Full disclosure: My family and I have been living in Southern California for a little over ten years, so we are blessed with numerous and a variety of boba shops near us. My husband's cousin and family lives in WV, we were visiting for the week. They recommended this cafe. I can tell you from my SoCal experience that this cafe's drinks don't stand out in terms of flavor from what I've had back home, but I think it's a good enough cafe for this area. I thought their herbal jelly was actually good, although I wouldn't get their boba balls again. The employees were also nice. Their cups are sturdy enough to be washed and reused, and twice we got cute cat lids to go with it. I didn't like their matcha nor their taro drinks, but their coconut slushy with lychee poppers was delicious! read more

What a gem in Martinsburg! We stopped by on a Sunday after a sweltering July 4th. Returning from touring the roundhouse, our little rescue pup was suffering in the heat. The kind woman behind the counter let her seek shelter in the AC and even brought over fresh water. The Poke bowl, fresh lemonade, and rolled ice cream were perfect for a hot day exploring the area. This is a carry out spot so tasty food with fresh ingredients and some of the friendliest service in the area earns this adorable spot five stars. Cute place! My girls go for bubble tea; I go for cheesesteak egg rolls. The seating is pretty limited, but we've only had issues finding a spot on Saturday afternoon. It can take a while to get your food, so I recommend ordering my phone ahead of time. read more

This is a great little cafe in downtown Martinsburg and is open on Sunday. It was a hot morning and the bubble tea and smoothies were the perfect refreshment. The menu has some appealing food options too but we didn't try any of those yet. There was both indoor and outdoor seating available. Service was friendly and helpful. Upon entering, guests are greeted with an unpleasant odor - reminiscent of a poorly ventilated deep frier. Ugh. Staff was very rude. Maybe you're having a bad day? Sweet Hut Cafe has the best poke bowls in the area. Also, the staff is welcoming and has never messed up my order. Cute place! The staff was friendly and helpful, the bubble tea good. My only complaint is that they don't offer WiFi... which I think is a little weird for a place that labels itself a "cafe". I was hoping to use this as a place to study (and therefore buy their bubble tea, poke bowls, etc), but since they don't offer WiFi then there's really no way to do that. Seems to me like they're missing out on some business among students and working professionals by not offering internet. read more

Boba drinks are pretty bland but still good. My kids seemed to enjoy the food and the staff is very friendly.

I think this may be one of the best places for a laid back meal in Martinsburg. They get your food out right away, and it's just as advertised. I came with a friend, she was already in love with the place and wanted me to try it out. I did a make your own bowl. Shrimp on greens with seaweed salad and all kinda other stuff. They have a ton of options so you're sure to get exactly what you want. The man who was working also looked out for customers who were about to get a parking ticket which i thought was sweet. It's great to have poke bowls and bubble tea in this area. I've enjoyed everything I've tried, such as honeydew and mango bubble teas. They are kind of creamy even without milk which is fine with me but not for everyone. I tried whichever poke bowl has cilantro in it. It was fresh and perfect. Recently my husband (that hates eating out and always has a complaint when we do) and I had the steak and cheese egg rolls and sweet potato fries. They were so amazing and filling. It sounds like an appetizer but we actually had leftovers. It was fine out of the toaster oven later that day. I'm really happy we went and happy my husband was impressed for once. Had lunch here today. Ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke and crispy chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Delicious. I will definitely eat here again. The service was friendly and attentive. We use to love this place. Drinks are not consistent at all. A lot of new staff who simply take forever to make a drink then it's wrong. Then to boot you have a lady at the register who is rude! When we are spending almost 50 on drinks would it be to much to ask for customer service? So sad to see this place going downhill. read more

Great new place. Wife and son loved their poke bowls, such a great serving size! I got a sandwich and fries which also hit the spot. Prices were more than fair for what you get, and the ice cream rolls at the end were awesome. An oasis in Martinsburg! I had no idea that such a place existed out here but I was pleasantly surprised. So many flavors of bubble tea and poppers. Do not order their Poke. It's literally all rice they put maybe 1oz of fish. It was the saddest bowl I ever got. Like you should just call it a rice bowl because the amount of fish that was served was pathetic. read more
