This restaurant has 2 locations in Fairmont and Morgantown and just opened this one in Spring Mills. It is perfect regional cuisine representing our area of Appalachia, WV and Western PA. The southern classics are there, chicken fried steak, fried chicken, etc. The Polish influence is here with cabbage rolls and other things. The Italian immigration is here with different pastas and WV's Iconic Pizza Roll. My experience was great. I had the Italian sampler with Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan. The parm was amazing. The Lasagna was good. My wife had the pepperoni roll and this is a good time to mention the portions were very generous. This was a knife and fork Pepperoni Roll. She loved it. The place was clean and new and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The manager was running food out and checking on people, which I greatly respect. We loved it and will certainly be back. Areas for work: they need blinds but said they are already ordered, the lasagna needs salt and the noodles in it come off overly cooked, attention to not leaving empty dishes on the table. That is it though. Great Place!

After eating! We forgot to take pics of food! Yum!

Good breakfast, best BLT in the area, friendly staff and boxes of delicious, broken cookies to go. Berry pie outstanding. Bright and cheery.

Carmel latte is okay, but the rocky road cupcake was flat out bad. Cupcake was old, overcooked, and dry.

I'm not usually a huge ice cream person, but it felt like the perfect way to honor her. The shop itself was bright, clean, and welcoming, with several people already enjoying their treats. We grabbed a high table by the front window, which made for some great people-watching while we indulged. The menu immediately caught my eye. The range of flavors wasn't just broad--it was creative, unique, and full of options you don't see every day. That foodie spark kicked in, and I knew I had to go with a flight so I could taste a few. (Brilliant idea, by the way--four little cups of different flavors!) Our picks were: Grilled Lime Burnt Honey Crunchy PB Jelly Espresso Mascarpone Lemon Biscotti Brown Butter Pecan & Praline Each scoop came with a color-changing spoon (such a fun touch), and every flavor was creamy, consistent in texture, and absolutely delicious. My favorites were a tie between the Espresso Mascarpone (though I think it could stand strong without the lemon biscotti) and the Brown Butter Pecan & Praline. The Grilled Lime Burnt Honey was bright and unique, and the Crunchy PB Jelly was tasty but leaned a bit sweet for me. Overall, this was some of the best ice cream I've had--flavorful, high-quality, and true to its name. Add in the kind, helpful staff and the clean, cozy atmosphere, and it made for a really special stop. I left not just with a happy palate, but also with a new tradition: every year on August 22, I'll seek out a new ice cream spot in honor of my grandma. Amy & Alex's was the perfect place to start.
