why would I?" He proceeded to shrug his shoulders and look in disgust stating, "if I was sent to war I would've went, so why offer a discount. For what?" He continues for a bit more then hands me my receipt and walks off! No thank you for at the very least paying $25 for a hand car wash! I'm sorry sir that you had a poor experience in your service and cannot seem to separate personal views and business but you don't treat fellow veterans or ANY customer in such a manner. I tipped the detailer who serviced my car well because it's not his fault one of his bosses lacks human decency skills, however I would NEVER, EVER return to this establish. Nor will I recommend it to ANY of my friends. I hope a lesson was learned after telling them my views in person and they will learn to treat others better. I'll give kudos to the co manager aka brother for listening to my complaint but of course his loyalty is to his family. Good luck fellow yelpers. read more

Dear hard working citizens of America, This is a PSA: Go elsewhere for a car wash! We all work hard for our money and this place seems to forget that. The owners are rude and/or racist. I'm still trying to determine which but the fact that I even have to decipher between two negative descriptions in 2016 is truly sad. If you're looking for a joyful experience DO NOT come here! Just drive past it and send Positive Vibes ASAP to the miserable owners and their employees too (poor things). Hopefully one day the owners will find JOY again or maybe remember why they wanted to "service" customers in the first place but until then steer clear of this establishment. This place was recommended to me by a friend and despite the reviews I decided to give it a try. The owner was polite until after I pointed out the poor service. I paid for a full service detailing including wax and leather treatment. My car was still dirty after being serviced. There were smudges on the exterior and the interior paneling had not been cleaned at all! What I received would not qualify for a basic wash. When I pointed this out the the owner Mark, he was dismissive and extremely rude. He also denied the car that was still dirty. He does not care about quality or customer service only getting your money. Please consider going anywhere else if you want a quality job and don't want to waste your money! read more

Not only did my tint peel on the front windows after a month but my rear electric sliding window completely malfunctioned and stopped working. Luckily for me, I am a mechanic, so I started inspecting the track and motor of the window and could clearly tell the window had been forced open by someone because the wire which drives the window open and closed was wrapped around the motor which is a major sign the window had been opened and closed by hand and not by the button. The only other people who have dealt with my rear sliding window besides me was Appearance Center Inc. and although I am no detective, it seems like they were the cause of this malfunction by ripping my window open and closed by hand to install the tint onto the windows. I knew it would be a waste of time trying to get Mark to own up to this mistake as I had no proof of my work being completed at his shop, since he runs his business on a cash-only, no receipt system to protect himself from mishaps such as mine. After doing some more research on tint shops in the area, I came upon a business named Mr. Tint. I contacted the gentleman who runs the establishment and told him my horror story with Appearance Center Inc., and he told me if I remove their film and get as much of the adhesive off as I can he will give me a better price. Unfortunately, I could only get a portion of the adhesive off myself and when I arrived at Mr. Tint, I figured he would charge me extra to get the remainder off. He did not do this but stuck to his word and his original price stating "it was no problem for him." He put my new tint on in a very timely manner and even gave me a receipt and let me pay with a card! I then began to pick his brain about tint to ensure that it was Mark and his tint crew's fault and not mine. I asked him if tint over tint is safe to do and he replied: "Yes, it is safe to do when done properly and I've never had a double layer of tint peel on me." This just confirmed to me that Mark has inexperienced employees working for him and, in fact, he was responsible for the tint peeling and did not want to take responsibility. After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars and months to achieve the look I wanted, I would highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere, where you can find a better price for a better-quality job. If you do go against this advice, I would highly recommend recording every phone call and in-person interaction with Mark and his team, so you have some sort of proof the work was done by this shop. If not, you will be lied to and taken advantage of for every penny, they can squeeze out of you. read more

No complains here. I made an appointment for 11 am the next day. I drove past the place at 10:45 to grab some snacks for the wait. I noticed that there was already a car in the tinting bay and was worried that I might have to wait. But, by the time I returned ten minutes later, the car was gone. That's just good timing right there! My car went into the bay right on time and I sat in the waiting area. I occasionally chatted with Mark Montag, whom I believe is part owner, about tint laws and other stuff. The tint was done within about + or - 10 minutes of when promised and it looked good. When Mark handed me my keys back he made sure to give me instructions to not roll he windows down for 2 days or clean them with ammonia based cleaner. read more

I agree with the other review.... The employees did an excellent job on my car, but the owner or the person in charge at the front desk was extremely rude, sarcastic, and money hungry. He doesn't care about making the customer happy. Customer service is everything in a business and if he keeps being like that he can lose clientele. read more
