First, I spotted the poppy hot dog rolls. Then the bright green relish. Wow, guess what I'm fixing for dinner? I took my merchandise up to the register and the clerk (who was super friendly) said "I am just unpacking the hot peppers. Would you like a jar?" YESSSS. And then I asked about the dogs and, sure enough, she had the Viennas. This place is incredible. They carry local and regional items. They have some fresh produce (I picked up fresh corn and local strawberries). They carry assorted local jellies, pickled items, pastries and noodles. A local Amish bakery provides breads and pastries. I also grabbed a fresh apple cider slushy (for only $1.49). They also carry some local meats (frozen). In an adjacent building, there is a beautiful collection of annuals and vegetable plants. The plants looked healthy, but I did not pick up any today. There was patio furniture and colorful garden decor also. The people are just down-to-earth friendly. The clerk even gave my dog a treat. This will be a regular stop on my Noblesville circuit.

But to find it, I had to do a bit of looking and on the way to the airport , made my driver, Nathan, stop so that i could buy some (along with beans). They have many other items, some of them local, from the pumpkins (can't carry those in a suitcase alas) to sweet pepers and a lot of other tasty delights which are NOT made locally. they are only open until Oct 31, so plan on getting there before Halloween. Not to be missed.

They have strawberries, red raspberries, asparagus, pumpkins, grapes and sunflowers, depending on the time of the year. They are very active on social media, so they keep followers up-to-date on the status of their crops and seasons. They have a shop where you will find pre-picked crops, fudge, ice cream, pies, muffin and bread mixes, peanut butters, snack mix, jams/preserves, popcorn, aprons and sauces. In addition to the crop that you could also pick your self, they have seasonal items that they bring in that include tomatoes, black raspberries, and peaches. It is a neat little shop and the staff is very friendly. You will find rockers and a table and chairs in the front of the shop and some tables and chairs on the side, where you can sit and eat. There is a winery in the front of the farm's grounds, but I did not check it out. I was on a mission to get some black raspberries. I also ended of getting a slice of the berry pie, which was delicious. I highly recommend getting some of their pies. You will not regret it. The black raspberries were ok. They were a little bitter than what I was expecting and as compared to the red variety. Now if you are expecting super low prices because you are buying direct, I found that shopping here was not the case. You are getting freshness though and if you do pick your own, that is a cool experience as well. This is a neat little farm located near Westfield, about 35 minutes outside of the city.

An entrance and separate exit had been set up. The hanging baskets were affordable and gorgeous but I had already purchased my baskets. The annuals and perennials selection was limited but healthy and a nice variety. Once I went inside the stand I found prebagged greenbeans, tomatoes and new potatoes I had to take home with me. They were fresh and made for a nice summer meal. If you're in the area stop by and checkout the selection. It's a short drive from Plainfield on US 40.

At the front of the store, when you enter by the produce, there are always fresh items on sale. If you sign up in their app for your phone, you can clip coupons and get even better deals. Many times the produce at the front of the store is cheaper than you can find at Meijer or Kroger. Right now, they have Florida strawberries for $1.50 with a clipped coupon, asparagus for $2.50 a pound, and cherry tomatoes for $1.50 a container. All of these prices beat Meijer.... I know, because I was just there! What I also like about Harvest Market is there are plenty of employees walking around the store and restocking items. It is always very easy to find someone to answer a question. This is unlike some grocery stores where you have to go to Customer Service to get any help and then wait in a line to reach the counter. Don't forget Harvest Market for your grocery needs!

Once you enter you are hit by a wave of chocolate goodness that honestly made my mouth salivate! They had a ton of options from chocolate covered marshmallows, pretzels, Oreos and various candies all dipped or coated in chocolate. We browsed a bit and then the very friendly staff helped us with options. We bought a pound of the covered ones and got a huge assortment which come in both dark and milk chocolate. The amazing thing too is that they hand dip everything! It is a family owned spot that has been around forever, so they know their chocolate! Biting into the cream filled center my first thought was that this chocolate was amazing, and super thick. They did not skimp on the coating which I so appreciate. The filling was plenty and you almost didn't have to eat more than one to feel full, they were that full of taste. Delicious! If you are out this way check them out as you won't find this kind of chocolate store anywhere else close by for sure!
