Extremely poor service department. They don't know how to properly diagnose or repair purchased vehicles. Based on my experience... after you purchase a car at Apple Ford you're on your own. They simply do not know how to diagnose or properly repair the most straight forward issues. They could not diagnose a car issue after several visits to the service department over a six month period. I was basically told that the car was fine. Car ended up breaking down, leaving me stranded almost 40 miles from home. After I completed a Ford survey expressing my dissatisfaction with the service, they had a customer service representative call me to badger me about my review. I found a car online at Apple Ford and made contact through the normal channels. I was contacted quickly by RM the internet sales manager who put me in touch with a salesperson. Struck an oral deal over the phone with the blessing of TE whom I was told was the used car sales manager on duty at the time. I offered to put a deposit down immediately to hold the car until the cashier's check arrived, but TE said that wouldn't be necessary if I just sent a photo of the check. I complied with the instructions and put the check in the mail to be delivered next business day. This car was for my 16 year old son and I purchased airline tickets to fly to Baltimore with him to have a father/son driving experience across the country in his new car. I received a text message the following day telling me that the car had been sold to another customer. The sale occurred 24 hours after I had made the deal over the phone with the sales staff. I called and spoke to RM, TE and finally ND the used car manager. All three of these people told me they had no idea why I was calling which was a factually false statement as all three of these people were integral in selling the car to another person. Rather than apologizing, they all tried to feign ignorance of the situation and according to RM, the sales person was even instructed not to contact me again. I've never been treated so unethically by an establishment in all of my 49 years. I paid money for a cashiers check, shipping cost for an overnight letter, airline tickets to Baltimore, and now I'm gonna have to go down to the bank to have my cashier's check canceled. In my mind, if you make a deal, it's a deal. Handshake, oral or on paper. Apple has made it clear that they don't operate under the same set of values. My salesperson, MP, was the only one out of the four people I spoke to that offered an apology and I respect his backbone for doing that. I don't write many reviews, but I was compelled to write one about Apple Ford. This is an unethical, bottom line oriented organization that uses deceptive and sneaky business practices. This type of behavior starts at the top and trickles down. The used car manager, ND, was the most condescending, stonewalling person I have ever dealt with over the phone. I realize that I'm just one customer 500 miles from Apple Ford, but if my review can save one person any frustration or heartache while they're trying to make one of the most exciting and expensive purchases in their lives, then I feel like this review has done it's job. Got lowering springs on my mustang, which threw the specs way off. The service tech took care of me and got it back to where it needed to be. Everyone there seemed to be really helpful and knowledgeable about aftermarket projects. The main tech guy answered all my suspension related questions and addressed my concerns. This place is a joke. I bought my brand new Ford Explorer from them even though the salesman I had was completely incompetent (should have been a sign for me to leave right then). I noticed after only 1,000 miles that my light had condensation in it and eventually brought it in for them to fix, but they told me it would be $700 and not covered by the warranty because I did it to the light somehow (I did nothing to the light). They eventually changed their story after I made a fuss and said it would only be $150. These people are only out for money, so watch out! read more

I went in knowing exactly what car I wanted to purchase. I had the stock number and VIN written down. I test drove the car and really liked it. It took about 45 minutes to negotiate with the salesman to get it to the price I wanted. Then I waited over 5 and 1/2 hours for the Finance Manager to process me. It was ridiculous. I sat waiting for hours after I had already made my intentions clear. I love my Ford but I would highly recommend going to any other local dealer, unless you want to waste your entire day. I will never buy a car from Apple Ford or any Apple dealer again, it was a big waste of time. They also never offered any drink or snacks, which if you go to other dealers is common practice. I wanted to lease a vehicle and they tried to get me to buy by giving me a lower payment on buying rather than leasing. They said leasing was over $400/month. I went to another Ford dealer and they got me to $273 without any haggling. TY was off work that day but was told to speak to manager as he instructed me to do that I was didn't happen , Instead had young salesman that had no real customer service or professionalism when discussing certain info. Brought my Lincoln in for service expecting a premium experience. The service people were all polite and professional; however, the customer waiting lounge was very poor. Only two desks with families of kids watching cartoons on tv. The other lounges had no channels to watch the stock market. The Lincoln Customer Lounge had cheap chairs that were 1 foot off the ground and the tv had no business or news channels. I guess they don't think Lincoln Customers own stocks or watch the news. I own a 2013 F150, I recently moved here from Hawaii. During my time in Hawaii I was unable to take care of my truck as I would have liked to and my positive terminal on my battery was pretty corroded. I had the pleasure of working with Greg, he was a fantastic representative of their service department and hooked me up with an aftermarket terminal. He also did the work in a very timely manner. Then I had the opportunity to deal with their parts department, and they took care of me just as well as the service department did. I recently purchased a car from Apple Ford. Beware of salesman Mike Wheeler. He sold me a car with a known mechanical issue and illegally did not disclose it. I am a very honest person and I would have made a decision to buy a different car if I knew this salesman tried to sell the same car to another buyer but it fell through because they were not happy with the unresolved mechanical issue that Apple Ford said was fixed. Mr. wheeler to get a sale was underhanded and sneaky. I found out the real issue from another sales person when I brought the car in to resolve the mechanical issue. Brought my vehicle in two weeks ago for excessive sound out of my transmission from my brand new Ford Mustang GT. After making an appointment with a young thorough and enthusiastic service advisor named Kevin, they started the process of trying to fix my problem. A week later when the technician (Devin) couldn't find a solution for my problem, he offered to contact me personally, shared with me the entire process that went into taking care of my car, in the most professional way I've seen. Was very courteous and answered any and all questions quickly and efficiently. Made sure I was a top priority since it took longer than expected to fix. He made sure to dedicate his time to figuring out the problem and getting me back on the road as fast as possible. Definitely recommend for all Ford owners in the DMV read more

This was from 1/11/21. Went in looking to test drive a new truck. Greeted by a gentlemen who pointed me to a salesman. Sale guys asked what I was interested in, so told him. Got keys for a truck, test drove it, came back, asked how I liked it, so decided to run numbers. Wife was with me at time also. So sitting at desk I filled an app for credit, I asked and said I only want credit ran to two or three places. I have had my credit shotgun to 11 places previously with an older car. So waiting for credit to come back, he asked if we could put any money down, so we said we could do $500. Well w my phone I have credit karma and Experian which notifies any and all credit inquires. I ended up getting about 5 that night, my wife co signed and hers was ran a total of 8 times without her knowledge. The salesman was also extremely aggressive when I said the payment was too high even with gap insurance and continued to push me into a corner for a payment multiple times. before we left said he could hold the truck for 5 days if I put a 500 deposit. So I did. But before all that deposit happened he could tell my wife and I were flustered and almost took advantage of the situation asking me to take the deal and sign papers that night. It was very tense, he wouldn't disclose my credit score the entire time even when I emailed asking the following days. On my phone got another notification that my credit was ran on 1/12/21 WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE until I saw it pop up, which seems almost illegal without disclosing that to me. It was ran another 8 times, making it a total of 13 times my credit was ran for lenders. Which in turn destroyed my credit as well as my wife's who got ran 8 times. I wanted to wait until I got my deposit back to review. Father in law also said his friend bought three brand new work trucks for his company recently and they are on three months where they won't work on the truck or give a date. Needless to say I am now in no position to get into a new vehicle and now have to repair the damage that was done by these sales people. Remember, 13 times my credit was ran, and one day it was ran without my consent, keep that in mind if you're looking. They also gave me almost $2k LESS for my trade then what I was given at three different dealerships not related to one another. So if you want to have your credit ran more than 10 times in one night, and be pushed into a corner for a payment, this is the place for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. This has Permanently made me not trust any salesman with any buying process which is a shame because there are good ones out there, but sadly only takes a couple to destroy that image. read more

I took my car to Apple Ford last Thursday and picked it up last Friday. It needed an oil change and recall item which was fixed. Curtis Ford - the manager gave phenomenal service. When he test drove my car, after describing the noises i had been hearing - they fixed the problem and happily it was covered under warrenty. Les did a great job writing up my order and keeping me informed. At the end of the day on Friday - my car was not only washed - but vacummed!!!! Talked about Service - Curtis Ford and his team went above and beyond the call of duty. it was the hottest day of the summer last week and they were there for me. Then Curtis introduced me to Chris to help me with extending my warrenty. Chris was awesome. He listened to me needs and will be helping me. WHAT A TEAM......I love my car and Love Apple ford!!!! My advice to anyone looking to buy a new vehicle is to do your homework. The price on a new vehicle from Apple Ford admittedly was good. I was willing to pay their asking price because it was very fair. However, don't expect to trade in a vehicle to get your new one. That's where they screw you. And I mean REALLY screw you. They must think we're all idiots out here. There's a consumer website you can go to...NADA.com. That stands for "National Automotive Dealers Association," and that's the bible for all used vehicle pricing. They'll tell you exactly what your trade-in vehicle is worth. Ours was worth $13,000 for a trade-in (not retail). But their offer to us? $7,400! So they were trying to rip us off for $5,600! That was insulting. They tried to pull up comps at $12,500 (still a hefty $5,000 profit for them, which is crazy), but I also pulled up comps nearby (theirs was 100 miles out) at $15,400. To add insult to injury, their sales rep David insulted me, was very condescending, and arrogant! Must not be familiar with sales practices. Sad to know that, in this depressed time of all sales, including auto sales especially, that the New Vehicle Sales department, which right now is selling at 50% of expected, allows the Used Vehicle department to decide their fate for new sales. If you are lucky and catch the warranty charge in the very small print they will then act like they no longer wanna sell you the car because they would rather sell it to the next guy and trick him. I was told my total purchase was 23k after all taxes and fees and the loan would be for 17k after a 6 k down payment. I get the payment info from the bank and turns out the loan was for 20k because they charged me 26k including a $3388.00 warranty that I was never told would be added and never even told what the hell this warranty includes. If I could give them negative stars I would they don't deserve one star. The worst service department I ever dealt with and no customer service skills what so ever. This is the second time I took my car to this place and the issue wasn't fixed and they released a unsafe vehicle back to me. The first in encounter. I purchased a 2018 Ford Mustang brand new one of the ties kept running flat this started happening within the first month of having the car. I took it to multiple tire shops they all told me to take it back to the dealership because it was a defective tire. It had no nails or cuts in the tire nor was it a rim issue it was just a bad tire. I took the vehicle to Apple ford they had the car from early morning until 2pm to only tell me that it was nothing wrong with the tire and they released the vehicle back to me. The same day I left their service department, i was driving and the tire went flat while in the middle of traffic by this time the serviced department was close for the day I was stuck on the road for hours. I called Apple ford the next day but the service department was closed because it was the 4th of July, I then talk to someone in the sale department and informed them, I just had my car there the prior day for hours and they told me nothing was wrong with my tire the man in the sales department told me well that department is closed today. "I don't know what you want me to do" in a very nasty tone. So i left my car at a gas station and I had to drive over two hours away to buy a new tire because there was no where open near me or they didn't have the type of tire that was on my car. When Apple ford service department reopened on July 5,2018 I called and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with a Curtis Ford he then told me to bring the tire back there which I did. He then called me once again and told me they couldn't find what was wrong with the tire. I asked to speak with his manager because something was differently wrong with the tire. After going back and forth with them for over a month or more and writing a review on google they finally gave me a refund for the tire I had to purchase. Second encounter I took my car to Apple Ford for a Oil and transmission oil change because the Notification popped up on the dashboard. This was in the 2nd week of February. They did the oil change and also a tire rotation and told me I didn't need a transmission oil change. With in the same week after they touched my car, I started to hear a knocking or popping noise on the right side when turning the car wheels to the left or right. Once again I call and asked to speak with a manager and I talked to Curtis Ford I informed him of the noise the car was making, he asked me to bring the car in and gave me a appointment time of 1030am that next week. I arrived at Apple Ford and Curtis Ford was almost 45 min late and a guy in the service department was calling him, he wasn't picking up the phone he didn't get there until 11:11. He then drove my vehicle for a test drive and told me nothing was wrong with it and release the vehicle to me informed him I didn't feel safe driving the car. Days later I still was hearing the noise on the right side of the car and the car also had a burning smell and a ratchet light came on the dashboard. I called Curtis Ford the manager of the service department and informed him that the issues was still current and I needed to bring the vehicle back in ASAP for a 3rd time and I felt unsafe driving the vehicle around. He told me well you can't bring it in today other people have appointments, I stated to him well I also had a appointment last week and you said nothing was wrong with the car and you released a unsafe vehicle to me. He then said well I can look at it next week which would of been February 19,2019 I stated to him once again I don't feel safe driving the vehicle with the noise the car is making next week isn't good enough. He then goes to say well didn't you say you was going to take it else where, I said yes for a 2nd option because this service department don't do their job. I ended up telling Curtis he was no help and have a good day. Curtis Ford has bad customer service skills as a manager and do not care about the customer safety. I took My vehicle to another Ford dealer and not only did they fix my car they round the noise on the right side of the car Apple Ford left something lose on the car something with the suspension. Apple Ford told me I didn't need a transmission oil change and the other Ford dealer said my transmission oil was extremely low and they changed it. Also whatever reason the ratchet light was on Morris Ford fixed that as well all the issues that I took the car to Apple Ford for and Curtis Ford said nothing was wrong Morris Ford found and fixed and called me throughout the whole process now thanks to Morris Ford I'm back on the road driving a safe vehicle. read more

I had a horrible experience while looking for a new car today. Our salesman, was a nice man, but after waiting about 10 minutes to find some keys, we walked to the rear lot and all three of the vehicles were blocked by another vehicle. We left him in the back lot. Upon leaving the dealership, I asked to speak with a sales manager. The Arrogant "manager at the desk seemed not to care that the service we were provided was horrible. I am not sure that he understood that customers have many choices as to where they can purchase a car, and that most people want to buy a car from a dealership that appreciates and respects their business. Review regarding sales team, will update with service review later If trading in a vehicle, be aware that they may verbally agree to a certain trade amount and show you the Trade Value you want in the form of a "Net Trade Allowance". A manager shook my hand as he said "if WE give you the $10,500 you want for your trade will you buy the truck?" I said "yes", only to find out later in the process, that to them that actually meant $10,550 minus 6% for sales tax that you will ultimately save if you trade in the vehicle. This put them very close to their original offer of $9975 on my trade which I thought was too low. We noticed this near the end of closing the deal after we had half a day invested at the dealership. At that point it was not worth our time to argue the roughly $630 we felt they misled us about. I noticed it, asked about it and was told the tax savings were part of the $10,500. ......It was, but mainly because of how they chose to define the value of my trade on the paperwork. We decided to proceed regardless. FYI "Net Trade Allowance" decreases the purchase price of your new vehicle to give you an "Effective Trade Allowance" in the amount desired. If they honored the $10,500 in the form of a "Net Trade Allowance" which is what I thought was happening, our overall savings would have been greater and where I was hoping they would have been. The sales managers have assured me this is common practice at this dealership and it was outlined clearly. I disagree with how it was verbally presented to me on this occasion and felt that part was misleading; On paper it is very clear when I look at it. Lesson Learned on my part.........It took a while to get a proper response providing some clarification addressing our concern on the matter, partly because of the busy holiday season. In the end, the sales team was quite patient and took the time to explain it all to us several times. Maybe this is just something we were unaware of as we have not purchased too many vehicles in recent years. Life goes on, maybe this review will help someone else be more aware during their purchase. The service department at this dealership is terrible. I have a 2000 Ford Focus which had a long-running fuel-pump problem that was supposed to be covered under a warranty extension from Ford. Apple was never willing to replace my fuel pump, although they did hit me with a $90 "diagnostic fee" and tried to charge me over $500 for some very simple maintenance work (new spark plugs, wires and ignition coil) that I was able to do myself in under an hour. As my car's problems got worse and worse I took it to another dealership where they immediately replaced my fuel pump for free under the warranty extension. I purchased a 2022 Lincoln in November 2021. Price Discussed: $78,555 (Sticker Price) Price Charged: $80,850. During this purchase only price discussed was sticker price of $78,555. After got home reviewed sales order and noted price charged was not what I paid. I immediately called my salesman, Zack, he knew nothing about the price charged and said it should of been sticker price and referred me to finance managed. Left message for Dylan and he called me Monday, Nov 29 and indicated there would of been destination and delivery added and I indicated that it was already on sticker $1095.00 which did not equal the $2,295 I overpaid. Dylan then went to service manager and then told me this was only vehicle on lot and there are dealer markups that gets added for cars when inventory is low and I got the last aviator. So I get penalized for buying last car and no one even discussed the increase in markup with me. I was not given option of buying car for $80,850, after initially I didn't want to go over $70,000 but there were not a lot of choices so I felt I had to purchase at $78,555. AT NO TIME WAS $80,850 DISCUSSED WITH ME, NOT EVEN DURING THE FINANCING. Very disappointed with Apple Lincoln. Appears they do things underhanded and are not true to their customers. Go somewhere else! Getting a car wasn't a problem. All the problems started once I left the lot. I bought a used jeep from them. It only had one key and the salesman promised to get in touch with the previous owners about getting the spare key. Several calls later to push for updates resulted in us spending $100 from a jeep dealer to get a new key. Over the last 2 weeks, I have been making dozens of calls to the title department with no callbacks to determine where my new plates are. The temp tag expires in 1 week. They "promised" I would have my tags by the end of LAST week but that never happened. I planned on taking my jeep out of state for vacation this week but may have to scrap that if my temp tags are going to expire while I'm out there. 7 weeks to get tags is unacceptable! Horrible, horrible place with even worst customer service. I moved to Maryland in September 2013. My previous car that I had, wasn't going to pass inspection without about $1000 in repairs. So I figured might as well spend that on a better car. So we went to this dealer looking for a good deal on a used car. The salesman got us a good deal on a 2010 Ford Fusion, car was bought in November of 2013. They give you this big speech about free oil changes and free car washes (they literally just rinse the car off with water). Fast forward to July 2014. My transmission started to go. I had them look it over, $75, and they said I needed a new transmission. This happened just after I had to replace a battery, get new rear brakes, and new rear tires. So I asked them if I had any kind of warranty on the transmission. The people I spoke too had no idea. They "weren't sure" if I did. It was like they didn't even sell me the car or even know I got the car there. Eventually they said it would be about $7000 to put in a new transmission. Dropped my car off on a Tuesday, was told I'd get a call Wednesday. I got a call and was told that my car had a "transmission problem", but the guy who looks at them and diagnosis them wasn't in. I was then told the guy would look at it Monday, a week after I dropped it off. At which point the lady asked if I wanted to get the car or leave it there. Telling that I didn't want to take it, possibly making more damage, I said I'd leave it there. So I go into the dealer after ANOTHER week, spoke to the same lady. She said no one looked at the car and asked me THREE TIMES, if I dropped the car off Sunday night. To which I replied "No, I left it here like I said because I didn't want to damage the trans further". I had to repeat this SEVERAL times. She told me to take a seat. After about 5 minutes she came out and said "The guy will look at it and give you a call". I asked about a warranty on the car and she seemed baffled. Said she saw something, but doesn't know, the guy will give me an estimate. They ended up saying I was "covered" and put in a "used" tranmission for $350. Now, we get to the fun part: July 21st, 2015. My transmission is starting to go again. I went to drop the car off and have it looked it, as seeing as I had the "used" trans for about a year. The guy said I needed an appointment. To which I replied "Ok, well I wish I would have known my trans would go, so I could have made one. This happened out of no where.". He then proceeded to tell me it would be weeks before the car could be looked at. So I said "Well how do I make the payments if I can't get to work and it'll be weeks just to be looked at?", he replied "I didn't mean that, I'm just saying we have a lot of other cars that need trans work done.". I stormed out just frustrated. He went on to tell my girlfriend that they are backed up to April with work, and the best thing would be to "go to another dealer". He then had the nerve to say that they are so backed up because "we do such great service here". You would think all the cars that need work done, reflect more on how poor quality of cars you sell and not how great you fix them? Going here was a huge mistake and I urge anyone to never, never go here. read more

Apple seems to like to pressure you into services you don't need. All kinds of flushes, etc. Another time they told me my brake pads were low and down to almost nothing, but when I went to change them on my own, they were at least at half thickness. The last straw was when I picked my truck up and the very next day it completely died on the highway! read more

I went in for an oil change back in March and was told I needed to close to $3000. worth of work done on my rear end suspension of my Thunderbird. I took it to another mechanic and they said it was unwarranted. Then I started to leak oil, not badly at first but in a few months it got worse. I called to get an appointment at Apple and they said it would be a couple of weeks before they could check it out. I took it to a Sunoco service station to have it checked out. They found that the oil filter was about to fall off because it was not tighten when I got the oil change. Yes, they do a great job selling you your car with "oil changes and car washes for life", but the wait is terrible - you have to leave your car all day sometimes! I had some things I wanted them to check out and they didn't check them out -- when I moved out to Seattle the dealership out here discovered an oil leak and a loose nut that should not have been missed by Apple Ford. Nope. Nopenopenopenope. My first experience with Apple Ford was the QuickLane service, where I took my old Pontiac Vibe for an oil change and tire rotation. Fast forward a few months, when I'm attempting to get the vehicle inspected for MD registration (at another location). The technician told me he couldn't finish the inspection because the nut on a wheel was threaded incorrectly and he couldn't remove the wheel. I ended up needing over a hundred dollars worth of repairs just so I could get my car inspected. Not okay. My next experience was with sales. We had stopped by Apple Ford before when we were shopping for my husband (ended up going with a different make/model) and had a fairly pleasant experience, so we returned when I was looking for a car for myself. The first salesman insinuated we could not afford the car we were test driving and was extremely pushy. Apparently we hadn't learned our lesson at that point, because we returned another time to drive a couple more cars. We were ready to make a move at that point, but Apple could not get us the right price on any of the cars on their lot. We ended up going to another dealer who treated us right, and when I spoke to the salesman at Apple to let him know that we got a car, he said "after all the time we spent with you, I liked to think you would have given us a chance to match the price". Ouch. I was still willing to recommend Apple to others, until that happened. Now I'm completely turned off. If they had wanted our business that badly, they would have moved more quickly to get us into a car. read more

I don't even pay for my repairs and I won't go back unless my company forces me to. I brought it in to get a recall fixed. My car was working fine when I brought it in. When I went to leave I put my a/c on blast and it is making a loud, awful humming noise and my wheel shakes when driving. The guy goes, we only changed a bolt, you'll have to come back another day with an appointment. Why would I bring it back ? It'll just come out with another issue. The fact that he didn't even want to look at it or have someone look at it is also concerning as my recall issue was with power steering, so maybe they didn't secure the bolt? Customer safety and care is not a priority. And if you only changed a bolt, why did it take 4 1/2 hours? Simple answer, sit on the bench waiting for the shuttle and you will see groups of their team members just standing around ... read more

Okay this clinches it. I had a chip in the paint of my brand new car, that I pointed out to my salesman on the day I purchased the car. My problems with getting this fix were as follows: a) My salesman said that they fired the guy who does the paint work and it would take an indeterminate amount of weeks before someone else was hired. In other words, I was told it could take months to get the paint fixed. b) I went over my salesman to his manager to get an appointment for the paint work. That was fine. My problem came about when I picked up the car 2 days later, and someone in the department that cleans and details car either 1) backed my car into something or b) another car or something was backed into my car because I had brand new scratches on the bumper. c) This ended up in another 2 days of waiting for my car to be fixed, with the only explanation that this has happened to several other customers cars that got dents/scratches from their again, crappy service department. d) It's been a week now and no one has followed up with me about the recent work done. I've only received an online survey, with no attempt at restitution for my wasted time. Bottom line: You get what you pay for when you get FREE oil changes, or service from their service department. I will end up paying MORE for work done on my car in the future because I can not trust Apple Ford Lincoln's service department to work on my car without causing additional damage, and if it does happen, their service department shirks responsibility for their actions. read more

Purchased a 2010 Ford Escape and traded in a vehicle. Months later I learned that Apple Ford never reported the trade in of my old vehicle with the MVA. This error alone would cause concern but it was the lack of response when I reported the issue that would the real problem. Three phone calls, 2 visits to the dealership, before getting the process to have the problem corrected started. Eventually solved after hours of my time were invested. I will never buy a car here again. read more

I am not happy to give out negative reviews but if this helps someone avoid the trouble I am going through its well worth it. One of the previous reviewers hit the nail on the head. They can be quite dishonest. I bought a pre-owned prius from them with an agreement for them to remove the giant scratch which they have yet to honor. The scratch removal is worth 500-600 dollars. The offer to remove the scratch expires in 30 days. So far they have given me a lot of excuses for cancelling the appointment that I've made - appointments which I drove 2 hours for and they didn't have the courtesy to call me to let me know that they couldn't do it. Bad weather is a valid excuse for a scratch removal but I'm getting the feeling they are pushing me out of the 30 days on purpose. I have a verbal agreement (not worth much) from the sales person that this offer won't expire but he refuses to give it to me writing, and that they "will" take care of it and do a great job. Other examples of questionable tactics: 1) I got a price quote from them for 11,700 and two days later I was told that the price was now 13,500. (And that another buyer was looking at the car for that higher price). The prius has been listed for about a month - I doubt the car is suddenly going to fly off the lot at 13.5K when the market had others at lower price. And I doubt that they would have a "typo" on the website for that long. 2.) The day of my visit there was a giant scratch on the side (like some angry ex keyed the car.) I was informed by my sales rep who I won't name (but is named in one of the other 1 star reviews) that they would "never sell a car in such a condition" and would have the scratch removed before I buy it. That never happened. They just buffed the area to reduce the appearance of the scratch hoping that would just take care of it. But its a deep scratch! 3.) Don't trust the Car price comparison sheet they give you. That program allows salesmen to select higher price cars to make their cars look like the cheapest. (I threw mine out immediately after looking to see if it had any of my findings- it had one local listing. Do your own research. This program looks at the national market) My source is a relative who worked for a dealership that stopped using this program. 4) I've been passed around MULTIPLE managers who played the "tough" negotiator so my sales guy will look like the good and friendly guy. The manager will say the sales man was mistaken or will "correct" a misunderstanding to their favor. (ex: I was told Prius is 13K, and that they will not remove the scratch) 5) Don't believe the "customer for life" propaganda. They have yet to prove it for me. Once I made it clear that I was completely willing to walk away they changed their tune but still jerking me around with the car scratch removal. That's worth 500. If I get cancelled one more time - I would totally regret not walking away and buying elsewhere. Tips: 1) I financed through my bank. Don't trust Apple Ford or any other dealerships to finance for you if you have the option not to. 2) Do your research. 3) Don't be afraid to walk away. There are other dealership looking to sell to you too. 4) Check out the hidden reviews too. Some valid negative reviews are sometimes hidden on yelp. I will update my review after this visit. Photos too. I even wonder if I should trust them to remove the scratch. But if i don't, the scratch can rust. See? Still headaches after the purchase. read more

Came into the "quick" lane today for my complimentary oil change because I bought the car from them. Very nice easy check in, but I was told it is a 2 hour wait for an oil change. I know they are busy on a Saturday but this doesn't seem very quick to me. My fault I have to stop being cheap and start paying for my oil changes. update. Went back to Apple Ford to buy a new car. The salesman I dealt with was everything that typifies the smarmy salesman. He kept on throwing out numbers so fast I lost track and tried to rush me into the deal. When it came down to dealing time, he called in the manager who wouldn't budge one bit on the price.
