Omg! Apple Tree is amazing. The staff: awesome, the food, even better. And the owners are straight from Greece, If I'm correct. They are the sweetest people too. There are a few thing: the veggie lasagna is in a red sause, and the meatloaf is in a brown. You get a bread basket with your meal. They have some typical Greek food. Like Lemon Rice soup ( amazing) the Gyros are pretty dandy. And the saganaki is good. You must! Try the lemon rice soup. And their Greek salad is amazing as well. Several steps above a cony island or typical diner, this restaurant has a very clean atmosphere with prompt service and delicious food! Even when this place is packed, you'll get great service and hot food. The perogi special is amazing and they're hand-made! I love the lemon rice soup. My go-to meal here is the fajita wrap. Hubs grabs the Hani. Fries are crispy and hot! Their breakfasts are delicious, too! Omelettes are large and hash browns are crisp on the outside and nice and soft inside. We stopped here on a recent Saturday night on our way to Battle Creek. We had been driving for about six hours and happened upon this delightful diner. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and our server, MeShell. The menu is huge with lots of specials. MeShell answered our questions and guided us well. I had a delicious Turkey Reuben and salad. My husband had a Cajun Burger and fries. Both delicious! I highly recommend this diner! Fun was the basket of crackers and breads delivered to each table! read more

Great family dining experience!! My colleagues and I dined here today...5 of us. We were seated promptly and drinks were expedited to the table. The server took our orders quickly and within no time our food was in the table!! Great food... Hot and flavored to perfection. The wait staff are nice, and they certainly seem like hard workers and eager to please. Unfortunately, the food really isn't very good. I ordered spaghetti there one time and the noodles were just kind of sloshing around the plate in about an eighth of an inch of warm water. More recently I went there (because I was starving) and I asked for my hash browns to be extra crispy. I realize that takes a little bit more time, but to my surprise my meal was ready in about 5 minutes. They served the spuds with a piece of ham covering them so they were steamy soggy and starchy - not one crunch. Most of these appear to be management issues, and I get the feeling that there's just not a whole lot of pride being put into the final product. Finally, there's just a few common sense things that drives me up the wall. Like how much money would it take to invest in a couple boxes of paper placemats every month or two? Do they even charge anything for the placemats that have advertisements from our local retailers and Merchants? You see, because I don't have a placemat, then after I put cream and sugar in my coffee, I have to leave my spoon down on the table that's still wet from the dirty, moist rag that the bus person just used to wipe it off. And yes, you are given a couple of cold rolls and some foil pads of butter. But no bread plate, and of course still no placemat, so I can't apply, or properly distribute, the butter on said rolls without placing them as well on the aforementioned still damp table. I know this sounds snarky, and I'm really sorry about that. But you can see how little things like this can give the impression that they are just mailing it in - just buying the food, nuking it slopping it out, and selling it. read more

And they serve huge portions- it is very rare for a growing boy like myself to ask for a take-home box but I did so here. We love this restaurant. If you don't know what you're in the mood for, go here and you'll find something for everybody. Greek, Mexican, American, Italian, it's all good. Breakfast omelettes are huge. Taco salad served in a homemade shell. My wife loves the grilled chicken salad and my father in law gets 3 meals out of the meat loaf dinner.
