We are here before we went to Horrocks. This location is on the Lakeview Square Mall. It sits right next to Buffalo Wild Wings. It's sort of weird but we sat at a table with a wall of glass that looked out over the entrance of the mall and the entrance to Buffalo Wild Wings. The mall closes at 7pm so we watched the patrons file out while we ate. We did not have to wait for a table and our server was friendly. She was a bit busy but there was a food runner so we didn't have to wait long for our app or entrees. We had the chicken wanton tacos. They were really good. There are 4 in an order and it was perfect to split them. We did not wait long for food. We did wait for our check. Strange mix of patrons - so if you like to people watch, get a table by this glass wall and just enjoy the show. When you're done, go to Horrocks and wander around there, too. read more

The Spicy honey mustard chicken was so yummy! It was a huge piece of chicken and hand battered. The bar tender was awesome, friendly and suggested to get the pepper jack cheese on the chicken sandwich, which made it even better! The food came out fast and we didn't have to wait long at all. This easily could have been a 1 star or less if it wasn't for the manager being kind and considerate. Our server was obviously new. I get it, everyone is new at some point. But if you're new, at least act quickly and don't make people wait. We first ordered drinks and an appetizer. Apparently they don't have captain Morgan. So when the drinks came out I then had to order something different and wait for a beer. From there, it was slow at the restaurant, but our app didn't come out until about 2 minutes before our food did. Server did apologize, but didn't even bring us our extra beer cheese...food was all brought out, except for mine. Also, my some had mashed potatoes instead of fries. I ordered a neighborhood double burger with fries and got a side of the 5 wings for $1 deal. The wings were out so I thought perhaps just a minute on the burger. Server wasn't to be found but then I saw the manager and asked if he could check on the burger and fries for my son. Burger came out and had about a half order of fries with it but did bring fries for my son. My burger was cold, the top patty was about 3/4 the size, and it did not have the garlic sauce or mayo or whatever it was supposed to have on it. It was awhile before anyone came back and I just returned the burger and fries after one bite and just asked to have it taken off the bill. The wings on the side were ok but generally over cooked and light on sauce. All told, I wasn't expecting a 5 star meal, but I've didn't expect it to be like that. Good restaurant with menu options for everyone! My husband and I joined the live waitlist during a road trip, and our table was ready for us when we arrived. Great feature! All restaurants should offer that. My husband ordered the quesadilla burger (made medium) and fries. He LOVED it and would recommend to anyone looking for something different/a nice fusion of Mexican and American cuisines. I ordered the double crunch shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli instead of the coleslaw and fries. Very delicious! I was pleased with the size of the shrimp and shrimp to breading ratio. The mens bathroom stalls were locked and I didn't want to crawl under the stall to unlock it, they messed up me and my family's order 4 times. They tried to server me a whiskey burger when I asked for a bacon burger. My mothers steak wasn't cooked the way she asked. Overall we had a bad time here waiting for 30+ minutes for food. Customer service was bad and we got ignored and forgotten about plenty of times. I almost walked into a light hanging from the ceiling which was my fault, should've expected a light to hang down from the ceiling at eye level. In from out of town and we haven't been to an Applebee's in years so we stopped by because it's legit around the corner. Lots of open tables, but they were short on staff so we waited a few moments for a table. Once at a table our waitress Tina was quick with a pen and drinks, and food. The kitchen didn't do her any favors, but she was working hard. She had a full table load and everyone had kids so she was hustling back and forth. We had a small problem with wings that weren't super hot and she grabbed a manager and pulled him over. In 2 seconds he was away with a plate and returned moments later with new wings that were fresh, crispy and hotter than the blazes of hell. He even stood by to make sure we tried them and were satisfied before we left. It was a small hiccup, but it was handled fast and professionally. I would for sure go back and ask for Tina. *as we were leaving we saw a sign in the parking lot that said "Applebees 200 sign on bonus" My wife thinks I should put the same sign in front of my office if that will help me find quality hard working employees like Tina. read more

Weird giving a computerized order. Can't customize it but only use the prompt answers to choose from. Queso dip wasn't to impressed by. Pub pretzels and beer cheese dip was excellent. Great flavor and the pretzel were soft and chewy. Spinach artichoke dip was great tasted full of flavor. Hubby enjoyed his boneless wings. I did car pick and the line went smoothly. Takeout is so much easier when you have 3 kids. Next time we will order more of the pretzels and cheese. read more

Finally a manager came and took our drink order and then our dinner order. The server came and brought our food to us but she seemed like she was busy doing other things to help us. When she brought our food, she just put it on the table and walked away. She never came back to ask us if we needed anything else or to refill our drinks. Applebee's food is good but the all you can eat 14.99 I felt isn't really all you can eat. #1 the first plate Is 4 little riblets the have bone all the way through them so really not alot of meat on them and by sm I'm say 2×4 to 5 inches . Ok so you have to wait for your server to reappear then you ask for seconds and the bring you 2 even smaller pieces of riblets instead of 4 and then they don't stay readily available to you so you just say forget it. ​pay a dollar Xtra and get a regular meal because they purposely manage this promotion so that you do not get all you can eat. read more

Showed up and we were able to take a seat at the bar right away and order our food and drinks. The bar was a bit messy with used napkins and empty glasses from previous patrons, but it was soon cleaned up after we sat down. I ordered the Bacon Chicken Sandwich and it was pretty good as I opted to add crispy onions to the sandwich for no extra charge. Honestly I don't think this place is that good. I got their ultimate drink strawberry pineapple mojito and it was way too sweet. Then I ordered the honey bbq strips and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was pretty bland and boring. The chicken was good though. Another day I came and they forgo the fried onions on my bbq burger. The waitress did ask to remake it which was a good solution and mistakes do happen. It's not really my favorite place. The food is okay. read more

Still have a few people standing around talking that should be sweeping. But I am sure he will take care of that soon. The food has been better. The staff is always nice though that is one thing. ************** I have given this place too many tries. Every time I go there the wait staff forgets about you. People come in after us and get served before us. We sat waiting for drinks that never came. The kiosk screens are always covered in greasy fingerprints and the floors always has food smashed into it. The Marshall location is the same. Sad for the chain their management is not better. After waiting for 26 minutes we never got a drink and yet people who came in after us already had drinks and appetizers, we walked across the hall and got seated immediately, 3 minutes later had drinks and nachos. DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE PHYSICALLY DISABLED AND REQUIRE A WHEELCHAIR OR OTHER MOBILITY AID. I recently went to this Applebee's in an attempt to eat dinner with my in-laws and husband. My father-in-law is in a wheelchair, so we asked for a wheelchair accessible table. After waiting for 15-20min for a table they attempted to seat us at a booth with a chair, but said we could NOT move the chair from the wall so my father-in-law could sit at the table with us. They essentially wanted him to sit next to our table, but NOT at the table. When we asked why they would ever seat us here or why we couldn't move the chairs they said it was a "safety issue" with no further explanation or options other than wait another 20minutes for the ONE SINGLE low top table that was wheelchair accessible. That party had just been served their food so it probably would have been longer than the estimated 20min. How does a restaurant of this size have ONE wheel chair accessible table and they don't even keep it empty for disabled folks?!?! It really seemed like this Applebee's didn't want to service disabled folks. We went across the way to Buffalo Wild Wings where with no wait we were promptly seated at an actual wheelchair accessible table. read more

Not a good day for Applebee's. Even though there were only 3 other small groups to be seated it took 15 minutes to seat just the two of us. Once seated it took another 10 minutes to have our waitress greet us. We ordered our meal and drinks at this time. After she left our table she went off cleaning tables around us. Then we saw here delivering a bill behind us. 10 minutes later she came back with our drinks. Total time 35 minutes for a sip of iced tea. It didn't take long to get our food. I got the chicken fajita roll up and my wife got the oriental chicken salad. Mine was good but the salad had almost no lettuce, only cabbage, carrots and chicken. Our server noticed that I needed a refill and promptly returned with another tea. After finishing my meal and sitting with an empty glass in front of me I watched the Michigan v Ohio state game on on tv above the bar and waited for our bill to arrive. Total time of arrival and departure for a salad and a roll up was about an hour. Even thou it was a slow start I enjoyed my roll up and the wife has had better salads on previous occasions I would still recommend this Restraunt. read more
