I have a membership at the Ultra Car Wash on Pike St., Lawrenceville, but that is about to change. I have not been able to get my car washed in almost a week because they have been opening late. Their advertised business hours start at 8:00 am. I have been there several days over the last week between 8 and 8:30 and they are not open. This morning I attempted to pull in at 8:08, but the barricade was up keeping anyone from being able to pull in. It has been that way a lot lately. I am paying monthly for a car wash that I have been unable to access for almost a week. I called the customer service line and spoke to someone that was clearly in a call center who ensured me that they would be open during their regular business hours, no, they will not be. I am here and I can see. They offered to connect me directly to the location - yes, please! Voicemail. There was no one available to take me call. Of course not. Today was probably my 3rd visit to this location since I've moved in the area and this had to be the complete worst . I loved every other time that I have been so this was really shocking . The area manager (Austin) was very rude starting off and got upset when I wanted to do a basic wash . It really made the experience unwelcoming , however Austin was able to apologize afterwards (he did apologize in a very professional way) and that somewhat made me feel slightly inclined to come back . He did acknowledge that he was being rude and I appreciated that . If at all possible please (not for just me) but keep that same professional energy with all of your other customers because I do feel like I wouldn't have made such a lengthy review had the attitude been positive to begin with . I will return to this location, I'm just hoping the next visit is better . read more

Cute place to get your car cleaned but the cleaning isn't immaculate. I paid 12 dollars for tire shine, plus rain x and another extra I don't remember the name of and my car was still dirty after. I had to add extra tire shine to really notice a shine on my wheels. The service team was helpful so plus but besides the free vacuum, there aren't any perks. I could self clean my car for less than 12 dollars and it will come out better. Sooooo....overall this place does the job when you are too lazy to do so. read more

Her excuse was a sorry one, we don't have a contact for our customers.. my car was never really cleaned after a wash, smudges all over the place, and I come up here often. the only thing useful is the air compressor sprayer, so that I can properly dry my car as the "new" equipment does no better than the older. looks nice, but management is a con artist. I was signed on for 10.00 membership, and given the option to select "grandfathered 10.00" plan online, but what does the manager tell me? "oh just because you can select that option doesn't mean it's still available," WHAT? look at my payment history, you're losing a good customer and more to follow! will go elsewhere for better service imo read more

Avoid this place. Every few months they jack up the price so any membership charges will keep rising also. I went here to cancel my membership because it became ridiculously expensive. The kid working the front assured me he'd get it taken care of right away. I watched him go to a screen, pull up my name and press the cancel membership button. He told me everything was taken care of, he was nice about it. The next day my card was charged for another month's membership. I looked up this location online and found 3 different numbers. All 3 were disconnected. I had to drive up to the location again, the woman working there said they can't cancel membership at that location, I'd have to call to cancel. I told her all the numbers were disconnected, she gave me the secret number to call! 470-514-1400 I had to give my call back number to the automated phone system. 30 minutes later I got a call back. I was informed that they can't cancel my erroneous charge but they can still cancel my membership. I am forced to dispute the charge. How pathetic. Riddle me this...Why would I purchase the Father's Day Special for unlimited car washes if this location won't honor it? We have been to this location on many occasions and, for some reason, our barcode doesn't read. Strike 1. However, they usually look it up and pull us on through. Not today! Austin (who I assume was the closest thing to a manager they have at this location) couldn't find the barcode in their "system". Strike 2. Okay. So, I thought, no biggie cause I had the original receipt from the original purchase on my phone to show him. Was Austin moved to assist in earning our business today? Nope. He said that he looked it up by our phone number and couldn't find it. Now, I have a barcode AND the receipt which states that I paid for their unlimited special but what does Austin do? Makes us drive through the car wash without a wash and tells us to go to the Suwanee location instead. Strike 3. Which, I find out later, is NOT corporate policy for handling this type of situation anyway. Maybe someone needs some additional manager's training? Hmmmm... Everyone behind us - I apologize for this kid's ineptitude which caused the big backup. So, we go to Suwanee's location to sort this mess out. The barcode scans, we get the wash and then we go inside to speak to THEIR manager who said we WERE in the system (the same system that the Lawrenceville - THIS location -uses) and he easily found us by telephone number as well as barcode number. There was nothing to fix! Strike 4? Is there such a thing? Kudos to Suwanee but THIS location? Ridiculously horrible customer service with no common sense from Austin. But hey, if common sense were actually common... My husband will probably purchase another monthly service from you in the future (because he is not a petty man) but I have vowed to NEVER get MY car washed at ANY of your car washes - EVER. This is the worse place ever. I have been to this location twice and they both were horrible. Some of the staff were rude, argumentative, and are only willing to help the regular customers. This place does not provide the microfiber towels, only paper towels. This location has staff that have no customer service skills. One lady (Elizabeth, or Alyssa) told me that the customer is not always right. She yelled at my son who was in the vehicle behind me and did not apologize for yelling at him for him honking at me to get my attention. I informed her that was not honking at me for me to move up, and that he was trying to get my attention for another reason and she just walked away. She also informed me that I can leave and take my business elsewhere which what I did. This place is very unprofessional. Ultra car wash at the corner of sugarloaf and hwy 29 (Lawrenceville hwy). This car wash was a waste of money! At the other Ultra car wash locations, there is some one with a soapy brush to hit a few areas on my truck that the machine can't get to. This location did not. After coming out of the wash, there were only 6 spots "available" to vacuum. The place did not close for another hour and 30 min. The first vacuum I used had no suction. I looked inside of it and it was clogged up with trash, so had to move to another vacuum. There were no towels, only a huge roll of paper towels, that, unless you got a whole bunch the first time, you were continuously walking back and forth. No cleaner! Glass or multi surface. What were the paper towels for??? I will never go there again. It is the worst car wash I have ever been to! read more

I got locked out of my office and I didn't have my car keys either so I decided to walk to them to ask if I can wait here so I feel safer and not be out in the hot just for them to deny me. The wash ripped my tail light off the car. Been to many washes before and since no issue. When I complained they said since the car was 10 years old they weren't responsible and would not do anything to repair the damage. I filed a claim with their office only to be denied by the same manager that denied the responsibility that day. Truly unprofessional. DO NOT take your vehicle here! I wish I would have read the reviews before hand. The pictures below are true. This place caused major damage to the passenger side of my vehicle. I was asked to make a claim when I noticed the damage while vacuuming out my car. I was informed that the manage would investigate the matter and call me back within 24-48 hours. After contacting them to follow up with the claim, I received a call back from Austin (the manager on duty) stating "hi, we reviewed the tape regarding your vehicle and we're not covering the damages thank you and have a nice day". I questioned the recording reviewed and asked if I could also view the tapes as my vehicle did not have the damages prior to entering the car wash. I was told "you can take us to court if you'd like". I contacted the district manager Luis who stated the same. Needless to say I know this is any issue that car washes do not like to take the responsibility for but I would like to warn others! While waiting for the staff to take my information after the incident I watched as other people exited the car wash and brought to their attention marks on their vehicles as well. This company does not care about their customers and will not take the responsibility of damages caused! They will personally review their tapes, tell you that the angles are too far off to see any previous details of your vehicle therefore they are not responsible! read more

It's a standard self service car wash, but with a little extra. You make a choice at a touch screen and drive through the tunnel of wash. At the end you have a selection of vacuum spots to pull into to suck up all the dirt you keep ignoring in your carpet. All standard. But wait, there's more! You are usually greeted at the touchscreen by an employee who can help with your selection. If you want to return they have a frequent washer club that ranges from $10-$25 per month for unlimited washes. Why the range? You choose from a standard wash up to the deluxe which includes wax, tire shine and simonize. I'm 48 and still don't know what that means, but it must be nice. Add in they have free chamois towels to wipe down your car and a floor mat machine. It's a really good deal. Don't worry though. Let's start from the top, and work our way down. $10 per month = unlimited car washes Superb customer service Free: Vacuums, towels to wipe down your car I wont belabor the point of the unlimited washes other than to say I personally think you get a little bit more than what you pay for with that (and you can add, a la carte, upgrades for just the cost of the upgrade) Even if you don't want the unlimited, but need an emissions inspection, they'll cover you for $15 and then throw in two free washes. Strong deal there. There is room for improvement though, or, I suppose, user beware. Vacuums can go very limp if there's a full house, so if you want your interior clean, it may be best to avoid high volume days (Fri/sat). Sometimes customer service can try to take over at the kiosk or up sell you, which I understand the logic, but still, I sometimes just want to press the no upgrade button and get my free wash. But there are far more positives than negatives and I enjoy Ultra. Oh, don't forget to check in on the yelp app to get discounts on your car wash! read more

Overall this place is well worth going too. Just make sure too fold in your side mirrors and pull in your radio antenna because it can be a little rough . We recently moved here from Florida. We enrolled 2 cars in the unlimited club, had our emmisions done here and love it. the staff is courteous and helpful. the free towels are always available, the vacuum is a plus. i am always in and out. keeping cars clean in georgia is a task with all the pollen and the trees so joining a club like this has been awesome. the key to having a clean car is to wash it often. if you wait and let the pollen and other things affect the paint, dont expect to run through once and solve your problems. the club is the cost of 1 wash and i take each vehicle at least once a week to maintain the clean. great value, join the club! read more

I used the two free washes sent to me by the owner after my first review, and while there wasn't much improvement, I decided to give membership a second chance. What a mistake! Since the time I cancelled my membership, they had installed this new (apparently $40,000) barcode reader for members, instead of using the previous membership card swipe system. When the employee presented me with the barcode, I told her that maybe I probably shouldn't get a membership because I had no interest in putting a barcode on my windshield (Aren't people with car wash memberships a little particular about their vehicles and what we put on them?). She told me that I could just hold the barcode up to the windshield each time I went through the pay station. I told her I'd try it for a month, and would cancel after a month if it turned out to be too much of a pain. My next time I went to the car wash (my first time using the barcode), the guy at the pay station told me I had to put the sticker on my car. I told him that the employee that signed me up said that holding the sticker up was fine. I proceeded to the wash entrance after my barcode was read by the system, and the pay station attendant ran off to tell the manager I wasn't doing it the correct way. The manager came over to the wash entrance and told me that I either had to put the sticker on my car or cancel my membership. I explained to him that I was told I didn't have to put the barcode on my car by the employee who signed me up, and that I would then choose to cancel my membership and be refunded the difference (It was an $18 one-time wash and a $25 membership, so I felt entitled to my $7 refunded.). I was told that I would not get any money back because I used $18 the first time, $18 this time, and since that exceeded my $30 (?) membership, I would not get any money back. I told him I wanted my money back and I would turn away and not get the second wash. He then threatened to have the police called and they could have me removed without any refund. Here I am, a customer that has spent hundreds of dollars at this car wash, and I'm being threatened by having the cops called on me for being agitated and requesting a refund when I was misinformed about the product I initially purchased from an obviously, under-trained employee. How classy! I didn't back down and once again reiterated my point, and I even worked out the difficult 25-18=7 math for him. At that point, he told me to go park off to the side and he would get my refund. What a joke! The altercation ends with the resolution I initially suggested after he got the chance to play his "call the cops" card. I guess the young lady who initially sold me the new membership is not the only employee at that location that needs training. Also, if people are giving out $30 memberships, but charging the client only $25, I would think the owner would want to prevent that from happening going forward. Needless to say, the second chance the owner requested turned into a disaster. I do not recommend anyone getting their car washed at Ultra. While this second chance cost me $18 for one car wash, I feel that's a small price to pay for learning the true colors of a business. read more

My experience with this car wash was really good. I was assisted by an extremely helpful employee named Kelly. He washed my car after it had been egged, and managed to get it completely clean. He was really polite and helpful and smiled a lot. It was a very comfortable and easy experience compared to other car washes where the workers do a lazy job washing the car. I went to wash my car yesterday at Ultra car wash. I locked my keys in the car while I was vacuuming it out. The staff at Ultra car wash helped me out a lot. One young man let me use his cell phone to call someone to come meet me with a key. They kept checking on me to see if I needed anything while I waited. They were extremely nice and helpful.
