This past Saturday they had another event day. Safety Day!! I heard that it ended up with a lot more vendors than I would have expected. So I went. I visited every booth and even got a free pair of swim goggles, a pencil sharpener in the shape of a fire extinguisher, and other great stuff. I recorded their rescue demo from a multi-story building. The firefighter landed with the rescued man through a window onto an air mattress. I went to a trailer to learn about prevention of home fires and how to signal for help from an upper floor. I have a video of me breaking a board with the foot! Moreover, an organization was offering free hot pancakes with 2% real maple syrup, butter, and mini bottled water. What a tasty treat as I have not had pancakes in a long time! This trip at the market and after learning about their process, I bought a $2 yellow squash from a vendor who uses essential oils to distract inserts/bugs and their own animals' waste as fertilizer. I will taste to determine if similar to other growers. Also, I bought again the $14 (6) frozen chicken eggrolls. I air fried one upon arriving at home. Yummy! Another new and happening morning! Very educational.

Went here for the first time on a Saturday morning. My husband and I took our new pup and we enjoyed walking around with her and hanging out on the grass. Overall the market was just ok. I was disappointed by the lack of vendors selling fresh produce. Despite this, people were mostly friendly, it was a good crowd and plenty of space to just hang out. We also found street pretty easy and not too far from the market.

These are $1 Market Bucks, they never expire. Usually they also some type of free shopping bag too.

IT'S BACK That's right it is May 6th and the farmers, vendors, well-behaved dogs and their humans are here. The food trucks are here, the usual suspects--Rose & Lois' coffee & Bearded Bagel & Samara--with that gigantic breakfast burrito (don't worry, the EMTs are here too). In 2022 this market ranked 6th in Indiana. This year, the city is definitely reaching for Top 5. For the final hour beautiful music filled the air. Initially, I thought it was flute. Upon closer inspection it was a reed instrument amplified throughout the green space. The music, happy people, animated dogs, low clouds giving way to sun made the morning surreal. Chamber of Commerce experience for the introductory market of the season! Most vendors accept cards and a few only use "market bucks" pick them up at the Fishers Parks tent. If you can't visit the Fishers Farmers Market, support one near you!

Clean, dog friendly farmers market with great bathrooms. There is a splash pad for kids, lots of open lawn, and usually live music playing. I absolutely love the açaí bowls and bbq pork skewers! Ash and Elm has been selling 4 pack of their top selling and seasonal ciders here as well. I recommend coming early to beat the crowd and the heat!

Is there anything better than spending your Saturday morning at a farmers market?! I had a blast roaming between new-to-me stalls and discovering wonderful local businesses. Some of my favorites included: + Groomsville Popcorn salted popcorn + We Guac Your World guacamole + Rare Brew sparkling tea on tap and loose-leaf tea + 317 Juicery cold pressed juices + Sweets Bri Brazilian bite-size truffles + The Kafe veggie hand pie + Circle Bev kombucha + Samano's food truck + Rose & Lois coffee truck + Twenty Two Juicery acai bowls + Walking Waffles sugared waffles + YAY! Donuts with some amazing-smelling donut holes + And so much more There were big fountains in the middle that kids were having a blast running through. I also loved how spread out the tents were, which allowed for plenty of room for guests. A volunteer also gave us reusable tote bags to carry our purchases, which was super helpful. I had a blast and will be back!

Late post from the summer. This farmers market is only 10 minutes away from me so really convenient. Decent variety in vendors but I was hoping for more fresh produce, only saw 1 or 2 stalls. Unfortunately the parking situation is a bit annoying, it's all spread out and people don't seem to understand how to maneuver around the different lots and connecting roads. Definitely go before noon to avoid crowds.

Love the Fishers Farmers Market...can never get enough fresh locally grown produce options...excited for peaches and tomatoes soon! It was 90 degrees when we went on a Saturday morning and the Açaí bowl line was long but worth the wait.

A lovely farmers market! Had such a beautiful day to visit the market here. They have a number of vendors and food trucks. You can get produce, plants, bread, ready made food/desserts, coffee, dog treats. So many options! Highly recommend getting a waffle with all the delicious toppings!! There is a large green space in the center where people can sit at picnic tables or picnic. Dogs are welcome too. There were public restrooms that were inside and in great condition. Parking is free public parking all around the area. Was not hard for us to find parking but we were there before 10am.

I really liked how well placed each booth was at this market. You could easily walk from any direction and get to the main areas. I would recommend going earlier in the day because as they say, the early birds gets the worm. Definitely recommend this location compared to others.

I've been to a lot of farmer's markets and Fishers Farmers Market is definitely at the top of my list! Easy parking, a lot of different booths, and there is even a splash pad for the kids! One of my favorite booths is Gluten Free Creations! If you have to eat gluten free then you should definitely check it out. I love the cheese danish and pretzel sticks! Another one of my favorites is Fishers Flower Farms! They are fresh picked flowers and are beautiful! A ball glass jar is $20 and if you bring your jar back you get a $1 off! ALSO, my flowers last around 2 weeks! If you are free on a Saturday morning, definitely come check out this farmers market! So many options!

This is a pretty good market, there are a number of fresh and organic farmers with great seasonal produce. This year all the construction is picked up and the area is so nice. There's a big area with picnic tables to sit, with families playing games, live music and plenty of food. Of course Matoon egg rolls has a very long line, as does walking waffle but we had a great breakfast from 5280 Bistro. It's a food truck that parks at the market, they also serve food at MashCraft. Hubby had a brisket sandwich with egg and he is still talking about it on Sunday afternoon. I had the potatoes with bacon bits and egg which was really good and served hot which I love but it's always easy with outdoor food. The bearded baker is back with amazing bread, his signature bread is an amazing mix with a great flavor and good crumb. He was describing his cinnamon bread but I missed it as the person before me bought the last one. I do highly recommend stopping by on a Saturday morning, 8-12 noon in the main square of Fishers. There is plenty of parking now with the garages and on street parking.

Great farmers market with live music, plenty of lawn seating for a picnic, and a variety of vendors and food trucks. By 10am, the market was packed so I recommend going early. Parking is difficult but there is a garage and a lot that's typically more open all the way in the back.

I'm glad I finally made it to the Fisher's Farmer's Market. I've been wanting to go to the market, but just never made it out to Fishers. This is a beautiful layout on the grounds of Nickel Plate Amphitheater with plenty of vendors that range from restaurants to arts/crafts to local produce and coffee shops. The food truck selection was wonderful as well. There is also live music and entertainment for the kids. I like the market because there is something for everyone. The fresh local produce is terrific and the coffee vendors are worth coming to the market. It also gives me a chance to stock up on fruits and vegetables for the week, as well as eggs and dairy. It can be expensive if you buy enough stuff at the market, but it is fresh local organic food from Indiana, so you can't go wrong. Farmer's Markets are always a joy to partake, so I'm glad the Fishers Farmer's Market exists because it gives me something to look forward to every weekend. It is simply wonderful!

That being said, I never felt cramped or claustrophobic, even when surrounded by all the booths and food trucks. There's picnic tables and a field to relax and enjoy a snack, and there's a playground behind the market for the kids to blow off some steam. Every step of your Farmers Market journey is accompanied by live music, performed by a very talented duo. Everyone manning the booths were extremely polite and welcoming, and I made sure to try every free sample I was offered! We got some strawberry bread (an Amish Friendship Bread with strawberry purée and vanilla pudding) from the Amish County Dairy, and I also sampled the blueberry milk. (I know, it sounds weird, but it was delicious!) We were tempted to buy some fresh produce, but unfortunately I went food shopping earlier today and I didn't need to buy any more fruit! The Fishers Parks Department was advertising upcoming events in our area (Monsoon Madness is Saturday, July 22!) and offering free ice cream sandwiches!!! That's right. ICE CREAM SANDWICHES. For FREE!! What could be better than that? I cannot wait to come back to the Saxony Market!

Nothing incredibly inviting, honestly. We enjoyed some cotton candy, a Kona ice, and sampled some MLM products. There's a nice playground where the kiddos seem to be having a ball. I was disappointed in what I found, but will try again before it closes at the end of September.

I anticipated being the only person walking around the market while all the vendors stared at me, but no. Lots of shoppers, lots of produce and bread and tea and honey and sweets and meats and goods, and lots of samples. What I love about farmers markets in general (and this one specifically) is that each person selling their goods is super excited to tell you all about them, how they made them or grew them, what to eat them with or how to use them. On this visit, I bought some tea from the Tarkington Tea booth, a boule of French bread from The Bearded Baker, honey sticks from Dragonwood Honey & Maple and a dried cow hoof for my doggie from Becker Farms. I was eyeing the pea shoots at another stall, but I'll have to come back and buy those another time -- the guy was busy and had a line of customers. This indoor farmers market is located at Roy G. Holland Park, in the community center just off the parking lot. It's nice and warm inside, so don't let the cold temps of winter deter you from visiting the farmers market!

We arrived ten minutes before opening to find a line of about 200 people waiting to enter. These people are serious shoppers that come equipped with carts, wagons and armfuls of bags. Seventy or so vendors are organized by produce, crafts, baked goods and prepared foods. Long lines of shoppers form quickly outside popular produce vendors, making it difficult to shop. The regulars know exactly where they want to go. If you see something you want, you need to buy it quickly or it's gone. The produce was locally grown and beautiful in most booths. Prices were high, in general, but shoppers were not deterred. I picked up some beautiful and reasonably priced eggplant. But I draw the line at $6 pints of cherry tomatoes. Several vendors were selling fresh baked goods. Bakeries from around central Indiana were present. I saw breads, muffins, cookies and more. I was intrigued by sourdough bread and bought a loaf. Music plays at a central location. Tables and chairs fill up quickly with coffee drinkers and people sampling the various food selections. We had trouble finding a seat to eat my breakfast pizza. People had dogs on leashes, lots of dogs. Personally, I prefer not to have dogs at the markets because they stick their noses in the food. Don't get me wrong, I'm a dog lover, but I leave mine at home. Parking fills quickly and we found backing out of our space to exit a challenge as cars kept coming. Some people park over in the mall parking and walk, which might be easier. I did not see rest rooms or other amenities. I think it's probably easier to shop after you have been a few times to the market and know exactly what you want. Bring a hand cart.
