Yesterday, 05/12/2026 I went to the Apple Store (Boca Raton Town Center Mall). It was very busy, I was planning to spend over $ 2,500.00 in new phones and other items plus I needed Apple Care Support for my damaged iPad Mini. The first green shirt guy was very dismissive an d pointed to Felipe. He said he was the guy to help me. I waited in line to talk to Felipe but when my turn came someone just stood in front of him and Felipe talked to her for a long time. Finally it was my turn, but Felipe was very busy so he made an appointment for me to comeback in 1 hour (5:00 PM). I went on to other errands and came back early at 4:30 PM. When I finally got his attention he told me it would be 20 minutes before he could see me. He went on to take care of a good looking woman as if I was not there. She did not have an appointment but she had a great figure. I think Felipe felt his time was better used helping the attractive woman. We waited for over 25 minutes at which time it was already passed my 5:00 PM appointment time do I told him I was leaving. At 5:55 PM I received a message that Felipe was ready to see me. This was almost an hour after my appointment time. Apple founder, Steve Job, must be turning in his grave every time an Apple employee treats a customer this way. As a Luxury brand Apple customer service sucks. I have invested through the years over US $ 50,000 on Apple products from their first iPod or their G3 Computer to an endless number of iPhones, iPads, MacBook Air, Apple Tower for my daughter's Photography business and IPad Pros for our Wellness Business. However, Apple does not track their loyal customers like other Luxury Brands do. As an example AMEX knows every time I call that I have been their Platinum customer for the last 40 years. Patel Phillip takes me to a special office and offers me Champagne while I wait for their sale associate to bring out the goods. Even My Subaru dealer knows me and goes out of its way to make me feel comfortable while I wait. The attitude at the Boca Raton store must be a reflection of a poor store manager or badly trained associates. Or even worse an example of how T Cook has lost control of the Company. I think his firing is well deserved as he has damaged the brand by allowing their customer service to fall into such level of disrepair. I will buy my wife's phone at the ATT store and make another appointment to get service for my iPad mini at this store. I dread the thought but that is what a monopoly comes down to. Treating your best loyal customers like cattle w/o regards for how much they have contributed to your bottom line. read more

One thing for sure is the large black stand alone A/C units at each of the four corners are cranking cold air into this place. Should I finally switch from an Android phone to an Apple? This is a difficult question that I have been pondering the last fifteen years. But those dreaded auto updates that screw with your apps - so not really sure. It is an absolute disgrace. I brought my phone in for repair back in November and was quoted $430--then heard nothing for two months. When they finally called, I went to the store only to be treated with disrespect. The manager mocked me, didn't even say goodbye, and worst of all... they couldn't even find my phone. Completely misplaced. In the end, they told me the repair would cost more than buying a new device. A total scandal. The lack of professionalism--especially in front of my daughter--was shocking. Stopped in to pick up my Apple Watch, and honestly, the experience was... fine. The customer service wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either -- just kind of indifferent, like they're running on autopilot. Nobody went out of their way, nobody really cared, and it felt more like a transaction than an experience. The upside? I was in and out quickly, which is all you really want sometimes. Apple doesn't have to do much these days beyond stocking the shelves -- the products sell themselves. I had an appointment for picking up my watch. I didn't have to wait in line, so they told me go to a certain table. There was one staff member waiting on 4 people who you didn't even know who or who didn't have appointments. In the past you checked in. Idk what happened as to what happened but it was ridiculous. As two of us were waiting in line this rude customer walked up and started yelling about what was going on... It was horrible. Finally one of the managers asked us if we were picking up....... No really So he helped both of us. We were out in 10 minutes. I went injure as Inhave many times before because my home screen on my iphone went black. First they did a hard restart (which Inhad already done) and it was ok! So I went for a coffee and then 30 minutes later it went black again. I went back and spoke to Meg who helped me! She said sometimes it's a software glitch so I put up a new picture of myself with my dog, Cami! BYW, Meg and I bonded over our dogs because her dog is so adorable too (I saw it on her home screen)! It was tough to get sales help today, we waited and waited with about 10 people passing us by. Finally somebody came over to help us, he started & then walked away. I needed to have diagnostics done for my generation 8 iPad here. I had an appointment and was taken pretty quickly. The store is always busy. It's best to have an appointment. Turns out I needed a new iPad. Since I didn't have my physical credit card on me, I had to order the new iPad online but within 1.5 hours, it was ready for me at the store. I came back when notified by text and a representative helped me to set it up properly. It was an assembly line of reps each helping one another and the customers. I came into this Apple store to buy a new watch. There was a lot of people so I thought I would have to wait a long time. We found a genius and were surprised that he paired me with someone right away. I got the watch I wanted and when it came time to pay, my card was declined. The genius told me that it happens very often and that my card will send me a text and I may have to call them. Long story short, it took me half hour on the phone with my cc company (my card has zero balance by the way, as I pay in full every month.) and in end I had to use another card. It was super frustrating. The girl was very cool about it, but she did say it happens a lot. It was very inconvenient. I think I'll stick to buying online. read more

Most of my experiences at the Apple Store have been very good. Today was an exception. My wife and I came to replace our iPads as they no longer were accepting updates to the operating system. We went to the Apple Store around 145 pm and told the associate at the door that we were looking to purchase iPads. He directed us to wait at the table at the left end with the iPads. We waited for over 15 minutes before anyone came to help us. While getting him the information he needed from the iPad was trading in, he went to the table next to us and helped that person for at least 5 minutes. Mind you it took me 30 seconds to get the information that he needed. Finally about 5 minutes later another sales associate who was helpful helped us evaluate which iPad we should purchase and was able to complete our order and helped us to migrate data from our old iPads to our new ones. read more

Sorry to give 1-star, but this is based on a recent interaction I had that was six bad advice I had my iCloud account locked out for days. Unnecessarily based on horrible advice and direction from one of the Apple employees. I cannot believe how bad the advice was. The greeter got me to where I needed to be to wait for someone to help me. I had the pleasure of having Rob assist with this purchase. He is knowledgeable and then some about Apple products. His first question was how the products are being used. This helped him find the right product to meet our needs and not sell us all the bells and whistles we did need. AVOID SHOPPING HERE! Terrible service! The manager was rude and yelled at me ordering me to go sit down! I greeted Mr cardoza remembering him from 2010 and told him I was there based on the Apple care advisor telling me that the store could process the replacement. I gave him the case #. I had a surprisingly good experience at this Apple store. I usually go to their store in Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, but when I went on line to make an appointment, there were much better (and earlier) options at this Boca Town Center store. I needed a new battery -- after mine kept dying way too soon -- it wouldn't hold a charge. When I got there early they had me wait 5 more minutes before my appointment before checking me in. No big deal. They did a diagnostic and said, "Yup. You need a new battery." I'd been hoping to get my problem solved in one day, but they were out of batteries for my ("old") iPhone 8. They were able to order one and said it should arrive in 3 to 5 business days. I got an order confirmation and instructions where to go in the store when I received a notice. I liked that I got emails in advance confirming my appointment, reminding me of it, confirming my work order, and finally an email saying the part had arrived. It came on the early end of the expected delivery window, happily. Today, I went back in to the store -- no appointment needed. They verified my ID and took my phone to be fixed. I was given a confirmation with times to expect it to be ready. Only a half hour. Woohoo! (I've waited 2+ hours in the past at another locale for the same service). Paid the amount originally quoted plus tax. Stayed a while at the store to charge up the new battery a bit. And done! I hope I don't have to go back soon... but I think I'd choose this location again (over Fort Lauderdale's). read more

After waiting about a half hour beyond my appointment time I met with an employee who had apparently been with them for 20 years. This was obvious because he was an expert in finding ways to deny service which Apple's website says they would provide free of charge, but then would try to get me to spend money on other items that could be repaired afterward suggesting they could fix the original issue while they do the paid-for repair. Upon returning home an rereading the Apple website I found out that the associate actually lied to me. He told me damage to the laptop would disqualify the service but it actually reads that "damage which may impair the service." It turned out the "damage" to the laptop was the exact thing they were suppose to be servicing. Don't expect your Apple products to be well engineered or last for very long. read more

Very bad experience today. My phone has had issues since I got it. It shuts off randomly and you can't get it turn back on for hours. So I'm stuck without a phone. On last visit I was told to get a new sim card. It did nothing Today rep pretended to help me and not understand me. He thinks it goes dead and it goes back on with i charge it. No. It goes blank while fully charged. His solution to every issue im having is I needed to update the phone. They no longer notify you of updates because according to him there are so many updates every day. I have a love hate relationship with Apple. I love the products and hate the price. I resisted as long as I could but I have a watch and the IPhone 8. There is nothing wrong with my phone, I just want the X. I tried to upgrade through my carrier T Mobile but they weren't willing to give me anything for my phone which is paid off. I saw an advertisement that Apple was willing to take my phone as a down payment for the new phone so off to the Boca Mall I went. The weekend is not the time to come. There are only two Apple stores in the area and with the incredible popularity of the products they are busy. I had three people ahead of me to even talk to an associate. While I waited I checked out the phones. One of the things I love about the Apple store is that they offer a lot of free classes so you can learn how to use their products. I am very interested in the photography class. Finally my turn came and I was offered $300 for my perfect condition IPhone 8 Plus. That would make the smaller sized XS $700. The salespeople were so busy that they weren't taking the time to make the sale. I need a little buttering up to part with $700. They could care less if you buy or not. PS my salesperson was Russell. So Apple people do I need the X or not? Do you have one? What is the best way to upgrade? Is the S significantly better than the R. The camera is important to me, is the upgrade significant?
