My friend lives across the street from Apple A Day, and she finally got to try it for the first time with me! It is fast casual, with open seating indoors and outdoors. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. There is a LOT on the menu, and it was hard choosing because I get indecisive when there's so many great options. They are vegetarian and vegan-friendly! I had the: - Waldorf Wrap: Baked chicken mixed with soy free vegenaise, walnuts and dried cranberries. The wrap is HUGE, enough for 2 meals and worth its value. The chicken is moist inside; I was happy with my food! It comes accompanied with, Vegetable Lentil soup... which was the BOMB!! Sooo yummy, I basically licked my bowl clean. My friend offered me some of her Tofu Pizza (Vegan): Ezekiel tortilla topped with turmeric seasoned tofu, red and green peppers, spinach, avocado and daiya vegan cheese. It's a really tasty alternative pizza. I thought the bread was really hard and it hurt to chew, but it tastes delicious! I also got an Immune Up Smoothie, which has Echinacea root, vitamin c boost, strawberries, banana, apple juice and ice. It comes in a big size for $6.50 and it's very refreshing. I suggest getting their smoothed because they are blended to order, as opposed to the pressed juices, which are pressed beforehand. Love love LOVE this place!! We were lucky to have this cafe located so close to our Airbnb during our recent trip to Miami. One of our friends on the trip has Celiac disease, and this cafe was so gluten free friendly! We ended up coming here three times during our two day trip! This is hands down the best juice bar/healthy food destination in south beach. They've got everything from fresh pressed juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, savory plates in forms of wrap, salads, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, toasts, soups, breakfast, you name it! There's even vegan/vegetarian options and local snacks to go. You can literally have whatever you like. My favorite part... they're open until 10pm! That's pretty late for a juice bar. Their kitchen is equipped with organic/locally grown ingredients and the wait time is always reasonable. My favorites that I always get is the grilled salmon bowl and peanut butter açaí bowl. The portion is enough for two meals, or one if you're absolutely starving after the gym. I usually get the açaí to go and enjoy on the beach. The honey they use is raw and the granola is the most delicious I've ever had in a bowl. They always cook their salmon just right, not overdone and well enough to reheat later if you have leftovers. The only thing I can say that I wasn't satisfied with was their shrimp tacos because the shrimp wasn't cooked well enough. Other than that, the quality of the shrimp was great. I spent a long extended weekend with my daughter who is vegan in a nearby condo. She really loved this place and I liked it a lot as well. They have many juice and smoothy options. They also offer a good selection of other vegan food items. We had some well put together breakfast burritos and breakfast specials here. They offer coffee and tea drinks as well. The service was especially friendly and courteous. The owner (must have been him) was great. There was plenty of seating options inside and even some limited outdoor seating area also. We went here 3 or 4 times so that is an endorsement in and of itself. I can definitely recommend Apple a Day. read more

Very chill and laid back vibe! Located in miami beach where acai bowls are offered in abundance in a close proximity. Choosing the best one can be difficult but if you stumble upon this review hopefully it can give you some insight! I got the Rio Acai and added strawberries! Very refreshing and it helped quench that thirst that you develop after spending a long day outdoors! The consistency of the acai was yummy! Ive had a lot of watered down acai bowls that are pretty devastating but this one is almost CREAMY. I believe they blend acai with banana to give it that whipped substance. The granola was really good too! It seems like they make it in house, ive never had granola like that. My cousin and I made the mistake of of each getting our own but we could have totally share! We both ate so much and were super stuff but each had at least more than half left. They bring out the acai in a sort of stainless steel bowl which i think helps to insulate and keep everything from melting which is a brilliant idea! Melted acai bowls are a no no . I love this place! They have fresh pressed juices of all different kinds of flavors located on the side in a big fridge. They have the ingredients listed on each bottle so you know what you're getting. Not only do they have juices but they have smoothies too. They also have protein bars, cookies and other small sweets for sale located near the register. In case you want to take home something small home. My FAVORITES are the Pitaya acai bowl which has coconut, honey and bananas in it yumm! You can always add in extras for a fee but the pitaya alone the way it comes is delicious. The pancakes are my favorite too! I usually put strawberries and bananas with walnuts on top. The pancakes are not too heavy and you can just taste that its super healthy for you and man....I'm just craving them so bad now! Overall, I really enjoy this place. I posted a review a few days ago and took it down because I was promised a call from the owner of Apple A Day today. It actually blows my mind that an owner of an establishment cares so little about how his business is operating that he would neglect to pick up his phone for a few minutes to address the issue. I was assured by an employee he would call but no dice. I loved Apple A Day until I found out I was being cheated. On the plus side, they have a lot of really healthy options. On the negative side, they've lied to me and cheated me a few times now. After my workouts, I generally go to Apple A Day to get a smoothie and add pant protein. A few times they have forgotten to add the plant protein even though I've paid extra money for it. I've confronted them on this and they usually just add the protein and blend it again. This past Saturday, I ordered protein AND ginger with my smoothie. I noticed immediately that there was no ginger in the smoothie (very distinct taste) and took the smoothie back. They acknowledged that they messed up. Once they re-made the smoothie I noticed it definitely wasn't thick enough for them to have added two scoops of plant protein. I asked them if they forgot and they claimed they added it. The thing about protein powder is it also has a unmistakable grainy texture and always makes my stomach feel "full". This smoothie was basically juice. I understand that accidents happen but this accident seems to happen a lot and when I am in the store 4-5 times a week, it's pretty disappointing to me that they would ignore this request and then lie to my face about it. Now to say the restaurant itself isn't good would be a lie. It's pretty good quality juices and smoothies for a reasonable price. Most of the staff if pretty nice too! Seriously it used to be a pleasure going in because most of them are friendly and helpful! However, the fact that there are a few people who think it's okay to cheat people and the fact the owner could not take 2 seconds to pick up his phone and call me about an issue I had, says a lot. I ended up here solely because it was close to Trader Joe's, and I am SO happy I did! The options here for food and drink are plentiful, and everything we got was delicious. One of the best health cafes I've to. Everything I ordered was fresh and flavorful. Didn't taste like cardboard. I started with the carrot muffin. It was moist and loaded with carrots & raisins. Apple a day has been around forever. And they recently (well maybe a year ago) made some serious changes. It's nice inside and the staff is friendly. I drop in for pressed juice pretty often. But today I ordered on Eat24. My food arrived hot and early. It was so good! Much better than I ever remember Apple a day. What a disappointment. I live nearby and am always looking for good vegan food, so I tried a lentil soup and a cauliflower crust pizza with vegan cheese. Yuk. The lentil soup was watery and lacked flavor. It seemed that they may have just kept adding to the stock with more water and letting it overcook throughout the day. The cauliflower pizza was horrid. I've only had similar things a couple of times when out of desperation, I had a frozen supermarket cauliflower pizza, but this one was worse. Overall it was very disappointing. As for service, from the beginning it was not very friendly or helpful, but rather somewhat surly. I also found the place a bit grungy, and it seemed the windows had not been washed for monthsl I got the impression that they just didn't really care about atmosphere, service, or quality. There is an outside seating area with a few tables, inside there were no table due to the restrictions. It's a nice place to have a quick meal and chill.
