Food was good and service was good but i feel i was ripped off. I order the ribblets platter. It has always came with 5 over the years. I asked why it only came with 3. Asked if it was a plate instead. He said no it was the platter but due to covid and meat shortages it only comes with 3 unless you ask for the other two. I said well yes i would like it. He got me 3 and two little chunk pieces. Everything was good. Got the bill. charged 10.99 for another basket. I asked him why. He show me he took two dollars off. And explained i asked for another order. did he not explain it right? i said no you didnt. He stared. I didnt have time to fight over it and so i just paid and left. read more

I recently visited here while my grandparent were in town and let me say..they portion size of food you receive has shrunk a lot. Frost they messed up our salads, then when they brought the appetizers, they were half the size of what they used to be, and once the food came, it was just okay. The wait staff was nice, but nothing special. A big turn off to me was, normally they have music playing. There was a sports game on and they had that going over the PA instead and it was rather loud to. If you were trying to have a conversation, all you could hear was the announcers from the game. Just found this kinda rude. Also for what we got (2 for 20) it seemed really expensive. At the pieces of that I could have when anywhere else and got double or triple the food. Enjoyed a dinner at Applebee's tonight -- what a treat. Started off with the spinach artichoke dip. Always a favorite. My only complaint would be there were not nearly enough chips accommodate the savory dip. Then... The four cheese Mac and cheese .... TO DIE FOR. If you love carbs, cheese, and honey glazed chicken fingers than this dish is for you. All in all, a good experience. read more

Every time I have ever been to this Applebee's (which happens, unfortunately, to be a lot since it is my mother-in-law's favorite place to go...long story) I have, at the least, gotten a horrible stomach ache, usually followed by worse symptoms. I would never recommend this place to anyone, and I avoid it at all costs. There has to be something to say for the fact that it is right next to Walmart. read more

I used to live in Michigan and I forgot just how un-friendly people can be here. When I asked for a burger with the veggie patty, the server looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language - literally. She was defensive even. Applebee's, why don't you make carrying a veggie patty standard at every location?? All of your food is frozen for cryin' out loud, just stick some in the freezer! So, I had to get a salad minus the chicken. It sure would be nice if places would give me extra veggies when I take off the animal protein. Oh well.. it worked. I'm highly disappointed in them changing the chicken quesadilla and spinach and artichoke dip the portion is way smaller and quesadilla use to be way tastier then it is on the new build your own menu, otherwise the food is good. read more

We decided to go to Applebee's for dinner, well, because there really wasn't much else around and we are not from this area. I am SO glad we did! Our waiter, Lonnie, was tremendous! He was personable, funny, not overbearing, engaged well with our 6 yo son, and seemed to time his check-ups perfectly! It isn't often you get a server that is so on-point like he was. It was refreshing to sit down and enjoy a meal without having our server in our face the entire time or lacking personality, attentiveness, and no memory. Lonnie was on it. Well deserving of his tip. I would stop in again if we were ever to go through this area. I would also recommend this Applebee's with the request of our waiter. He truly made our experience that much better. I love Applebee's! It's one of my favorite restaurants! Me and my husband go there at least once every 2 weeks. The only issues I have had, are when we go on a Sunday versus any other day the of the week, our food order is never right on Sunday's. The manager was very kind and understanding when we made our complaints and took some of our order off of he bill. He should've given us our meal for free in my opinion. We are regular customers. I don't know if whoever is cooking on Sunday's are just slacking, and they don't like his/her job, but me and My husband will never go back there on a Sunday.. Any other day if the week our food is fantastic and the waitress's and waiters are very nice and the service is great. read more

I LOVE APPLE BEES!!! the only advice i can give to those who are first trying apple bees stay away from carside to go. You dont get same amount of food and really it isnt as warm or seem as fresh as when you go dine in. besides you get to see all the local history all over their walls and enjoy sports on the tv and a drink in your hand. great food great friends great prices....DINE IN ONLY!!!! read more

I have been to this location many times. The food has always came out quickly and tasted how I expected it. The waiters and waitresses are generally nice and help if things get spilt. That being said I cannot give this a perfect 5. The food never wows me and sometimes it can feel like you are rushed to eat. As I've only had this happen once out of the many many times I've ate there I still believe it deserves a 4 out of 5 read more

My husband, my two small children and I went here last weekend when we had to get some shopping done near by. The waitstaff were excellent. Our waiter (I wish I could remember his name) bantered back and forth with my husband, which was great. We had the pretzel sticks, which I thought were really good. The cheese/beer dip was my favorite and my husband favored the honey mustard. Our kids got the corn dog with fries and fried shrimp with apple dippers. Both were a big hit! The juice boxes were really big, which was nice (some places give you tiny ones... so you have to keep asking for more). My husband's burger was fine. I had their caprese chicken thing. I love caprese, but having it served warm with chicken over mashed potatoes was strange. I wont say it was bad, but it was definitely a strange flavor profile. The waiter was really nice, chatty, witty and fun. He changed gears quickly when we got our bill early and stuff (the girls were starting to get fussy, so we get our bill when our food comes in case we have to make a quick exit). Overall, I will be going back because of the great waitstaff. read more

The prices keep going up and the portions keep getting smaller, food quality is also on a steady decline.

The food is always excellent, however, the menu doesn't change much. Actually, at all, in the last year I have been going. It is yummy food, but it gets boring after awhile. One of the hostesses is nearly always rude. One time she refused to seat us even though there was obviously clean and empty booths, her excuse being that she didn't want to overburden the server in that section. I believe that if a server cannot handle tables assigned, well, too bad. I'm a paying customer. I shouldn't have to stand in a frigid and drafty door way, waiting for a table to open in a different section. The following should reveal why we won't be going back to dine in anytime soon, meaning at least a year, maybe more. No less than 10 times, while we were EATING! did the server ask us to donate to St. Jude's. Prior to, he asked several times. We were trying to be diplomatic about it, demurring somewhat, but my God! This guy would not quit! It was horrible! I would encourage anyone who is interested in going to dine in to check and see if they are having a fund drive beforehand. And donate to your charity of choice on your own time. read more

A lot of young punk kids work here who have attitudes, better off going downtown Charlotte to drink if you're looking for a bar! If you want overpriced alcohol with your chain-restaurant food, by all means eat at Applebee's. read more

Excellent steaks, and make sure you get the crispy loaded potato as your side!
