This place was fire. Came here Saturday night while in the area to watch a soccer game on tv and have a meal. They did not disappoint. This place was all vibes. I ordered Margaritas to drink that were pretty strong. The guacamole was really good, we wanted more! I had chicharron tacos that were great and we also tried the chicken and chorizo tacos. Their house sauces were tasty as well with enough spice. We sat here for hours, and the staff was really nice and accommodating. read more

I visisted this restaurant for the first time on Monday at the suggestion of my friend, I can say the food was good but the service no so much. There was a slight language barrier but it was doable. The problem occurred when we got the bill, we were over charged and an item that we didn't order was on it. We told the waitress but again slight language issue so she got the manager. We asked why was the prices on their menu was not what we were charged and that an item was added. My friend informed him that we were paying for the amount given to us from the menu, he refused stating the prices on the qr cide menu was higher. My friend told him that was not fair because maybe he would have gotten something different because of the cost. He refused to honor the prices and the menu and removed the flan which was not ordered. He ended up losing three customers on that day. Right is right and wrong is wrong. If my friend had not looked at the receipt we would have been charged for something we didnt even order. Came across as very shady. We careful patrons and look at your receipt should you chose to visit this establishment. read more

This is a small but very clean Mexican restaurant. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere feels welcoming. The warm chips and delicious salsa are a great start to the meal. I highly recommend coming on Wednesdays for their birria tacos -- they're absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place. read more

My friend and I were very disappointed with our experience at Taco El Poli in Lawrenceville, GA. First, we were charged for a flan dessert that we didn't order. When we tried to explain the mistake, communication was difficult because the waitress only spoke Spanish hardly any English. To make matters worse, every item on our bill was priced higher than what was listed on the menu which the waitress gave us. When we brought this to the manager's attention, he simply told us those were "old prices" and that there was nothing he was going to do about it we had to pay the higher price anyway. If the menu is outdated, customers should be informed before ordering. Charging more than the menu prices and refusing to honor them is poor business practice. Adding an item we never ordered only made the experience worse. Unfortunately, because of the inaccurate billing, lack of communication, and poor, rude customer service from management, cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

Our new favorite spot for tacos and margaritas. Looks to be a small family run restaurant. All the tacos we've tried are great. My favorite has been the chicken mole taco. Their guacamole is fresh and the margaritas are amazing. Most of the flavors are fresh fruit. read more

DON'T EAT HERE - BAD MANAGEMENT I ordered around 11:50am today, Friday April 4, 2025. I ordered a total of 6 tacos and cheese dip. My order total was $29.73. The online order process was smooth and when i completed it there was a message saying to expect a text and that it would be ready in about half an hour. I never got a text, and got wrapped up in work, I arrived at the restaurant at 12:43. The door was locked, lights off, I peeked in and saw chairs on tables. I knocked on the door, no answer. When I tried calling (multiple times) it rang a couple times and then hung up. I don't know if the food is any good, since they TOOK MY MONEY AND DID NOT GIVE ME MY FOOD. I encourage everyone to not eat here, and I'll be leaving this review elsewhere as well. read more

Love the new look. The decor is simple but nice. Took the spot where La Social was. Now they have a full bar. The food is top notch. Service is great. Got the Birria tacos. They are delicious. The tacos taste good as that is the only item I have tasted. I ordered the asada burrito and the caldo de pollo. It wasn't what I expected. The menu in the pictures are not updated. The burrito does not come with rice and salad or green sauce. The soup is broth with rice, avocado and over cooked shredded chicken. I like the concept of this restaurant but the value is lacking. The tacos will set you back about 5 dollars per single taco. It looks like another great place for a drink but an after thought for food. The music inside tends to be too loud for simple conversation. The decor is nice and service is good. My husband had the pollo a la plancha. It had no flavor whatsoever, he said they just slapped a chicken breast on the grill. He had to put mustard on the fly just for it to taste like something. I was driving just happened to be in the area and wanted a bite to eat. I stopped in and Erik recommended the Birria. I come from Las Vegas where I can get authentic food anywhere and have had the best of the best. I happened to LOVE it. It was amazing some of the best birria I have had. They gave chips and salsa, salsa is SO flavorful. Their hot sauce was great. The service was awesome, Erik was amazing & very friendly. It's like a fast food, sit down and be served kinda restraunt. My daughter and I are always in the mood for Mexican food so since we have not tried Taco El Poli we thought we'd give it a try. It did not disappoint. The service was over the top! Very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and the cheese dip was fresh and not watery as in most places and with freshly cut jalapeños! I believe it was the manager or possibly the owner sat down with us and helped me with my order since I had so many choices and was having trouble deciding... the drinks were amazing but there were a couple we wanted to try and will definitely try them when we go back. We both agreed that we were going to return soon and will make it our go to for Mexican food from now on. We highly recommend going here!! read more
