The Apple Domain store was filled with people yesterday, however, when I walked in an Apple Store representative immediately greeted me. I did not think my transaction would take long so, I parked in 15 minute parking near the store. I told the representative that I needed a charging unit for my phone along with a chord. She grabbed the two accessories in less than a minute. The only decision point was the length of the chord - 3 feet or 6 feet. I asked if the 6 feet chord was about my height. She said no taller than your height. Haha...ok you're right I'm 5'6". I paid for the two accessories and was out the store in about 5 minutes. Though the Apple Store is very busy...always, there process is super efficient. I happy to report that my phone is charging without over heating.

Word to the wise. If you are a walk in visit on an off day like Tuesday or Wednesday during the afternoon as you won't have to wait as long. The staff is very competent and friendly but this store can get pretty busy. I've bought an iPad here and it was smooth sailing. The nice thing about Apple stores is that you can expect the same level of service at each location. 8/10 Computers

Despite the tremendous number of people in the store the experience went smoothly. Went there to unlock a new laptop. Challenging a bit to figure out how to get help. Once I found a person with a red polo shirt, got logged into a queue and was directed to a specific seating area the estimated wait was supposed to be 30 minutes. Once a staff member approached me the problem was solved in almost 30 minutes. Parking is in various garages and is very challenging at this location which is in a very popular upscale outdoor shopping center. Go at an off time for the sake of parking and be prepared to walk.

Yes I know thats the wrong Hub, but it works and was 50% off on Amazon.

Of course if you have been you've been....The service is near flawless...purchased my first ever Mac Mini (Amazing machine by the way)...ordered on line walked in and up to the counter...within minutes I was out the door with my purchase...Im truly a "on a mission" shopper...I don't browse...I order/see what I need and get what I want. This store is a perfect scenario for me.

I still can't believe it. Take care out there, y'all. For the first time in 28 years, I found myself alone at sea with a couple of tech issues that were increasingly problematic. Nerds in a Flash arrived late on a day that I was tightly scheduled and asked for considerably more than they had originally estimated (exactly the same job/problem I had described to them)... but redeemed themselves by cheerfully solving my problem and agreeing to the original estimate. Would I hire them again? You bet, but I recommend that you have them come in on a day that you have a flexible schedule, because your own time pressures are demonstrably unimportant to them.

I was pissed at myself for not checking this rookie mistake. James ran a check on my video card, searched for updated drivers, and ran a detailed check on my box for malware. Yes, even with Norton running, I had lots of malware. The flat rate of $125. was paid and James was on his way. He did explain everything he was doing so I wouldn't panic.

That gave me confidence I was dealing with someone honest and knowledgeable -- no upselling, no guessing. From there, everything was easy. I don't have a car, and he worked with me to make the process simple instead of turning it into a hassle -- that alone was a huge plus. He replaced the drive and even charged less than what I found at Best Buy, which honestly surprised me. The end result? My computer is running like it should -- fast, smooth, and no more frustration. It's rare to find someone who's skilled, fair on pricing, and actually easy to work with. Jason checks all three.

On May 14th of 2026 my sister and I took my computer over to Jason's Computer Repair, on May 25th Jason sent me a text saying my hard drive was failing, that I needed a new one and the cost would be $499.00, he said someone else would charge me thousands (I am repeating what is on the text from Jason) I said okay to the $499.00 plus tax and I waited and I waited, he said he had to order the new hard drive, so I waited and waited. On June 2nd Jason said he had the new hard drive and needed another day or 2, On June 9th Jason said I could pick up my computer and I did. The next day my computer crashed again. So I decided to purchase a new computer and when the tech came to my home to set up my new computer, he asked where is your old hard drive, I said Jason Computer Repair didn't give it back to me. I text Jason I would like my old hard drive back, he lied and said he gave it to me the day I picked up my computer that I must have lost it. I said no you did not give it back to me. I was getting nowhere with Jason so I took my original old computer that Jason said he put in a new hard drive in to A computer Engineer in Austin, What they found inside was an old hard drive, older than my old computer (there was no new hard drive and he did not download my old info onto the old drive he installed. The computer Engineer gave me the proof of the older hard drive and they could not recover any of my data, there was nothing. So I gave Jason another chance and asked him if he would look around to see if he could find my old hard drive and he lied and still insisted he gave it to me. I have no idea what he did with my original hard drive or who has all my old info. Now I am experiencing stolen identity. My Amazon Prime account stolen, I have had to report all my credit cards stolen...it is a nightmare. All my info with user names and passwords were on that original old hard drive, My social security info, my medicare info, etc. etc.....I do not know for sure if Jason sold my info but it is sure crazy that he will not return my original hard drive....Did he put in someone else's computer ? Did he sell my info ? I don't know for sure what has happened to my original old hard drive, all I know is that Jason was the last person to have it and is lying about giving it back to me. I ask how someone can do this and I just don't know unless he is selling info for money? All I know for sure are is that we trusted Jason and took my computer to him on May 14th, I picked up only my computer on June 9th, Jason refuses to return my original hard drive, he did not replace with a new hard drive and charged me for it. It is the worse computer experience I have ever had. If anyone else has had a bad experience with Jason's Repair Service, Please phone me at 512-415-9116 Jason this message is for you; if I find any bad review about my business then you will be in worse trouble. I have never done any Real Estate business with you! Problem 1: Open-ended commitment on diagnosis and repair time (Fan Replacement on the MSI estimated to take up to 2 weeks). Juan finally told us that they offer 1-day service as an option. Problem 2: Poor detail management. We had to remind Juan to return the charger for the LG. Problem 3: Shop was supposed to open at 10AM and we were told at 10:05 that he was 10-15minutes away. Problem 4: Juan was marginally polite but clearly was not customer friendly. Our Laptops' Status (owner remedies): 1. Juan, a good customer service approach would have been to just be up front with the parts availability! 2. LG Gram BlueScreen: Using the Windows11 Restore routine after backing up personal files fixed the problem. Juan wanted several hundred dollars to do this including CPU cooling maintenance. Aren't there diagnostics routines that could be used first to confirm that overheating is actually an issue?

Before the BIOS update, the laptop was in perfect working order passing ALL the Dell diagnostics & booted into a fresh install of Windows. I sent it to Parts-People for just a reflash, even if it was back to the original version A10. I figured they could revert back to A10 that was working. They re-flashed the BIOS to version A12 from another motherboard and everything was told it was booting and working in Windows. Then they retried to update the BIOS to A15 and got an error code for a bad CPU when done. Why is that when it was working perfectly before the update, you would think that A15 was a bad update and revert back to A12. I argued the point and told them I would have been happy with that but they insisted that I needed a new motherboard. My dumb ass let them replace the motherboard instead of arguing the point, which I should have done. They replaced the board and updated the BIOS to A15 with everything working fine and booting into Windows. It didn't stop there. When I got the laptop back, booted into Windows, I was shocked to see a 2 inch by 1/2 inch black spot on my screen! I have no idea how that got there but I was not happy. I called to dispute the issue & was told that it was there when they got it to boot up the first time. Their resolution was that I had to purchase the screen for about $60 and they would eat the shipping both ways and the labor to install it. That was it, I got pissed off and told them how I really felt about the service I got & hung up. This was my FIRST time and is my LAST time they will get ANY more repairs from me. I just will not update a BIOS on any system if it's working & testing fine.
