Me and a buddy stopped in after work tonight and both ordered a soda and the $15.99 all you can eat shrimp/boneless wings/riblets. The waiter was clearly in a poor mood and seemed frustrated to be there. After taking our order, our waiter did not come back to check on us again unless we specifically called his attention to us, which I finally did after almost thirty minutes. I asked how much longer our FIRST plate of the all you can eat deal would be out. The waiter disappeared again and left the empty cups without offering a refill. Five minutes later the food comes out, I had started with fried shrimp and my friend with garlic Parmesan boneless wings. The waiter asked "can I get you some extra napkins or extra silverware?" despite having not given us napkins or silverware to start with. We asked for silverware and he left, once again leaving empty cups. My first bite was met with a lukewarm breading and a patch of ice cold shrimp in the center. My friends garlic Parmesan wings had miraculously been replaced by buffalo. I tried another shrimp and found it to be just above room temperature. We both decided to eat what was in front of us due to having an hour drive home each and not wanting to wait another 30 minutes. The manager saw that we didn't appear satisfied and came by to tell us that she had discounted the meal to account for the issue. The manager and waiter both walked away, AGAIN leaving empty drink cups. Abandoning any hope of my waiter or the manager making the bare minimum effort to simply refill our drinks, I walked the empty cups to the bar to get my own refills. I asked for the check and the waiter brought it to me along with the correct wings for my friends order in a to-go box, which is the closest thing to customer service we got that night. I opened the check to find a $5 discount on our $41 ticket. I already had my card out but the waiter immediately walked away. Ten minutes later he returned with the receipts. I had to flag him down AGAIN to get a pen to sign the receipts. Ultimately, the staff at this location all appear frustrated and angry just being there, and it shows in their actions and their words. During our visit I overheard staff members half-heartedly apologize to every table around us, whether it be the wait time, cold food, or an order being wrong (I guess we just hit the trifecta). The service at this restaurant is non-existent, the quality is standards are lower than a RaceTrac pizza. If you are looking for a decent meal, go across the street to the QuikTrip gas station and see what you can find in the trash can. You'll get a better meal, and infinitely better service. read more

If I could give a negative score, I would. The hostesses had us waiting 10mins with no greeting or acknowledgment. Once we asked her to seat us she sighed and gave us attitude so we asked for her manager. (Mind you we are NOT the type to ever complain). Once we were seated by the manager who honestly didn't give a fuck about anything we were saying, the waitress was super nice and we loved her. But unfortunately once our food came out and we took a few bites we noticed and big and had to leave. I wish my husband was more of a foodie. He's too boring and simple, only to venture as far as same types of food and new city. Applebee's is not very vegetarian friendly. Forget vegan friendly. The restaurant smell like old laundry while walking in. They didn't dry the towels and let it sit or something. I just got the caesar salad, okay, not the best. I wish they had a veggie platter where I could pick 3-4 sides. Nope. The caesar salad was a chicken one and asked them to put the chicken on the side and give to hubby to eat instead. S L O W ! They need someone to get this place into shape. Tonight we saw several employees standing around while customers were waiting to be sat, waiting on their checks, and waiting for their food. My husband waited 20 minutes for a beer. Ive been staring at my 3 children's empty cups for the last 30 minutes. At several points during or visit there wasn't a single employee on the floor. Hideous chicken, broccoli and alfredo dinner that I sent back to kitchen. I noticed a stench like death, and I didn't know where it was coming from until I smelled the chicken. It smelled like rotted meat. My husband worked at a meat processing plant in VA, and he said the chicken smelled like the dead cows. I had the waitress, Saniyah, smell it. And I told her I couldn't eat the dinner. So, she took it back to the kitchen and had them make me a cheeseburger instead which I had to take to go since we had been there forever. With burgers for my husband, daughter & me, 2 glasses of wine, and tea, plus $16 tip, the total came to almost $95. But even today I cannot get the memory out of my brain of the complete stench of that chicken. I tried to order another chicken dish w/shrimp, and she said I wouldn't like that either because the same chicken is used. I was wondering if I should call the health dept. re: the chicken. We (tried to have)the all you can eat promotional meal. Well the server was forgetful, and seemed way too overwhelmed, we got one plate of food each, and then nothing for 20 min, turned out she took our food to another table, so we got to wait more time. We finally just asked for our check and the manager. She at first gave a song and dance saying she was going to charge us for the two plates while taking our sons meal off. We said not good enough, so they discounted it further. Frozen food re-heated, poor service and annoying dingbat laughter when she screwed our order up. This is twice that we have had a bad experience at this location. On National Cheeseburger Day, which was September 18th, we stopped by this location for burgers and fries. We were seated quickly and the waitress was prompt in taking our orders. The burgers arrived and looked great. The burgers tasted much better than the last ones we ordered at this location. As far as the fries... well they were not hot and did not taste fresh. It was as if they were cooked earlier and had been sitting in the kitchen for awhile waiting to be plated on the next order.... whenever that happened. My beer was cold. By the way I had to go to the waitress station to get silverware since the waitress did not provide us with eating utensils. Plenty of free parking at the door. We probably will return but this is not a "destination restaurant" we would seek out just a place to grab a quick bite. read more

It was a disgrace by the time it closed; tainting childhood memories of good times with my dad. AND I was really missing the Four cheese mac with honey pepper chicken fingers. Last night I found Applebee's reborn. From the oriental salad dressing to the mashed potatoes, every bit of the meal was prepared with care. My date and I each had Long Island Iced Teas. We chose the 2 for $29. He opted for the 8oz sirloin and I being a creature of habit got my usual. Everything was better than it needed to be. Our bartender/server Kristen never stopped moving. She made drinks for the whole place and still managed to keep us taken care of. Even at less than full capacity (Covid related), the place had a good time atmosphere. We went on Father's Day 2021. We were being waited on at a table by the bartender. She came to our table maybe 4 times. She didn't write anything down when we ordered. Didn't ask how we wanted our burgers done, what kind of sauce with our chicken or what kind of dressing with our salads. I sat without a drink for 20 minutes before she came by to refill it. She said, "coke?" I said "Pib." She of course brought me a coke. I was over charged for my plate. I asked to not be served the platter version. I was given the plate version of my meal but charged for the platter...maybe if she took our order like a professional she'd have gotten that right. Below nursing home food. After ordering our food and waiting 35 minutes our server told us our food was almost ready. Then we were told they were out of what we ordered by the manager who said she recommended something different and we were "welcome" for her providing that recommendation. We were nice and agreed to change the order to what was available. The food was below nursing home quality. The mac'n'cheese was overcooked penne with some sauce, a little cheese and some bacon. I know good food and this was the foulest thing I've ever seen. I walked past another table who had the pasta also placed on the edge of the table refusing to eat it.
