I live in Oklahoma and had been searching the internet for months looking for the perfect truck with the price, mileage, and options I wanted. I found it at Apple Northfield. I called and spoke to Bob Chevalier and he couldn't have been nicer. He answered all my questions and made me feel very at ease about this long distance purchase. 122.00 airline ticket and Bob sent someone to pick me up at the airport. I was concerned about getting all the way to Minnesota and not getting what was promised. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Finance was quick and easy. Bob knew I wasn't probably coming to Minn. to buy another vehicle, and word of mouth wouldn't be very helpful to friends and family because of the distance but he continues to go out of his way to follow through on some things we discussed he would do after the sale. I couldn't be happier with my experience and would recommend them to anyone! read more

We feel like we got scammed. We've bought all of our cars from them for like forever so we trusted them....they in turn screwed us over BIG time. We took in our Buick Enclave to be fixed and might as well have flushed 9,000.00 down the toilet. They did not honor their original quote to get the car back in working order . We paid more than the original quote to get it up and running....Apple did not diagnose the problems correctly the first time and kept repeatedly adding on thousands of dollars additional charges. After all this $$$$ the car broke down again in two weeks. Got quoted an extra 3000.00 plus. There comes a time where you need to cut your losses and we ended up selling it back to them and received their check for a lousy two thousand dollars. read more

Needed something extremely simple and received the price on the phone and it was not the price when I went in to get service. It wasn't a huge increase (about $40), but I'm on a budget and the reason I took it there was because it was cheapest, that's why I went through everything on the phone before scheduling. Was told the cashier didn't know and when I told them I spoke with the gentleman in the shop that asked the specifics of the vehicle and we went through the total, I was told "sorry you can take it elsewhere", which I did. I have never been here before so they could have definitely had returned business but chose not to. read more

While I've always been treated well at this dealership, not this time. I took my Yukon XL in for and oil change and tire rotation. I got it back 30 minutes later with a dash warning light saying my Tire Pressure Monitoring System needed service. I took it back in and had them check it. They tried to reset the tires sensors, but that didn't work. I was then told I needed new sensors at $90 each and $15 for the install. Being a mechanic I knew this wasn't right, how could they work one minute and 30 minutes later none of them worked. The next day I took the vehicle to Discount Tire who reset the sensors and explained why it didn't work for them. If the service person didn't know how to reset the sensors then he needs training, and if he did know then he was just trying to rip me off. I won't be back, if I have to check over their work. read more

Knowing you're going into the auto shop for a expensive repair is not my idea if a good time. Apple made it as painless as possible. They were ready to greet me by name for my appointment. I went into the waiting room which has plenty of comfortable seating, a large screen TV, and complimentary coffee and soda. When the repair took a bit longer than estimated, I was informed. At completion, I was given a complete explanation of the repair. I drove away happy with my air conditioning restored. Very pleased! read more

The sale went through without much problems, computer and printer glitches turned what should be 2 hours or less into nearly 4 hours. Dropped my car off after owning for 3 days for a special protection on the paint and windows, really wish someone would have mentioned they close 30 minutes after they said it may be done and did not call to let us know it was done. Thankfully a nice guy leaving work helped us get our new car back, Then less than 3 weeks after purchase I experience a glitch in the car (AWD shut off in the middle of driving and car had no gas power to go), something the dealership didn't explain and something that is not covered by the extended warranty I purchased through the dealership. Not happy that after 3 weeks of ownership it is costing me more than my monthly payment. read more

I took in my 2012 Ford Fussion for an oil change and was very satisfied. I bought the car from Apple a year ago and had been having the oil changed elsewhere. Apple Chev changed the oil and also the air filter free of charge. Thank you Apple. read more

We purchased a used car from this dealer. We do understand that used cars do have repairs that are not the dealers responsibility once the car has been purchased. That said, when a dealer advertises that a car has a feature we wanted and there were other similar cars with that feature selling for less money and with less miles. When questioned why that feature is not working the normal customer service approach would be to solve that problem and make the customer happy. This dealer was not taking that approach to resolve this issue and a few others we called them out on. We enjoyed the sales person we worked with but this dealer is doing the least they can to review a vehicle before they sell it to you. We just had a repair done and the trusted mechanic we have used informed us the wheels with new tires were very poorly installed and all four wheels had loose lug nut, bad rotors and bushings that were completely worn down. As a result of that poor service we received, we almost lost a wheel and damaged the car. Luckily were avoided that challenge but again the only thing this dealer did was to refer us to another dealer closer to our home and had no interest in resolving anything. Even after we contacted them they never responded with even a "sorry to hear what can we do to resolve the issues" They preferred to take the money and run. Never again with this dealer and I hope everyone has them do a complete mechanical inspection before they even consider a used car at this dealership ! I went to Apple Auto in Northfield originally just to test drive a few vehicles. I had a small idea of what payment amount I could afford, but that was about it. I gave my sales man Larry ideas of what kinds of cars I liked and he did the rest. We drove one used car that I really liked, and I asked him if he had any other ideas for me to try - he did. He got me into a brand new car through a leasing program, which was something I was interested in, but had never really considered. He really took the time and explained the pros and cons of a lease and made sure I understood it. I was so excited to leave the dealership with a brand new vehicle for around the same monthly payment as a used one. I will be going back to them again for all my future car purchases. read more

I took my truck in to get a heater switch replaced. Later in the day I got a call that my truck, with 45,000 miles, needed the back set of brake pads replaced. When I pick up my truck. I was given a bill for over $2,000 for the brakes. I then asked to see the old parts. No one could find them. The bill showed that they had to pull both back wheel axles to change the brake pads. I checked with other garages. None of the other garages pull the back axles to change brake pads. I will never go back to Apple Chevy again. read more

ZERO stars is not a choice. One of your serviceman had previously told us our tires (rear) were worn and starting to cup, explaining that's why our car shimmies @70mph. Since that day, we had a AAA serviceman check out our tires, he said (not knowing the above info) that they still have good life on them and when asked if they were cupping, he said 'NO, I don't see any cupping at all.' when I called your serviceman about possibly getting 2 new rear tires, your serviceman told me, no, we shouldn't do that, but should get 4 new tires! yeah, RRRRRRIIIIIGHT!! I said, why would I, when we just got 2 new front tires 6 months ago! He still insisted! WE are Seniors and will not trust you anymore! We USED to trust your servicemen. NEVER again, one deceit is all it takes to lose a customer, and we've been customers for 15 yrs. We no longer live in N'field, but come back to you for all our servicing from Bloomington b/c we trusted YOU. YOU LOSE US, most likely. TRUST is GONE, how can we know?!
