WHAT?!? This TERRIFIC restaurant is about 12 mins from my house! Just off Duluth Hwy by the ALDI. My son came here with friends who recommended it- he came home RAVING!!! Tonight he suggested it & we went to dine in. Super casual, but also a somewhat party atmosphere without being a party place. Make sence?! I didn't think so... let me explain. Walk in- very nicely decorated 2 room casual restaurant. NOT a walk-up order & make as you go... NO! A restaurant with the NICEST servers who immediately make you feel like you just walked into your moms house! FULL bar!!! Ordered drinks, ordered queso... DELICIOUS pico, chips... great! Big menu & some interesting choices. The same Mexican food, but not. Just look, you'll see. I ordered the burrito Asada with the salad (lettuce/tomatoes) & it comes with rice... OH MY GOSH... the FLAVOR!!!! Nothing like tex mex. BETTER!!! Y'ALL- my husband ordered his 3-taco I forget the name. His EYES ROLLED BEHIND HIS HEAD! Y'ALL... just go!!! GO.... You will NOT be disappointed. Oh, LOL... the same little strip is shared by a tattoo studio. Lol!!! GOOOOOO, but DO NOT BLOW THIS PLACE UP! I loved the few folks who ate inside, the flow of pick ups, the family laughs by the staff, great service & AMAZING FOOD!!!! Keep this place respectful & cozy!!!

Our new favorite spot for tacos and margaritas. Looks to be a small family run restaurant. All the tacos we've tried are great. My favorite has been the chicken mole taco. Their guacamole is fresh and the margaritas are amazing. Most of the flavors are fresh fruit.

Everything was delicious. The food came out fast and had lots of flavor. The inside is small but very cute. All the servers were sweet constantly checking up on us. The mango margaritas were really good we got them frozen. The birria tacos were some of the best we have had in the area. I would definitely recommend.

Great spot in Lawrenceville area if you're in the mood for a yummy margarita! Their food is also super good. My favorite thing to order are asada tacos and al pastor tacos! (: 10/10 The service is great, everyone is so kind and attentive as well. The ambiance is great, they play good music & they have 8 big screen TVs where they broadcast sports so you never miss a game!

The lady who took our order was very friendly. She also brought our food out and checked on us a couple times. Great customer service. All in all it was a good experience. One and done.

Young lady at the counter was very personable and told me that the only tacos that were $3 were the OGs which were chicken, pork with pineapple, and barbacoa beef. Well I didn't want those so I ordered what use to be my favorite fried green tomato with feta only now I think it is goat cheese so definitely not as tasty as I remembered and a Cajun shrimp that had 3 shrimp that the life was cooked out of them! Didn't bother to eat it. Also, got a chips and queso for $6.25 and the chips are so hard that I thought my partial might break! So took my queso to go and left the chips. The music was still great and the staff still friendly but man the food isn't at all like it was I'm sad to say.... even after using my $5 bday coupon and $4.24 cash reward from toast that's been in my account over a year my total was still $12.54 including a $2.77 tip! Way too much for half eaten food IMHO. Doubtful that I'll be back.

I ordered about 5 tacos for a corporate lunch about 20 minutes from our office. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience this time. The food we received was burnt and overcooked, as seen in the pictures below. One order of tacos was actually a quesadilla instead. When we proceeded to call the restaurant to inform them they insisted that we drive 20 minutes back with the burnt food and the receipt in order to receive compensation, however due to the distance from us that was impossible for us to do and they could not provide us any other alternatives. The manger we spoke to was also very rude and unapologetic of actions and proceeded to encourage us to dispute the charge via our own bank accounts. Very unpleasant and rude staff which was disappointing considering we order from here multiple times. Would not recommend for corporate lunches and was disappointed in the lack of empathy or apologetic manner from the entire staff.

The facilities were modern, very clean and the staff, very kind and helpful. The food was delicious with the majority of the patrons being from Latino descent. We ordered chips with queso, 2 tamale and taco meals and a Carne Asada. Tasty, moist and flavorful tamales (one chicken and one pork with mild red sauce) as well as delicious tacos (Al pastor and birria). I've heard good things about the mole sauce but they were sold out of it. The steak was a little tough but the flavor was delicious. Honorable mention to the rice and beans and guacamole! Wow wow wow. The portions were really great also. So much so I needed a box for my taco. Overall great value with a lunch meal for 3 with an appetizer for about $50 bucks. Great experience!

We stopped by at breakfast-time and ordered: breakfast burrito: flavorful and good, plus easily split into 2 meals. comes with chips or fries. Fries were perfectly cooked and had a tasty seasoning on them. $13-14 breakfast plate: This was ok. It's billed as a scramble but is griddle scrambled and the eggs were very very hard cooked. I would prefer an overdone egg than a soft egg, so that was ok, but I would order them differently if I returned. There were lots of tomatoes, peppers and onions which was nice for flavor, but there were so many that there weren't many "curds" of scrambled eggs if that makes sense. The refried beans might be the tastiest I've ever had. The rice was "ok". The soft corn tortillas were very fresh. If not housemade, these are coming in every day for sure. $13-14 Rajas and cheese tamales: Didn't try these because of the cheese, but they were medium sized and smelled good $4 each Vegan black bean tamales: These come in banana leaves, which I've not had before. I could do without the flavor of the leaf, which is actually pronounced (this surprised me). The masa was lovely and the black bean filling was delicious and well seasoned. I like to pan fry my tamales to reheat and they were stellar the next day. $4 each The staff was friendly and handled accommodations (no dairy, corn tortillas instead of flour) smoothly. I would go again if I was in the area.

Not at TLH, but PERIOD. It was that good. (I'll have to think about it a bit, but it's definitely in the top 5.) My single complaint: it wasn't hot. It was warm, but not hot. Didn't make it any less wonderful, but I would have liked it a little warmer. The meat was perfectly cooked and lean. The green sauce was extremely tasty. The rice was nice and buttery. The green beans with onions might actually have been the best thing on the plate, or maybe I was just in the mood for sautéed green beans. For my appetizer, I picked esquite, which is basically Mexican street corn (elote) cut off the cob. It came "separated," meaning that they didn't mix it together; I got a HEAP of corn, some mayo, some crumbled cheese, and chili powder, and mixed it to my own favorite ratio.
