update. Went back to Apple Ford to buy a new car. The salesman I dealt with was everything that typifies the smarmy salesman. He kept on throwing out numbers so fast I lost track and tried to rush me into the deal. When it came down to dealing time, he called in the manager who wouldn't budge one bit on the price. Horrible service dept. Had a severe noise on start up on my 2017 f150. Apple had it for 3 days and left me with " we/ford doesnt know what it is but they are researching the cause. Left me with an open trouble ticket! Month later didnt hear a peep from them. Decided to take it to Academy ford in Laurel. They diagnosed a failed timing chain and gears and had it fixed in 4 days. Runs great. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Apple ford service. Academy ford is worth the additional 30 minute drive I assure you. read more

I purchased my car from there and work in the automotive industry, yes they are high volume service but they went above and beyond any expectations today. Took my Focus in for service with my trusty sidekick, Keno the #115 Rottweiler and went without an appointment for my 15k service. The Quick Lube team offer a ride home even though Im two miles out of range, with the dog in their shuttles. Unfortunately, my sidekick, couldn't manage the height of the shuttles. No problem.. Instead took my car home and the porter took the car to the dealership. They came and picked me up four hours later..great experience read more

Bought a used truck from them back in October. Took forever to get out of there that night. Sales team barely knew I was there. Good luck getting a hold of anyone after you sign the papers and drive away. I never got my information about my loan payments and I sent several messages to the VP and Finance Staff, only to be helped days later by the office secretary. Service department was much better than any other dealer in the area I've taken my ST to, I took it to 2 other dealers for a noise from my suspension and was told by both of them it was my charge pipe which I knew was a load and they just didn't feel like properly diagnosing it well apple took the time and found a cracked in half upper strut mount. BEWARE OF APPLE FORD SERVICE!! I took my 2016 F-150 to Apple Ford for a brake booster recall repair. When I left my truck in the care of Apple Ford, it was working perfectly. There were zero problems with my truck. However, when I went to pick up my truck when it was ready, the driver's side door lock was inoperable. It wouldn't work from the remote, the code on the door or the lock/unlock switch inside the truck. I now have to manually open the door from the passengers side just to get in my truck. I immediately reported this issue w/my service adviser who informed me that "these things happen" and that he would not pay for the repair. His boss, the service manager (Curtis) echoed his service advisor and refused to repair my truck that was broken under HIS care. He rudely offered a 15% discount on a $500 repair and reminded me he was doing me a favor b/c that he didn't have to offer me anything. I repeat...the truck was broken under HIS care. I reminded him and his staff that I have three (3) Ford trucks that I have had serviced at Apple Ford over the past 15 years. When I informed him that I would take my business elsewhere and go to one of the other local Ford dealerships in the area, he didn't seem to care. That's great customer service...NOT!! I was treated very poorly and unfairly by Apple Ford. Ford customers deserve better. Stay away from Apple Ford. read more

I only go to this Ford dealer because I live in this area. It's absolutely the worst service I have received since owning a Ford for more than 7 years now. I made an appointment and still had to wait more than three hours for an oil change for my car. The service guy returns from lunch to tell me oh, I had no idea you were still here. I told the other guys to let you know your car was ready before I left for break (side eye). Today, I thought I was smart by going through Quick lane but again a three hour wait, so I catch the shuttle service. I never got a call that my car was ready. I called the shuttle service @4:24 pm and its 5:45pm and I am still sitting here waiting for a ride to pay for very subpar service. I think it's time to go outta my way for service. BEWARE - FRAUDULENT PRACTICES APPEAR TO BE IN PLACE-- BAIT/SWITCH on warranties sold on vehicles. We are a reputable business in MD. We purchased a Ford heavy duty diesel from Apple Ford. We purchased a full priced Ford extended service plan warranty on the truck with the vehicle. This is the premium Ford service plan - not any of the cheaper after market warranties that they sell for less money and basically cover nothing. Fast forward a year, we have this vehicle in a Ford certified garage for a major repair covered by this warranty. The Ford garage needing to do the repair says that we do NOT have the Ford Extended Service Plan filed. We placed a complaint with Ford Motor Company because no one at Apple Ford will answer our calls or do anything about this problem. Ford Motor called Apple Ford and they are NOW stating after stating earlier that we had no warranty at all that we have a "Warrantech" or some other after market warranty even though we have a signed copy of a Ford Ultra Care Extended Service Plan contract and paid a premium price for it. The company, to include Laura Lower - Vice President, refuses to send us the signed copy of the "alleged" Warrantech agreement that we bought and will not acknowledge the signed copy (by both Apple and ourselves) of the Ford Extended Service Plan that we have in our possession. The Ford Extended Service Plan WOULD have covered all repairs in full on the day the truck was brought in for repair. Apple Ford sold us this expensive plan and took the money for it and wrote up a "Ford Extended Service Plan" contract and wrote in "Ford Extended Service Plan" also into the contract and never gave us the warranty we paid for. It has been a week and no one, to include this "Vice President" will respond to voice or email to resolve this as our Ford truck sits in another Ford garage waiting repairs to be authorized for their bait / switch leaving us without the warranty repair that we paid for on contract. Not only would we never recommend a dealership that appears to provide fraudulent practices in their sales -- we will never buy another Ford. If this has been in error, we are not being provided any information from Apple Ford after repeated requests to try to resolve by getting copies of the other warranty that the garage says we have also but will not provide to us. read more

Very Disappointed in the service that I received! Made an appointment 5 days in advance to have an oil change done on my F150. On the day of my appointment I arrive at 8:20am and said that I have an 8:30am appointment. The service agent asked if I was dropping the car off and I said that I can return to pick it up at noon. The service guy said they wouldn't have it done by then but they could call and let me know when I could pick it up. I reiterated that I had an appointment and he said well we can try to reschedule if that doesn't work for you. I took my truck and said I'll try another dealership. Low and behold the service manager contacted me and asked if I could relay the story to him. When I let him know the story, he said "well you didn't let him know that you could stay and wait so he's not required to make you a priority." I told him that I made an appointment and as a courtesy I told them that I could come back and pick it up, however they should have honored my 8:30am APPOINTMENT!! The service manager went onto tell me that no compensation for my lost time would be awarded and then said goodbye. Seriously tho... you need 8hrs to do an oil change :-/ I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE!! THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE i HAVE EVER RECEIVED. What a bunch of bozos. Had the exhaust fixed, fell off on the way home on a Friday night. Had to get another shop to fix it, since I couldn't drive around the weekend with it half hanging off. Foolishly came back another time with an engine noise. Got back an estimate of "needs new engine, $4500". Really? I did just drive it in. And yes, I paid $65 for the privilege of having a mechanic not do any real "investigation" into the problem. Went somewhere else, problem was the power steering pump. $120 and done. Took hour and half for concierge to come pick me up, after I called several times. read more

I called about a specific listing from website. The sales manager checked the stock number and ensured me the truck was there. I setup an appointment for later that afternoon and was told it will be all ready for me to view. When I arrive, the truck is not there and had not been there for several days! They then proceed to look for other models on the lot and tell me that they will get a better one at the lower price for me. However, they kept trying to up sell me more expensive models, without dropping price to the one I originally asked about. When will I ever learn. I have had three dealings with these guys. All bad. In the interest of time I will give the readers digest version. #1 Oct 2004 Go into the dealership in the hopes of securing a 2005 Expedition. I was on a very tight timeframe to secure it (a tax provision was expiring and I need to take delivery by the end of Oct.). I had a pretty tight list of specs but there was one local. The other dealer refused to release the vehicle and a standoff ensued which left me sitting in the showroom 8 hours while these idiots negotiated for the release of the hostage. They failed. I walked and it took me about 30 seconds to find the vehicle using the web. Ended up putting 170K rough miles on it before the engine blew. Best truck I ever owned. #2 Sept 2010 I go to replace the truck. Apparently I had an amnesia attack about the first fiasco because I agreed to try to give Apple my business again. We spent hours going through the specs, ordering and negotiating the price. According to the Rapid Spec for the options the truck should come with dual DVD players in the headrest. This option was listed on the invoice and all the docmentation as being included in the option package. We actually even called the sales rep numerous times to verify that this option was on the truck and they assured us it was. Truck arrives and I open the rear door and find there are no DVD's. They have miraculously disappeared from all the documentation but like magic the price is still the same. They tried to tell me that the DVD's were never part of the package even after I was able to provide proof they said they were! I was bummed but still wanted the truck (Was going through Expedition withdrawl) and so I asked them to give me a credit for the option which they flat out refused to do. What they would do is CHARGE me $1990 dollars to install them after market. Wait a minute. You want to charge me for an option, don't include it and then charge me AGAIN to have it put in? I walked. It took me months to get my deposit back. I finally had to threaten legal action to get it done. Feb 2011 So I really need a truck. I am pulling a trailer with a Honda Pilot and it just isn't up to the task. So we pull all our specs again and head to the dealership (another amnesia attack). Ford has apparently straightened out the DVD issue (it's now an add on and not available as an included option) We sit there for hours as they try to strongarm us into taking some repo off the lot at full price. After getting tired of the shell game we decide to order the vehicle. The dealership ordering rep comes out and apparently recognizes us and refuses to order the vehicle. They claim they were "stuck" with the vehicle from the previous screw up and were unwilling to do it again. No problem. Headed down the road to another Ford dealer. No hassle and didn't even ask for a deposit. Our new vehicle shoudl arrive in about a month. Apple Ford, on the other hand, should be ashamed of themselves. They are a caricature of everything a bad car dealership is. Terrible customer service, underhanded sales tactics and high employee turnover. Never again. And I mean it this time. read more

Unfortunately, I was about to lose all remaining equity in my vehicle because of this financial travesty. Stay away from these guys at all costs. I've never been to a more sketchy car dealership. I told them up front that I did my homework and I don't want to go back an forth. Just give me your best deal and let me evaluate and we can make a deal or not. They took my car to evaluate for trade and I test drove a new F-150 that I saw was listed for $51,482 "clear price". When I sat down, the salesmen went over to the manager to get the pricing when I reminded him I want their best out the door price, I was a military retiree, and I already had a loan from USAA. He came back with a piece of paper with some handwritten numbers on it with three columns. Each column had a price, then three sets of "monthly payments." The first column was my "internet price" which was at 51,482 but somehow the payment was over $1000 a month. They then showed me two columns that had "If I used my USAAA loan ($54,900) with a payment of something like $970 and then their loan at the price of 54,900 with a payment of like 890 a month. Oh, and they said they would pay of what I owe on my car and my car is currently at Kelly blue book value so that was a wash. They of course never mentioned that I get a $3300 tax credit for trading in my car (like I don't know). They said the only way I could get the internet price was to use there "special finance plan" which made the payment ridiculous. No where did they say how much the percentage was on any loan. I'm not a dumb guy, but it was so ridiculously confusing that I said ok, if that's your best deal, then I'll have to think it over. Instead of giving me their shady number, he folded the paper up and I stood up, shook his hand and started to leave. That's when the salesmen comes and follows me out and says, "I'm not supposed to tell you this but if you take the internet price you can just refinance through USAA within six months." I was thinking to myself, I don't trust anything coming from these guys at this point but maybe. A week later, I get an email saying today is the last day to get my "Deal". Playing along, I asked them, what was your best out the door price again? He came back with "after paying off your car, it is 61,036.00 OTD. Can we wrap it up?" I caught them being even more shady. I told them they were shady, I'd never due business with them and I'm going to review them everywhere including sending an email to Ford. I also told them not to reply and to not waste any more time. An hour and half later I got this e-mail reply, "Your last email alerted my managers. They looked over the deal and worked it out for you. With paying off your M4, you're looking at $59,300. " LOL! These guys are too much. Unless you are looking for a shady deal, stay away from this place at all costs. I probably will not buy a Ford now after this, though I've bought cars from many other dealers over my time and have never run into anything like these hucksters. May all Ford dealers are like this? I thought I had the best deal possible or they made it appear that way.. till you sat down to discuss the final deal. I was prepared with all the paper work and went to the dealer to buy the car. The keep in touch with you constantly promising you great prices, but in the end you are basically screwed !! The called me and offered me an unbeatable price for Focus and when I went in to buy the car, the dealer refused that he even made that offer over the phone. I was shocked and he tried to convince me that he had not called me with those numbers. Okay so I asked him keeping in mind the Customer for Life option so potentially it is a lot of saving over time, but they screwed me over again with monthly payments that don't make sense. First they checked my Credit and offered me lower rate and said we can in fact for your credit work 0.5% lower than what we have quoted now. And what was it when we went to work out the deal 2% more than what they had quoted the first time we went to inquire. I am totally disappointed with the way they handled it. I guess, they just did not want to sell the vehicle to us. This is not customer service, this is customer kick out. I bought my car brand new in 2012 (Ford Focus S). Free Oil changes for life (every 6 months). They are SUPPOSED to top off all fluids, rotate tires, and include a car wash. Now, I have to check all my fluid levels, because they DON'T top off anything half the time. This past week, they LEFT OFF the splash shield --- a cover located at the underside of cars that protects your engine from potential damage caused by bumps, water and debris. Plus they forgot AGAIN to wash my car, telling me I can come back any time. I work from 8 to 5, and don't even get home until AFTER the dealer closes, and it is damned near impossible to get it washed on Saturdays, due to them being so busy. I don't want to make another trip OUT OF MY WAY just to get my car washed. It's pretty BAD when I have to check to see the fluids, etc. And now the Splash Shield???? Ford Certified means NOTHING to them. read more

Poor at best. Bought a 50K new car and it did not last 1 year. Returned to Apple Ford as a Lemon. After the car was repaired, the service manager was demanding that I return the rental car that day. Keep in mind that I was notified that morning the car was finished, then I have some service manager getting demanding, really? This is how you treat your customers? Folks, think long and hard before you: A. Buy a Ford, B. Buying from Apple Ford. Too bad, loved the car and working with Ford Corporate, they would not extend the warranty to keep me in the car. I saw there listing on ebay. Called and told them I'm driving 3 hours away to pick it up. Upon arrival they said that 13500 wasn't the actual price. They claim ebay is a third party website! They taxed on a $5000 "vehicle reconditioning fee" ! So they actual price was 18500. That's not what the said on the phone! They are crooks plain and simple. This dealership have a life time free oil change. I brought my car in for an oil change, I had issue with them 2 out of 3 times. First they broke the screw for oil pan and cost me $475 to replace the pan. Second time, there was no issue. But on Third visit, they broke my wheel by forcing nuts in too hard and can't screw in the wheel nut back in. Gave car back and told me to bring it to the VW dealer to have the rim changed because they don't have a tools to fix it. I hate this Quick Lane at the Apple Ford. Free oil change for life? The free oil change service at this dealership cost me more than $900 dollar in just three visit. Never going back.. who know what else they will break if I went back? read more

I knew it would be a waste of time to try and get warranty service completed at Ford from hearing from others on here but I had to try. My 2015 has had a tire pressure sensor fault every since I bought the truck ( no big deal ) but I'm coming up on the end of the 3 years/ 36000 mile warranty and my batteries are leaking from the top of them so I figured it was time to try and get them fixed. My truck has 20k miles on it and the tire pressure sensor fault goes off about every 40 miles. Well they called me and tried to say that the light bar I added could be the problem and the tires were 5 lbs low in pressure. I explained that it started after I bought it and the pressures have been spot on and still the problem. They said that they could not drive it 40 miles to make it happen cause they don't have the time. I would have to bring it in with the fault on display, which would be fine but it clears off fairly soon after the alarm goes off every 40 miles. Then they suggested that the service manager could drive it home tonight and use the truck to try and get the fault code to appear with their equipment attached. I just don't like people taking my truck home to who knows where for the night. I offered to take my time to drive the truck with their computer attached and bring it right back after the fault code appears and they told me that they could not trust any customer to take their $4000 computer with them on a drive and that if I was not satisfied with the service that I could always try another dealership, which m ade me feel as if I was an inconvenience to them. They also said the battery leakage at the batteries was normal and they would not clean the krud and wetness off the batteries cause it was normal. I told them since you can't trust me to help you with driving around with your $4000 computer to fix my truck in warranty then I don't trust you any further to fix my truck, so I picked it up and knew it was a complete waste of time to try and get ford to honor the warranty. read more

In my opinion, find somewhere else to go! In my case, while the car was in for repairs they broke the key off in the ignition. If Apple had an ethical and responsible repair shop they would have simply repaired the damage they caused. This what Apple did. In the body of a 3 page repair bill, under an item labelled 107580, they reported they had broken the key off inside the ignition. Shame on me, I didn't actually read the repair bill word for word. Of course, no one verbally informed me of the damage at the time I picked up the car. In our the case, unfortunately, the damaged key would still start the car. We only realize the damage days later when a duplicate key wouldn't start the car. When I called them they simply refused to fix the damage claiming 1) they had "informed" us of the damage when we picked up the car and 2) the key was just "weak" and simply broke (never in my life has a key ever "just broke" unless forced). Long story short, if they are this creative in refusing to fix damage they caused, imagine how creative they can be when billing you for a complex repair. read more

Run away! I purchased an overpriced Ford Edge which the salesman told me was included in their special 0% financing over 60 months. However, when the time came to sit down with Finance, I was told that I was misinformed and that they couldn't do anything about it because Ford Motor Company was a completely different entity... SHADY. Then during the next 7 days... I was told to come in on different occasions because they had forgotten to copy my driver's license, etc. And TO TOP IT OFF, I purchased aftermarket specials (undercoat seal and paint seal) which ended in disaster. Their people scratched my bumper, didn't clean off the wax, and sprayed over dust particles which made the paint look very bumpy. My navigation system also wasn't working properly. I called, and was told that none of it could be fixed until next week. After yelling for a manager, I was finally able to receive a gas-guzzling car as a rental until they fixed my car. 6 days later, my car was repaired but scratched again by the cleaning guys supposedly. Now, I'm looking for a refund of my money for the paint deal but they want me to trust them to try to fix my car again when they've "scratched" it on at least 3 different occasions. Scott, James, and Chip (the "president") are not interested in repeat customers. RUN AWAY! This business is a disgrace and the CEO of Ford will be getting a complaint letter. read more

Brought in my F150 for an oil change and tire rotation. Bad enough was the 2 hour time frame it took to get the oil change done. When walking outside to stretch my legs, I see my truck is now parked on the side of the building. Thought this was good news, as it meant my truck was done. Walk up to the service counter to ask about my truck, and he says its done, but it's going to take a few minutes to do the paperwork. No problem I said, asked for my keys so I could get some things out of my truck. I get to my truck and see the passenger side door is completely caved in on the bottom of the door, the front fender on the pass side is caved in, and scrapes all along both panels. I hastily walked back to the service counter, borderline fuming and ask what the heck happened to my truck, and a technician standing there says, "Oh yeah, the tow truck hit his truck" Fuming, they go and get Curtis Ford, the service manager who looks over my truck and says we are really sorry, don't worry, we will fix it. He had it run over to their body shop - Tri State Collision, to have an estimate done. He then says he can't get it in for a week as the body shop is just really busy, but that he will get me a loaner while its being fixed. I leave, paying full price for my service even though they smashed the side of my truck, not how I would have dealt with it, but ok. Pretty disappointed they wouldn't say, the least we can do is an oil change and rotation at no cost, but ok. In the end, it took the collision center 3 times to fix the truck. Informed them from the get go, that I must have a truck for a loaner due to my work. The 2nd time around they didn't have one though, even though an appt was scheduled. The door had to be realigned, the tint on my passenger window had to be replaced due to scrapes all the way through, overspray and spray masking all over the side and inside of the truck, broken trim panels they tried to caulk in place instead of replacing, and finally, they failed to do proper body work, smoothed over a body line, and forgot to paint the rock guard on the bottom of the panels. Absolutely worst work ever, and I have been in the dealership and body shop business for most of my career. My advisor at Tri State- Kisha - was very sweet, and tried very hard to get things done on time and kept me informed, but her body guys and paint guys severely let her down, and allowed horrible quality to go through the shop. I spoke to the manager, as after the 2nd time, I didn't want to bring it back, and he told me I had to as they were the ones that damaged it. Ended up finding out later that is against the law, and while my attorney suggested I file a suit, I declined as I have already been inconvenienced enough. To this day, no one has ever called me to ask about what could be done to try to make up the inconvenience of running down 3 times and being without my truck for so long. I paid for a tire repair on the loaner, that was a faulty tire valve and sensor, and still have not been reimbursed. If you want to be treated horribly, have no customer service shown to you, not have your vehicle fixed properly, and never have anyone in management try to make things right, then Apple Ford is the place to go. Absolute horrible vehicle service, deplorable body shop, and lack thereof in regards to management. Ford should be embarrassed this company is allowed to represent their brand. read more

My sons car had a break fluid light on and our regular place said it would be under warranty. Our son lives out of town and we considered this an emergency. He had to leave the next day to go home for his job. He brought the car in at 6 pm at night and Kevin said they would look at it in the morning. They did and they called early and said they had to wait for a part but they would be able to get it about 11 and it should be done soon after. After they got the part they called to say another light had gone off and they were checking it out. They did and fixed it and got my son back on the road that afternoon. They were wonderful. Great service, got there early Monday at 06:35 for "Customer for Life" routine 6 month oil/filter change, tire rotation, alignment check, multi-point inspection and car wash. I was out of there within 75 minutes. read more

Took my car in today for an oil change using their quick lane service. That was at 1130, 3 hours later and it is not done. This is not what I consider quick. Even with free oil changes for life it is not worth it. The sales process was horrible, It took 3 1/2 hours. When I knew what car I wanted and paid the price they ask and was pre approved. They just lost my service and future car buying business. I don't think they will care. They don't care about their customers or their customers time. read more
