Apple is my contact for apple product repair, they have the parts most of the time but are pricey. They tend to send the item to be repaired back out of state facility rather then on site. This is usually a repair charge over $400 but they include shipping, additional items that may need also to be replaced and 90 day warranty on this work. They no longer make phone appointments but use a robot online appointment system. The system tries to fill their open slots rather then offer convenient time of day. The apple store is a mix of customers trying to buy products and those needing a repair or instruction on how to use their item. The appointment time is only the time you should arrive and then you wait for the next available tech, who usually hands you off to another tech if your item is to be sent to factory for repair. On busy times the store is like the military, hurry up and wait and wait. The waiting is on uncomfortable stools and tables that remind you of school cafeteria next to another customer waiting his turn to see a tech. read more

If there's a brand new product release, the line to get inside might be crazy, however the line is always less crazy at this location then at the mall. Depending when you're going it might be a good idea to have an appointment. Great experience! I was helped right away and I was in and out within 5 minutes. After months of debating if I should buy the Apple Airpods I gave in and bought them. I walked in and was greeted by multiple employee and asked if I needed any help. I declined the help as I wanted to browse around. Everything in the store is well organized and I was able to locate the Airpods right away. I must not go inside an Apple store often because I learned that you can't just grab an item and go check out. Everything must be brought to you by someone in the back. Once I was ready to check out an employee came over and assisted me. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the woman (tall blonde) that helped me, but she was super helpful and friendly!!! Apple just sent me a survey about the main guy who helped me. He name was James. And here is my response: James was great. What was not great was the estimation of how long I was gonna be in there, and the fact that not one person takes care of me as a customer, and there didn't seem to be communication until I literally had tears in my eyes. Let me explain: James explained to me the whole process, got me to sign a bunch of stuff and told me about the risk of replacing the screen on my phone. That's all fine. He told me it'd take about an hour. That was 4:45. My phone didn't have the latest iOS and that wasn't his fault. But by the time I got the update done it was 5:10. Then I flagged down someone to take my phone in. I gave my name but the person didn't seem to know what was going on even though he got my last name and he looked all confused and kept asking me if I already went through the survey and if I had an appointment. I had been in the store for almost 50 minutes at that point. Then finally they took my phone and it was a lady who took it. At this point I already talked to 4 people in the store. She said it would take 45 minutes. If I left the store, I should come back at 6:15. I was supposed to be home to relieve my kid's nanny by 6 and it would take me 30 mins to get home. So I texted my nanny and apologize profusely and said I'd be home by 6:45. Got something to eat, came back at 6:10. Talked to someone different, and he said it wasn't ready. I waited until 6:40pm and nobody came looking for me. I asked someone else and at this point, I'm almost in tears because I should have been home for my baby 40 minutes ago. Finally person #6 said he would go in and look. More waiting. Ten minutes later I literally body blocked person #7 to ask for my phone back. Then person #8 said I'll help you, the phone is with person #6 right next to him but she had been helping another customer. Finally before person #8 could help me #6 was done and I finally got out of the store at 6:55pm. I got home 1.5-hour late. If the system is such that James could follow-through with me from the beginning, I don't think any of this could happen. I think you all rely on your "centralize" system too much and you do not seem to have anything in place to follow through with what you had promised the customer (it will only take 1 hour). WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I had an appointment for 12:00 pm. Didn't get seen until 12:30. My original issue was a cracked front screen and my phone stuck in "SOS ONLY" they woman took my phone and said "Come back at 2:30pm". Cool my husband and I went to the restaurant across the street and returned at 2:30pm only to be told to sit and wait for a manager to come speak to us. The manager then looks at us and walks away to help another customer. We flagged down another worker and they said "Come back at 4:50". Boom we walk around for a bit then return at 4:50 only to be told there was a mistake and the phone needed more repairs and to come back at 6:10. WE LEAVE AND COME BACK AT 6:15. Just to be told to sit and wait and that my phone was done and being looked over. FINALLY at 7:25pm the worker, with a very bad attitude comes out with a new phone. So I ask "Did you really make me go back and forth for 7 hours JUST to give me a new phone." He blatantly ignores me and gives a half assed attitude filled response. Has me sign the iPad and slides the new phone over saying "Have a nice day". 7 HOURS with no communication, no customer service and bad attitudes. I hope they all lose their damn jobs. read more

I visited this Apple Store location twice this week and had a super easy, in-and-out experience both times. On my first visit, I was picking up a refurbished iMac and adaptor cables that I had purchased online. (I can't have packages shipped to my home address, so free shipping to and pickup at the store was a relief.) When I arrived for the pickup after work, the store was packed, but I was instantly greeted by an employee who scanned my order QR code and directed me to stand by a nearby table. Within a minute, another employee came out with everything in my order, asked if I had questions or needed help, and even offered to carry everything out to my car for me. Quick, easy, friendly! The next day, I came in to drop off my old machine for recycling. This is a great, environmentally friendly option for old, unsupported machines that no longer have monetary value. I had already gone through all the steps to securely wipe the computer, so literally all I had to do was sign a release that I was surrendering the machine. In both visits, the store was packed, but I was instantly greeted and back out the door in minutes. It's also a relief knowing that if I had run into trouble with migrating my stuff to the new computer or wiping the old computer, there was a nearby store filled with knowledgeable and friendly Apple employees who could've helped me out. The service really is what differentiates Apple from other brands out there. read more

I had no idea this store had so many bad reviews. Then I am not surprised to have had such a terrible service myself. I should have come here your comments before going there. Like many of you I went to this store because I had an issue with my phone. Despite my previous appointments, all good, this one was the worst. I was "helped" by Cristina. I am not going to be talking how useless she was as a "technician" but to talk about how unprofessionally she treated me. 1. UNSYMPATHETIC: despite my phone being brand new not one word about how sorry she was for the issue I was dealing with, and she would do anything to help me in positively resolving the issue. 2. DEFENSIVE: The very first thing she said was that Apple iPhones are NOT WATERPROOF but "WATER RESISTANT". She was unable to say why my phone was perfectly functioning, despite a few droplets of condensation on the camera lenses, but very eager to say that the whole phone was "beyond repair". 3. UNHELPFUL: a) At my request to have my phone repaired with my own money, she refused to assist me with that too. Stating again that the phone was beyond repair. b) At no time she offered to have a technician to look at the phone to verify if the phone was truly beyond repair. 4. GREEDY: The only solution she offered was having me spending additional $500+ to get a new one. 5. DISRESPECTFUL: On my way out of the store I saw her laughing about the whole incident. Obviously, she felt like she had won the argument. 6. UNSAFE: While I was arguing with her another all gym buffed up employee came over and standing really close to me making me feel unsafe and threatened by his presence during the whole process. Again, this complaint is partially about the issue I had with the phone, but as many other people wrote, especially about the way I was treated as a customer. Laughed at, disrespected and threatened. You have a defective phone still under Apple warranty they will not exchange that phone even if you're sent there by customer service for that exchange , on top of that the so called technician tests the phone with a SIM card from another phone the phone still would not function ,and then uses the excuse that the SIM card he installed!! I called this store to fix my monitor and they set up an appointment. When i got there they were late to see me and told me that they dont make repairs in the shop. So i asked why the appointment was made and they said "i dont know". The girl then offered to "look at" the problem and 20 minutes later she said she didnt see anything wrong with the wires. I took it home and opened it myself and found that it was never opened before, so in other words she lied and never even looked. Fixed it myself with a swiss army knife in 5 minutes. This store was a great experience for me personally. I cracked my iPhone screen so I made an appointment for a Saturday afternoon. I showed up early and someone was able to help me almost right away. Told me to come back in 45 minutes so I walked around in the sunshine and then returned. Phone was ready and looked good as new. The staff was really nice and helpful.
