I cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service I received at the Apple store Village Point on Tuesday, June 9. For 7 months I have been dealing with a technical problem with my carrier that was blocking me from purchasing a much-needed new phone. Yesterday I was at my wits end & ready to change carriers, which I did not want to do, being with my current carrier for over 30 years! I was ready to give up and on the verge of tears when I tried contacting Apple one more time. Missy practically begged me to come back to the store and let her give it a shot, which I figured was worth a try. After 2 1/2 more hours of working with my carrier, Missy, Mackenzie, and Taylor we able to help me walk out of the store with a new working phone! I have never had a bad experience with the service reps at the Apple store. They are persistent in their efforts to make it a positive experience, but the way Missy stepped up was unbelievable! Mackenzie did a lot of the phone work with my carrier, and Taylor sealed the deal by coaching me with the transfer from one from phone to the next. What a team!! read more

Usually going to the Apple Store isn't at the top of anyone's list. It definitely wasn't on mine but I had to write a review because I had such a positive experience with staff. My phone had been having storage issues with system data taking over about half of the storage due to an updating issue. I was nervous that the appointment was going to take forever and the fact I had my toddler with me added to my anxiety about the situation. Upon walking in, I was immediately met by a friendly individual who took my name and set up an appointment. They directed me to the wall of games that my toddler was more than pleased to be able to utilize. Ralph was helping me out with my phone and I really appreciated how kind and knowledgeable he was. He walked me through everything and assured me that we would get my phone back to being usable! While my phone was updating, he mentioned that they were starting a class instructing people how to use the Apple pen alongside the iPad and some apps they use with it. He thought it would be fun for my daughter to join while we waited for my phone to update. Cue Davion! Perhaps one of the friendliest people I've met in a long time?! He was running the class and was so kind in helping my child hold the pen and showing her how to draw on the lended iPad. She had such a fun time following along with him on the screen and doing a little bit of her own thing as well! After a bit, my phone was fixed and fully back (Thanks, Ralph)! Made an appointment for the genius bar for 2:10 to have batteries replaced in 2 phones. Sat around for 30 min after arriving on time, waiting for assistance. When assistance arrived spent another 20 min for them to gather information and check to see if the batteries were in stock. They were. Was then told they couldn't do the work today. Said I'd have to drop them off at 10 am the next day then wait for another 2 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

We are lucky to have this Apple Store in Omaha. Any time we've had upgrades to our phones or want to look at new items, it's always super easy to go look and have great customer service and simple purchase and set up. The store itself is super satisfying feeling, with so much organization and neutral tones, with pops of colors. There are little pods to sit on too if you have a spouse that's taking too long looking at all the gadgets and spending too much money! There are some little classes hosted at the Apple Store too, where you can pop in to learn more about setting up your iPhone, using your Apple Watch, and more. I think that's a really neat, free offering they have for the community. If you are looking for a new iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac or any other Apple products - definitely pop into the Apple Store to take a look at your options, have an assistant show you a few things, or check out all the fun accessories and add-ons you can pick from! read more

I've been going to the Omaha Apple Store since the launch of the iPad 2. Customer experience at Apple stores really depends on the attitude and competence of the employee who helps you. Years ago I had several visits where customer service was not good, so I started buying my iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches through Verizon. A couple of years ago I started having problems with Verizon activating my devices and especially with trade ins, so starting going to the Apple Store again. All my latest purchases from Apple (iPhone 15, MacBook Air M2, Mac Mini Pro M2, iPad Pro M4) have been flawless, even the ones I picked up on launch day. The Apple employees made sure my devices activated successfully and being able to trade in my old devices right at the store is a far better experience than shipping to Verizon. To have a good experience at the Apple Store, you really need to make an appointment. I think Apple deliberately set it up that way to discourage drop in visits. In my case, that works out perfectly since I do research in advance and almost always know exactly what I want before I come to the store, and usually order it online for in store pickup. If you need to try out the items before deciding, then setting up a sales appointment in advance will help eliminate frustration. read more

Great customer service ..they were very patient with us ..helping us set up 2 Apple iphones (15 pro max) we received in the mail through AT&T....they answered all our questions and backed up our phones and transferred everything ..a couple hours later we left while apps downloaded but they explained the process and what to do when we got home..they were busy but they did not rush us at all. Very well organized by sections and by what type of assistance the customers needed ...(I explained how I needed them to do everything for me and without judgement they did everything for me) Apple Store is Awesome read more

I came in with a pretty difficult issue and pretty frustrated after multiple stops trying to solve the issue. The village pointe Apple Store was my last stop to hopefully get some clarification or help. After getting an appointment set up with a different associate, I spoke with Wendi. She was fantastic. She was incredibly patient, understanding, transparent, personable, and helpful. I can't recommend her enough and she deserves some recognition!!! read more

Had an appointment for 3:15. I checked in before then, and it took 15 minutes after 3:15 to help me. An appointment should mean the time you put. Its like being 15 minutes late to a party. Been here multiple times, and its all the same. read more

She acted like she could care less about what I was there for and honestly I left empty handed strictly because of her attitude towards me. This store tends to be hit or miss. It all depends on the individual helping you out. Last time I was in the store I swore I would never come back again however, on my more recent visit, the individual helping me out with the guy you always want to talk to you when you have a problem with your Apple Watch! For that reason, I am giving the store three (3) stars which is an average of my two visits. Hopefully next time I come back, I'll have another five (5) star visit and I will update my recommendation for this location. read more

Blah. This place leaves a bad taste in my mouth every time I've had to visit. I've only ever had one employee that was kind to me, and to his credit he spent a very long time talking to me. However most of the "service" I've received here has been rude and/or unhelpful. If I'm going to drop a few thousand dollars on a laptop I think having people answer questions if the least they can do. For context I'm coming from using windows all my life minus my Iphone so I know very little about MAC. I'm not going into details, but I ended up NOT buying anything. I've decided if I'm going to get a laptop I'll just order it online. I normally do that just so I don't have to come here. I vote you avoid this place, plus parking sucks. read more

I recently purchased a new iPhone through the Apple store, and so far they are the most compliant with pandemic safety measures that I have seen in Omaha. There were three security guards at the front of the store, directing customers where to go. I got to the counter and despite the spacing and plexiglass window it was easy to understand the person on the other side. Anything that the employees touch they also wiped down before handing it to you, which I really appreciate. Every one was wearing masks and gloves inside. Even with all these extra precautions, the service was still high-quality which is what I have come to expect from Apple. Overall a good experience and I appreciate them opening the store back up. read more

I left because I couldn't get service to buy a phone. I was told by the person up front to sit and wait at a table that had 1 chair (occupied), one Apple representative, and about 15 people standing around it waiting. With more people coming into the store constantly. I told 3 people in 30 minutes that I knew what I wanted, an IPhone 15 Pro Max, just needed someone to sell it to me. Many people standing around but they were selling MacBooks and other items, and obviously weren't interested in selling me a phone. I left and went home. Over 2.5 hours wasted of my day. A five star place ... but will have to knock them down on this particular event (26 Sep 2015) I hold Apple particularly with a higher standard compared to other brands and expect the same with their stores and their staff. We reserved an appointment online and when the first "genius" offered her assistance, she directed me to another "genius", which directed me to another and then another. Long story short, none of the first 5 geniuses knew what was going on. IT WAS REALLY FRUSTRATING!! Honestly though--can you just spend an extra minute to ensure you're sending off your customer to the right person? WTF?! I have a love-hate relationship with the Apple store. Love the products. Hate the store. Not necessarily because of the giant screen, modern conceptual layout, or the fact that Apple stores are more "stores" than traditional retailers... What I really hate about this location has nothing to with the very helpful staff, the giant screen decoration with live art, or the fact that the whole thing glows like the mothership welcoming you home. I just really hate how busy it is. No chance you could walk in here on any given day and get someone's attention without an appointment. And even if you do make an appointment in advance, you have to drag someone away from another needy customer to let them know you're here for said appointment. (Where's a Walmart-style greeter when you need one... or, heck, even a computer to check yourself in???) Ultimately on my last visit here I was already frustrated because I had originally tried to SAVE myself the time and the drive here - holding my breath for a Crossroads Apple location - by shipping my phone away to a repair center. BIG MISTAKE. If you're considering a remote repair... listen up. Do yourself a favor, just suck it up, and make an appointment to come into the store. Bring a book too, since you won't have your phone while you're waiting. Or talk to your fellow human beings for once. But DO NOT trust the remote repair facility. (Long story short, if I had just gone into the Apple store I would've walked out the same day with a new phone... Instead of mailing away my phone... getting it back un-repaired without any explanation... then having to take it to the Apple Store anyway, and finally having to mail it away again to get it fixed.) So to sum up. We need another Apple store. But the one we have is better than mailing away your phone for repair. And for the love of god, make sure you have an appointment. read more

They also took the time to help me find the laptop I was looking for with memory size I wanted! It was no small feat. . Stay away! I purchased a new iPhone 15 from Verizon. Had issues immediately. Went back and they sent me to 5e Apple Store. Three trips later and three calls into Apple Support has made me realize that they are no longer interested in actually helping their customers for fear of losing the almighty dollar! There was a time when you could get a phone for a couple hundred dollars. Now they are in the thousands and the techs best advice is to not use it. Sadly, everything I own is an Apple product. I came as a walk in to get my wife's phone repaired understanding walk in's take longer. When we arrived I was directed to he scheduler who kindly took my information and problem description and told me it would be 45 - 60 min. He also said I would be notified as soon as a tech was available via text message. Knowing I would get an alert and that I had at least 45 min I took the kids to eat. We returned 60 min later and when I asked for an eta I was told it would be another 45 min??? When asking why another 45 min it was explained that scheduled appts take precedence over walk ins and oh that time is just an estimate. Way to take ownership . I get that 100% that scheduled appts should come 1st, but why tell a customer 45 - 60 min if you are not going to meet that schedule? The rep was completely unapologetic and didn't seem to care about my concerns. This would be a 1 star review but my kids were very happy to play with the iPhones sitting around. It is now 90 min from my initial check in and nothing . This is not a very good experience. Customers are also making arraignments to come to get service and have to schedule around it. I went out to purchase a new phone and was met with nothing but barriers to resolve my situation which took over an hour with multiple representatives that did not seem to have a full grasp of their product line or the product's capabilities. I ended up leaving the store with a credit to my initial purchase. Further, pricing of everything, including accessories was off the charts. I went around the corner to the AT&T store at Village pointe and was able to purchase the exact same phone, received phenomenal service, and great discounts on accessories. I was out the door of the AT&T store in less than 20 minutes for the same item with much better service than received at the Apple store. read more

The two employees that helped me were literally the nicest people ever - the first gentleman that greeted me at the door was so kind and helpful and then Sydney literally fixed the problem in like 16 seconds. I'm an Apple gal, from iPhone to iPad to iMac - but the heavenly experience I remembered from a few years back is but a distant memory. Horrible snobby guy working the front door. Reminded me of an old bouncer at a relevant nightclub back in the day. The one with the very important clipboard waiting to tell you sorry...you're not on the list. He tells me it will be an hour and a half wait to look at my phone. It's Monday afternoon... half a dozen workers are standing around in pairs doing literally nothing . I said how about any of those people, can one of them help me? He said NO They are in SALES! I said well, if they are selling the product then they should certainly know how it works. I'll have one of them help me. This enraged the snobby guy working the door and he raised his voice to me yammering on about my needing to set up an appointment for an hour and a half later and how silly I am because I could have set the appointment up from home duh. This caught one of the "sales" guy's' attention and I waved him over. He was very very nice and said he was not a tech guy but was definitely willing to look at the phone nonetheless. He suggested I set the appointment for the hour and a half later in the event that he couldn't fix it and so we did. Well he fixed it and I was very happy about that. Bad review because I basically had to cause a scene to get help! I'm fairly confident that a guy who works at the Apple Store (in any capacity) has some understanding of the phone beyond mine and can at least troubleshoot. Or how about this APPLE.. hire 3 or 4 less sales people and train 3 or 4 more tech people if your wait times are that long at 2:30 on a Monday. I thought the landscape was amusing seeing the abundance of sales guys standing around looking to sell you something but then there is no help once you buy the darn thing and come back in looking for some help. A wait time is a wait time, I get it. I live in a civilized society and I follow rules. But the guy's attitude is what really got me. Like he was delighted to tell me that there was an hour and a half wait like it made him feel so important and wielding. As someone who loves Apple Products I love going into the store to check out the items they have on display. At first it seems slightly intimidating as you somewhat expect to get bombarded by staff, but they tend to leave you alone if you tell them your just browsing. The new iPhone XS MAX just came out and there was a line out the, door of people waiting to talk to someone , I told them I was just looking at cases and they let me right in. They did say if I wanted to buy one I would have to go back out to set up an associate to purchase. ( little more on that later) . My son and I walked in and even though they were busy it didn't seem overwhelming crowded and we were able to look at product without being pushed to the side. I had purchased the new phone online so went looking for a case. After finding one I wanted , instead of having to go back out looking to get help to buy it, I just purchased it through my Apple App. As soon as you open it, it knew my location was inside the store, I scanned the item and paid through the credit card on file, was very fast and easy, after paying on the App you just walk out the store with it, no questions asked. ( How they know your not stealing it,, I have no idea, but it always has worked. ) . My son loved looking at all the tablets and Beats, so we spent a lot of time in the store. One Thing that I think kind of sucks with Apple in general is with the supply and demand, when it the store a few weeks later to try to buy a new watch but they were sold out of almost every single one of the new ones. I don't tend to settle for one I don't truly want as Apple products are so expensive. This is not store related,, so it does not change how I feel about it. This is solely regarding the ease to make an appointment at this particular Apple Store. One word: Impossible. Do they really expect us to make a 2 or 3 hour drive to Des Moines/Kansas City to get someone to take a look at our computer? We should be able to make appointments at least two weeks down the line. Instead they keep referring you to their online system which just keeps telling you to take your computer to another STATE. Why do I even bother to buy Apple Care which costs $349 for the full package (which I have) when I can't even take my computer in to have it looked at?
