Four-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders

Intact dead cockroach in food. Was compensated but the manager never spoke with us directly. Bartender was very polite though.

Decided to give this place a chance after it's disfavor since it was the only place nearby that was open late. Really busy for a Tuesday night, I could only imagine it on the weekends. Seemed to be a little short staffed considering the manager brought out the appetizer after we had got our main meal. That's beside the point the wait wasn't too long although the fries weren't SUPER fresh but a little on the cold side. The boneless wings were average but the guac was just unfavorable, definitely not made fresh in house I'd say it's the prepackaged kind.

Last time I paid $50 plus a $10 tip ant the appetizers were better came back and voiced my concerns it was supposed to be 2 for $29 plus tax and all she took off was the drinks and the appetizers look like the picture

Overall , food was good and satisfying. I was hesitant to come to this place due to all the bad reviews, but I was willing to take a risk . The place was kinda empty , and we still had a long wait time for our food , roughly 35 minutes . When the food came out , it wasn't exactly fresh however . Some of the appetizers are also very over priced , they cost almost the same as some of the main entrees . My experience here was good , I think this place gets a very bad wrap , the food is good and leaves you very satisfied and full , and the customer service isn't the worst . This place is obviously short staffed, which is why their customer service and speed isn't the best . CLASSIC CHEESEBURGER W/FRIES : My burger was warm and my fries weren't necessarily hot and crunchy , they were a little soggy and cold . However , the burger served its purpose , basic cheeseburger, decent sized patty with really good buns and fresh toppings . It could've used more cheese but it's okay . HONEY BBQ BONELESS WINGS The honey bbq boneless wings were tender and good , but the breading was very thick . The celery it came with was surprisingly fresh . Ranch sauce was a little bland .

This is the 1st time in about 7 years that I have been to an Applebee I must say that Jessie the hostess was wonderful... a family of 6 was so rude to him. I wish I could have slapp the hell out of the the woman yelling at him & telling him to do his job. Then she had the never to ask to speak with a manager, because she is spending money here and she should be seated before the 30min wait time..... wow.... Ricky our server was GREAT... the food was AWESOME...

We had never been here before but have always heard good things about it. I ordered the Breakfast Burger with fried potatoes. It was a burger with a hard fried egg (that's the way I chose my egg to be cooked) & bacon between powdered French toast. I can't remember if it had cheese, it might have. It came with a side of syrup. It was really good! The thick french toast slices were hearty enough to not get soggy while eating this burger but it also had no condiments on it so it was a little dry in that regard, but I don't know what I'd put in there, maybe a mayo. I think my brunch meal was $15 or $16 but I think it was worth it. I can't remember how much my strawberry margarita was but it was worth it, even though I didn't drink it all. It was a little too strong for me for before noon & be able to drive away comfortably. The restaurant was nice & clean & lots of people were there for brunch & lunch. It seems indeed to be a happening spot. In my photo you can see my friends chicken & waffles order. She actually didn't care for it but for me ' what I had, I'd recommend.

Granted, the restaurant was pretty busy but NO ONE greeted me. I witnessed the pregnant bartender tell an older woman that she hadn't waited on me. I wasn't checked on again until 7:48pm when the older woman asked if I wanted another glass of wine. Absolutely not! It's very obvious you have to know them in order to be served in a timely fashion. When I received my to-go order, I noticed the lobster roll looked very wet and mentioned it to the bartender. She explained that it was prepared more like a lobster salad. Unfortunately, once I tried it, I found it extremely disappointing. It tasted overwhelmingly like vinegar and lettuce, with only a few very small pieces of lobster that didn't have much flavor at all. The sweet potato fries were excellent, but the lobster roll itself was inedible for me. For a dish that should be a highlight, this was a major letdown. The kitchen may need additional training or quality control to ensure consistency and proper preparation.

We were seated in the booth next to the entrance. By that time there were many empty tables and lunch service was winding down. The bar remained full of what seemed to be regulars, based on interactions with staff. Despite groups of servers busing tables (4 servers and a hostess bussing a 2-top in front of us) and constantly walking by it was over 15 min before a server approached us. With the claim of "best burger in the south" we ordered 5 burgers and 1 hamburger steak. It took 40 min to receive our food. The crinkle-cut fries were very good. The burgers were large. We ordered at least one of every burger on the menu and nine lives up to the designation of best burger in the South. Every burger was overcooked and the buns were large but dry and crumbling. You must ask for condiments to dress your own burgers. Pickles, lettuce and onions are on the side. Bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. The pimento cheese was plentiful. The hamburger steak was a slice of meatloaf with onions and gravy, "nothing special". After receiving our food we did not see our waiter again (refills, condiments, etc) until we asked for out check. We were unable to get water refills during our meal but to-go waters were offered with the check. There is outdoor seating with umbrellas. Several TVs throughout the establishment. The menu offered a good number of options. With a large number of high-top tables, large bar and multiple TVs thiabwas a more casual atmosphere

The combo appetizer included sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks, wings, and nachos. The nachos…read morewere pretty basic--nothing special, no real cheese, barely any toppings. They honestly don't need to be on the menu. The mozzarella sticks were surprisingly flavorful with a nice crunch, but they came with way too much breading and only three of them, which felt stingy and odd. They definitely should've included more. The sweet potato fries had decent flavor but were under-salted (as fries almost always need after frying) and came out a bit limp and sad-looking. The hot wings weren't labeled as boneless or bone-in on the menu, but they turned out to be boneless--which is fine. They were a good size, but the "hot" sauce was extremely mild. It needs way more heat to live up to the name. Now, the ranch... this ranch is incredible. It's creamy, deeply flavored, and has the perfect amount of dill--it's practically divine. I could rave about this ranch all day. The Zombie drink comes in a cool skull glass (limited to one per person), but it's basically 99% ice with very little actual drink. I could barely taste any alcohol--maybe I have a high tolerance--but the flavor was solid. Still, it's pretty pricey for mostly ice. The John Denver cocktail also looked great in its presentation, but again, mostly ice. Thankfully, the flavor matched the menu description exactly, which was a pleasant surprise. The patty melt was solid overall, but it needed more salt and pepper for seasoning. My egg was overcooked (fully hard yolk instead of the runny one I was hoping for to ooze over the patty). The avocado was only on one half of the sandwich, which seemed strange. I'd have preferred a slightly thicker patty too, but I do appreciate that it came on Texas toast--even though the menu didn't mention it. All patty melts should use Texas toast. I added a side salad, which looked nicely artisanal, and--once again--that amazing ranch took it to another level. The regular fries that came with the Rodeo Burger aren't regular at all--they're battered and had great flavor and crisp structure. They were excellent... except for the missing finishing salt that every great fry deserves. The Rodeo Burger itself was cooked perfectly, but like the patty melt, the patties needed more salt and pepper. The egg was again overcooked (hard yolk). Beyond that, the flavors worked well, though the jalapeños were surprisingly mild and lacked punch. The bacon was spot-on--not underdone, not overcooked, just the right chew without being tooth-breaking. Overall, the food has potential, but seasoning (especially salt) is consistently missing, and a few portions/quality details could use attention. That ranch, though? Absolute standout
