I schedule an appointment today for 3 PM. I came in for a screen that was no longer working on my iPhone 5s. The staff told me that they would replace a screen for 130. The test and recalibration of the screen to be done at 4:20. I did not leave the store until 530. The staff were apologetic multiple times for the delay. And I left with a replacement phone so overall, I stayed later than I expected. I had good customer service and got a phone that works well. read more

Stopped in for the first time ever to an Apple store. Was greeted promptly and asked what they could help me with. I explained a problem I was having with the internal gps. He told me the next available appointment was in 45 minutes. Yet there were four employees just standing there holding their tablets. The greeter suggested I call Apple support. AWFUL!!!!!!!! Just plain and simple awful!!! They were unhelpful to the max!!! Some dude with dreads helped me and instead of just simply diagnosing the problem had me erase my whole iPhone, only to come back and say that Apple could not fix it and had me dial a phone number to talk to apple to get a replacement phone. He then suddenly left and never saw him again. He had some other guy who had a European accent come over and "watch me"....The guy absolutely was of zero help. Not only did the service at this store suck... I was mansplained computerese.. (as was warned by other reviewers) but Apple in general has been sucky I wrote this to their page.. Dear MAC, I am writing in this forum (apple store) because it was impossible in a short time to find a better forum to complain. I have been an Apple fan for many yearsand on my final zillion dollar computer. The reason for my affiliation to MAC products is because THEY WORK. They do not use time to defrag, fix, figure out or learn a great deal about. But this legacy is coming to an end. you are building obsolescence into your products, I have to buy a new IProduct every couple months, I am over you.. After 25 minutes of not even being acknowledged I asked someone for help. 20 minutes later I tried to ask again. 10 minutes later I left without my iPad mini. While this place is full of shiny things that you want, it's not so easy to get them. Especially without waiting around for a rep to help you. Plus, so expensive my goodness wow. If you have a broken Apple product, by all means do not walk in here expecting to score a meeting with a genius bar attendant -- you know the people who will help diagnose and fix your unit. No, you need to make an appointment at least a day or so in advance. And don't call, either. Just make your appointment online. Also, you know you're pretty much screwed if you need an appointment with a genius bar attendant in the first place. If you're looking to buy a new unit -- laptop, iPad, iWatch -- this is a decent spot. But it's also so crowded to the point where claustrophobia may set in. If in Omaha, I recommend heading to NFM's Mega Mart or Best Buy to buy Apple products. You know how big box retailers are seldom busy these days (especially Best Buy). Omaha could seriously use a second Apple Store location, specifically one that is not in BFE. Apple Stores are fun to visit if you want to play with gadgets. If you're looking for a deal or a visit that lasts less than 30 minutes, you might want to shop elsewhere. read more

This is the worst apple store I have ever been to in my life. They are actually telling people that they have changes their policies on replacements in the last five years which is a complete lie because last year I had to keep replacing my phone for things not working on it and never paid a cent and here they charge you for a new phone. WTF. People don't believe what they tell you there. On top of that, a guy there had to pay 200 dollars to replace his iPhone because his speaker wasn't working right after the manager told us that it's free if it is manufacturers defects. I have never encountered such horrible customer service in my life! The senior manager, Michael Hollman, was so rude to my wife that she came home crying! When I went in to demand an explanation, he was rude, condescending and basically said that they have so many customers every week he doesn't care if some of them are upset. Store is horrible. If you ask a question they act like I was stupid and shouldn't be bothering them. Sales people have no idea about what they are selling. I bought Air Pod pro. Supposed to get free engraving. It didn't happen. Supposed to get email receipt and got nothing. Couldn't even get a bag for my purchase. The salesperson gave me change and then just walked away. Apple has a reputation for overcharging or at least being very pricey. Their service calls can cost $30 and their iPads... I don't even want to think how much lunch money that thing is. Somehow, I caved in and purchased an iPod Touch last year. Very recently, the wireless internet for it stopped working so I took it here. Fearing I would have to pay a large sum of money, I was very relieved when the store employee held it for literally a few seconds and then handed it back, explaining it was a minor technical issue and the visit would require no fee. Don't get me wrong - Apple is still expensive as a share of Berkshire Hathaway, but this recent visit deserves 5 stars for the customer service and (lack off) cost. read more

Problems again with the iPhone 7 hardware. Screen this time, just stopped working. I expected the poor service we have been used to at the Apple Store in Col Springs. Boy was I wrong! Made the appointment, and the Genius Bar was right on time and got started when I walked in the door. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and tried to replace the screen. But the new screen still didn't work, so guess what? New iPhone! Didn't beat around the bush, didn't try to blame me for the problem, didn't delay. All trademarks of our previous experience with Apple Stores. The Genius helped me transfer all my stuff, and initialize with my carrier. I was out the door with my new iPhone in about an hour. Went to the store to discuss an issue with our iPhone charging and finally died. We were met with, plugged in our iPhone (didn't charge), so we were sent to another person who used his phone to look into the charging port, and said the device looks clean. The staff told us there was nothing we could do other than make an appointment a week out or be there at 10:00 AM for walk ins. Although we both work days...so that wouldn't work. I asked if we could check in our phone. Answer was yeah. Make an appointment to check it in! No one apologized or said anything about the frustration we were experiencing. We chose Apple. Outside of doing real estate and being at my office, this place is a second home. The people here are like no other. Apple's credo is "Our soul is our people," and it definitely shows here. From the moment you are greeted at the door, to the time you are connected to an employee you feel a part of a special family. How many people do you really need working in one store? I thing there are always about 15 employees here, and one will help you with looking at a product, then pass you on to the person that you pay, and they another teaches you how to use it..... Gimmie a break. I was extra impressed with the two "geniuses" that were joking with each other while several people looked like they could use some help. I am a HUGE Apple fan! I have bought almost all my Apple products there! They sell all Apple products, including iPhone, which Best Buy for example, does not. I recommend going there rather than going to Best Buy because their customer service is THE BEST HANDS DOWN!!!! The in-store support is very fast, and they have lots of lessons on how to use Apple products! The downside is that it is usually noisy from all the people there, but at nights and on weekdays, it's the best time to go. read more

Who doesn't love the Apple store? You get to check out all the new gadgets, or maybe you're lucky enough to be purchasing a new product for yourself. Whatever it is, the Apple store is almost always a pleasant experience. Over the weekend I stopped in to get a new computer (insert happy dance here). I had a couple different people help me, both were great and very helpful and fun to talk to. They were able to move a few applications from my old computer to my new one, however at first they were going to have to keep it for a couple days to do this (and they charged me $99, but I didn't realize that until I left - but I came back and they fixed it). Since I was only transferring a couple things they were able to do in the store for free. The main person helping me was Jeff, and he was great! He even stayed after work for about 45 minutes to ensure everything was transferred properly and my new computer was working properly and my old one was restored to factory settings. Great customer service, and as we all know - great products! (Ohh, how could I forget? They also love my pup, and always give him attention anytime we come up - that is stellar customer service in my eyes!) read more

I live 2 1/2 hours from Omaha. I bought a MacPro in 2016, thinking I was getting a new computer. Turns out it was manufactured two years earlier. I don't buy repair contracts; I told the sales rep at Apple that I expected for that price I would get a computer that would stand up. I don't take it to the pool or the dinner table. It died two years later. After a number of hours on the phone with tech people, it was determined that the computer had to be sent in. The repair was a complete motherboard replacement and it cost me $515. Ninety-nine days later it crashed again. Now it won't even boot up. Apple told me to take it to Omaha, but I can't. Someone could take it there for me, but the Apple Store won't even take it unless I come in. I just bought a Dell. I like the Apple systems, but they're no good to me in a lemon computer and with a lemon Apple Store. Goodbye, Apple. read more

I've been to about 6 or 7 Apple Stores, mostly in the West and Midwest and this one is by far the best! Considering they are the only Apple Store in over 130-140 miles, they are well staffed, courteous and always ready to assist with a smile. The Venue: It's an apple store, the store basically looks like what people in the 60s thought a spaceship interior would look like, but instead of cool sci-fi gadgets you get well made, over priced, apple stuff. The Service: Awful, freaking god awful... My girlfriend's phone needed a new battery so we went to the store to see if they could replace it. They offered to replace it then and there but my gf did not have a recent backup and chose to make an appointment for later that week. The closest appointment they could make was five days off on a Friday so Friday it was! Friday afternoon she showed up at 6:30pm for the scheduled appointment, waited in line for half an hour, then was told they did not have enough time to replace the battery so she should come back the next morning. On our third trip to the apple store she showed up when it opened, waited in line for another 45 minutes to be seen, and when she gave them her phone they stated that they didn't like the tiny crack in her screen so they would not replace the battery. They also wouldn't just sell her the battery, and stayed that if anyone else replaced the screen (thus alleviating their crack concerns) besides them they also would not replace the battery!?!? F'in outrageous! Three trips to the store, all the waiting in line, she even had an appointment and this is how they treat people? Awful. The Cost: Apple products are very well made, work well, and are overpriced. I'm an all around apple person, I don't use any other brand. Apple has proven to me time and time again that paying a little more for their products, pays off in the long run, any other brand of similar products I've tried always end up in frustration. With that being said, I'm really not a fan of the Apple store. I've bought my Apple products at best buy or Nebraska furniture mart, except for like one or two things. Sometimes those stores even have them for a little cheaper and are 1000% less busy. If you need to talk to someone about a broken product you have to have to make an appointment in advanced because they are ALWAYS BUSY. I went in earlier today because my MacBook is looking to retire soon so I am in the market for a new one. I decided to buy directly through Apple this time because they are offering the $200 off for students with a pair of free beats headphones with MacBook purchases right now and other retailers are not to my knowledge. So ANYWAY, I am greeted promptly at the door and they ask if why I'm here, I say to look at MacBooks and they nicely point me in the right direction. So I go look at all the MacBooks and I'm really hoping someone comes over and asks me if I need anything because I had a TON of questions. I currently have a MacBook Pro so really I just wanted to know the difference between the cheaper ones and just which one would be a good fit for me now. Nobody ever came to help me. Several employees walked by and looked at me but never asked me if I was doing ok. I finally found someone standing near by but when I asked her to help me she said she was just there to help with accessories, but she did come over and answer a couple of my basic questions and she said she would go get someone who could help me better... nobody else ever came over so after a while I left because I figured I would be able to purchase a MacBook faster and get home sooner if I just drove across town. Maybe they were understaffed today, i don't know, they were busy which is why I was patient for a long time, but even after going up to someone nobody came to help me purchase it! read more

This store employs not enough employees and the ones who are employed there act as though they are holier than thou UNLESS you are there to purchase an item or you are a new customer. Why? Because of commission. If you are an existing customer, they will lie and tell you otherwise but my fiancé followed me one day, I needed my phone fixed & he was purchasing me a new Apple Watch. I was told to come back a week later or I could take a chance and be waiting outside the next morning when they opened but still no guarantee I'd be helped then was told to please move along. Now my fiancé acted as if he did not know me, was helped right away. The salesman was very helpful and my fiancé asked, y'all work on commission cuz I want to make sure that the right person is credited? The salesman said, YES! GTFO! You can buy Apple products anywhere so that store should treat existing customers better. They smirked & rolled their eyes. Completely unprofessional. Surprise, surprise (5 star review) coming from me. Former Apple Employee (twice) and lover of all things Apple. Pre-ordered the iPhone 6 and came early on Friday morning to pick it up. Staff was super friendly and the whole release was so well organized. Two lines - one with at least 300 people waiting. Incredible. I got connected with Branden and he couldn't have been more helpful. Ridiculously friendly and genuine. He rang up my iPhone and case and got everything situated with Verizon. Very conversational and excited about the release. I always have a good experience at this Apple Store, and being there for launch day was fun. iPhone 6! read more

Wow! Today was the BEST experience I have ever had at this store! I have had to replace the SmartKeyboard for my iPad Pro twice since new. Today, they were having trouble reading the serial numbers and were swamped. But, Amy, Kevin, and two others (I'll be darned if I can remember their names... one was Mexican and the other dark hair and glasses) were absolutely upbeat, positive, encouraging and knowledgeable. They were just as frustrated with the product as well. At the end, we got both keyboards replaced with smiles! I won't be so hesitant to go in, again! They all did fabulously! (I went in, put in my request for the Genius Bar appointment, then went to Bath & Body Works and had a taco at Fuzzy Taco and was texted promptly... maybe 20 minutes!). Well we came here to ask about receipts since store charged it to a card number we didn't know. The service guy name "Kyle" Or "Cale" (glasses, SnapBack hat, and a beard), told us in a condescending voice that a card can't "magically" appear and when we tried to ask more questions he replied with "nope" to each one. I understand if he doesn't know the answer to the question, but he was extremely rude and wasn't welcoming or helpful at all and seemed like he was mocking us. The staff is usually helpful. They want you to leave happy. Unfortunately, the store gets busy at times and waiting is a bit long, but those who complain should go to other cities where there is no room to breathe at some stores. Also, I agree everyone would like to have to be taken care of ASAP and have their things fixed quickly, but not all issues are the same and some things take longer. At the end of the day, it is up to you to wait but that is how things are and you may leave with your issue fixed rather than sending your product in the mail and getting it back 2 weeks later. read more

I love Apple products. I hate going to this store. Every time I go there I have to wait 30-60 minutes before I can talk to someone, even if I'm just there to buy something off the shelf. This isn't just for walk-ins; Scheduling an appointment to have my phone repaired left me waiting 45 minutes after my appointed time as well. When trying to discern why there's such a long wait, I've listened in conversations and it sounds like Apple fans are there hanging out and socializing with the geniuses. Yes, I'm sure they scheduled an appointment to go over the latest updates for Pages or Keynote. But man, all I want to do is buy a stinking iPod for my kid. Like someone else mentioned, I hate to rate the actual store so low because it is beautiful, the products are available to mess around with, and when I finally do get helped the transaction is super fast. Show up at the store and there's a line of 20-30 people out the door waiting for the new iPhone. I had a memory issue with my 4 year old MacBook Pro so I contacted Apple Care via telephone appointment, received an incident number, a quote and an appointment at this location to resolve the issue. I drove 60 miles only to have the price more than DOUBLE!!!!!! I was told "those phone guys don't quote our work, this is what it costs, this is what it always costs." I called Apple "Care" and related all the particulars, right down to the dates, times, Apple personnel with ID and incident numbers and they just called me back and said, basically there was nothing they could do??
