Gave this place a go for dinner tonight. Overall, its a solid spot with a ton of options. I got the classic chicken finger plate which did not disappoint. Impressive dessert selection!!! Carmel latte is okay, but the rocky road cupcake was flat out bad. Cupcake was old, overcooked, and dry.

This restaurant has 2 locations in Fairmont and Morgantown and just opened this one in Spring Mills. It is perfect regional cuisine representing our area of Appalachia, WV and Western PA. The southern classics are there, chicken fried steak, fried chicken, etc. The Polish influence is here with cabbage rolls and other things. The Italian immigration is here with different pastas and WV's Iconic Pizza Roll. My experience was great. I had the Italian sampler with Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan. The parm was amazing. The Lasagna was good. My wife had the pepperoni roll and this is a good time to mention the portions were very generous. This was a knife and fork Pepperoni Roll. She loved it. The place was clean and new and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The manager was running food out and checking on people, which I greatly respect. We loved it and will certainly be back. Areas for work: they need blinds but said they are already ordered, the lasagna needs salt and the noodles in it come off overly cooked, attention to not leaving empty dishes on the table. I've been twice now. First time I ordered the ham sandwich with mashed potatoes & green beans. All were DELICIOUS, BUT LUKE WARM at most. A friend ordered the chicken noodle soup -- but it was also luke warm & had a distinct lemon flavor that made it taste a tad sour & more like a Greek chicken lemon soup. The second visit I had the cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes & green beans. Again, the food LUKE WARM -- except for the green beans, which were piping hot! The cabbage rolls were not good in my opinion. The tomato & kraut sauce overtook the plate -- hiding the extremely small & bland rice and burger mixture within the cabbage rolls. I really want to like this place, and will likely give it one more try -- likely for breakfast. I would definitely order the sandwich again, but not the cabbage rolls. Fingers crossed our third visit is a better experience and our food is hot! read more

Husband 's chicken noodle soup was lukewarm . . The grilled chicken on my salad was frozen not fresh grilled (barely) warmed up ! The bakery cookies must all be made from one batter and other flavors added . Fast food disaster . read more

We had the best lunch. Big cheeseburger and a Very authentic New York Reuben. We will definitely be back. Service was great. Beautiful restaurant! Glad they opened here. We will be regulars. read more

Cookies are great Cinnamon rolls are moist but there is a very small amount of cinnamon. You can't taste cinnamon at all so it is a sweet roll. Disappointed and threw most of it away. Service is good and a cozy environment. read more

Very underwhelming I did not enjoy my burger :( my girlfriend did not enjoy her cookies either.

I really wanted to like the food but it's kind of meh. Hamburger was $14.95 and flavorful due to a lot of seasoning but medium cook came to table well done and not like a fresh hamburger patty. It was too pressed and uniform like a patty that would come in package at grocery store. Paid $1.25 extra for onion rings that were not even warm when they arrived. Fried chicken $17.95 was so-so, mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy were excellent. Cookies are very good but cupcakes are not any better than box cake and icing was way too sweet. read more

Amazing , flavorful foods! Not only are the baked goods tasty but the meals are wonderful from cabbage rolls to chicken pot pie and fried chicken. Fried fish is good and crunchy as well. How to start. I ordered chicken in gravy on biscuits. It was like slop over a form of what they consider biscuits. There was no taste. My mother had a simple BLT. The bacon was limp. I don't like the cookies. They are thick but it's not like biting into a soft cookie. The dough is hard to describe. Some of the sweets looked good though. First off, the hostess and hosts were amazing. If I had to guess, they were probably high school aged (16-19) kids. I came in requesting tables for a party of 16. The composure and attention to detail were highly exceptional. Very impressive. The menu was very diverse and had great selections. There were literally 8 different dishes I wanted to try. I went with the Philly w/onion rings. Very good. My girlfriend had the country fried steak w/mashed potatoes and green beans .It looked amazing. They have everything from entrees, sandwiches and salads. The dessert menu is also extensive between cookies, pies and cakes. The atmosphere was great. Not too loud especially with the restaurant being packed. This is a restaurant that is great for all ages. The prices are very fair and you get great value. Perfect family restaurant. Super excited that there's a new location that serves breakfast/lunch/dinner as well as all the baked goods they're known for. The weekly specials looked exciting and I'll definitely be back. I forgot to take pictures of our first meals. I had the apple glazed chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and my boyfriend had the all American omelet with toast and potatoes. It was fantastic! Nice new Resturant clean and bright. Liver and onions was fair, tender but had an odd taste like plastic. Sides were cold and rolls not fresh. Cookies not much taste at all . Really disappointed Maybe other things are better will try again. read more
