When there's nothing to eat in the middle of the night, Applebee's is usually a good choice. This location was a miss for me. The most nastiest place I've ever seen when you sit down the tables are dirty. The booths are nasty. The bathrooms are disgusting. You go to use the bathroom. All three stores are full of tissue and tissue all over the floors. While in town for the week, I Came in last night for some dinner and a couple drinks. As usual I sat at the bar and was greeted by Lilly! She was great, very friendly and always attentive. I started with a corona. I also ordered the pretzels & beer cheese for my appetizer. It came out pretty quick so I waited a little to order my food. Lilly made sure I had drinks every time I ran out. For my entree I ordered the Sirloin with broccoli and mash potatoes. The food came out pretty quick. The steak was delicious and cooked exactly how I asked. The mash potatoes were good and had great flavor but the broccoli needed something to make it good too. Maybe some butter or salt and pepper, but that's just me lol. I still liked them though. The atmosphere was good. They have enough tv's to watch the sports you want to watch. Also if you don't see something you can always ask for them to change the channel. Despite the bad reviews I always like to check out Applebees when I'm out of town. Overall it was a great visit with great service. I will def come here again before I leave! read more

I came here to to enjoy sum food after a very long drive and it bought maybe sum Applebees would be good cause any one I've been to has been amazing.But I walked in and was greeted nicely once I was seated I was instantly givin menus and drink but after 10 mins We still haven't got food but then after we got our food, everything tasted amazing until we were almost done eating and there were multiple hairs in our food, which is obviously really really gross, but we didn't say anything and even after we tipped everybody, we started looking around while we were waiting for our waiter to come back. It took her 15 minutes to come back, but during this time we looked around and realized the place was really, really gross. There was holes in the ceiling look like it was collapsing. It could definitely be better, but I'm not gonna deduct too many points because that is not the employees fault for the ceiling. Bout froze to death in this place and when asked to turn up heat was told that then the cooks would get hot. Basically the patrons don't matter as long as the cooks are happy. Got our apps before we got our drinks, a child ended up eating their yogurt with a fork because waiting on spoon took so long. Other child had broccoli in his drink cup. Absolutely love this place and the service is amazing we had a server Sunday afternoon around 2pm I think her name was Tiffanie (probably spelled that wrong haha) and her manners and service was on point. She was able to get me my order and make sure it was correct. My husband ordered the 12oz ribeye and it was literally cooked to perfection. The food consisted of a ribeye with garlic, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The ribeye I had gristle all the way around in my scarf in the middle, the garlic mashed potatoes have no garlic flavor whatsoever and the broccoli was totally uncooked and could've went on a salad.! I ate here twice. The first time I had no problems and thought it was great! The service is so nice, I have zero complaints about that. However, after eating here for a second time I am a bit disappointed. First off, they brought my meal out on a paper plate, very ghetto.. and yeah I understand it is Applebees but I've never experienced anything like this even at other Applebee's location. Shortly after my meal was brought out on a paper plate, my boyfriend notices something on the floor. He says "What is that?" And points towards the floor. It is a roach. A baby roach crawling across the floor next to us lol. I literally never leave bad reviews and I was hesitant to even leave this one but I am a bit disgusted. I understand bugs will be bugs and it doesn't exactly mean they are a "dirty restaurant" per say but after the paper plate being brought out I was already on edge about my meal, although I ate some of it I lost my appetite quickly after seeing the roach. The overall experience was comedic because I just was so taken aback by the whole thing. Again, the service was amazing and our waitress and hostess were so so sweet and lovely! But, if you're someone who is picky about the spaces you eat in I wouldn't recommend this specific Applebee's location. read more

My husband & I dropped in at Applebee's on a Sunday afternoon after church. We did have the expected wait to be seated, but that's normal for Sunday at lunch anywhere! Once we got seated (20 minutes tops), our waitress was very attentive. We had an unforeseen showing for a home we were looking at and she helped us to get our food quickly and then get us boxes and our check so that we could make it in time! We went for dinner tonight. The service just plain sucked. The waitress was horrible. We had no silverware, no napkins and no plates for appetizer. She never came back after we got our food to see if everything was okay, or if we needed anything. I was watching her bring drink refills to all the other tables and she ignored our table. I don't usually complain. I usually just let it go, but tonight I got the hostess and asked if she could please send the manager over. She said yes ma'am the waitress heard the hostess tell us that she was going to get the manager then the waitress decided oh, let me be nice and see if they need anything. I told her yes I check in the manager please the manager came over he could not have been more than 2627 and when I told him that the service stunk, he didn't know what to say. He said he would talk to her that's not gonna do any good. I told him we would not be back and that the food was good but the service had definitely gone downhill since we had moved to the area a couple years ago. there is no need for that kind of service they were not busy. read more

I come here after work often as it is one of the only places open later. Usually the food is very good and the service okay. But, they are always having issues with silverware!! It happens almost every time. And tonight the server wanted to give is plastic forks!! I was NOT amused! Applebees is just a sure bet and when I'm out in BFE visiting family my choices are very limited. That being said I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. The service is always spot on and the restaurant seems to be very clean and kept. One thing about Applebees I really like is that they offer a lot of different meals under the 500 calorie threshold. That makes it easier for people like me looking to make sure I don't over indulge mistakenly. This Applebee's clearly needs work on the quality of food and service. We enjoy their food when it is cooked right, but the last couple of visits the food has gone downhill tremendously. We love the Bourbon Street Shrimp & Chicken. They have changed the way they cook it and it was way over cooked our last visit. The Chicken used to be so tender and juicy, but now it is dry and tough. We told the waitress and she said all of it comes out that way now, because they changed how they prepare it. We have also had several visits where we have had to wait on our order to be taken for 45 min. Then over an hour after that for our food to come out. I will have to say that the last waitress we had was very good. It was the food that was very disappointing. I hope others complain so they go back to cooking the Bourbon Street Shrimp and Chicken correctly again. read more

I was under the impression that half and half iced tea was 50% sweet tea and 50% unsweet. Our waitress set me straight by informing me with the correct formula of 90% sweet and 10% imaginary. Service was poor. Would not see our waiyress for long stretchess. The food was prepared correctly. Restrpom was filthy with trashcans overflowing. Take a pass on this one. read more
