Horrible service, took them 15 minutes to get us our waters and assorted drinks. They dropped the drinks off and didn't even take our order we had to wait for them to come back and take our order. Then it was another 35-40 minutes to get our food. My food was wrong I asked for no bacon and there was chopped up bacon in my pasta, because it was chopped up it was impossible to pick it out. I didn't tell them it was wrong because it would have taken another 30 minutes to get my food. They need to take requests seriously I cannot have bacon and there was so much bacon in the pasta it was inedible. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Absolutely trash service. Ordered the honey chicken Mac and it had no seasoning. The chicken was hard as rocks and noodles were over cooked. How do you fuck up noodles? And when we tried letting them know that we didn't have any sauce, their solution was to have us drive up there and pick up the sauce. In from out of town and after a long hike, this place sounded good. Got sat quickly but then waited for our server. When he did get our drink order, it took some time to get them. My beer sat up on the counter for 7 minutes before someone else brought it. Timed it because I do these reviews. Beer was no longer cold but didn't ask for a new one because who knows how long it would be before I got another one. He got our food order when dropping off my moms tea. Ordered an appetizer of the 2 for 9.99. Spinach artichoke dip and side caesar salad. Which came out at the same time as our food. Took 20 minutes to get the appetizer. What was the point of the appetizer if it was going to take that long. We, my mom and I, got the 6o.z. sirloin with loaded baked potato and garlic string beans. Steak was supposed to be cooked medium, came out medium rare. The garlic string beans were not garlicky our salted. Was very bland. Baked potato was cooked right. I got the Bourbon St. Chicken and Shrimp. I had no problems with my order. Was cooked perfectly. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the food was mostly cooked correct. Would have given one star if not for the food. Got a total of 3 beers and none of them were brought by our server. And sat on the counter each time. Was not served one cold beer. He did not look that busy, so I had a hard time understanding why everything took soo long. read more

I made this account specifically to give this restaurant the bad review it deserves. They managed to waste a whole hour of my life. I only got my appetizers. The entrees and dessert never even made it to the table. Apparently they gave our food to someone else. I left there hungry, angry and disappointed. Never coming back here again. We went to eat there yesterday. Which was Mother's Day. We expected it to be crowded but that is no reason for the food not to be correct. My plate of pasta was cold. My husband ordered a steak well done. It came out cold and and rare. Trying to eat it made him gag and get it stuck in his esophagus. The waitress apologized when I had to rush out o make sure my husband was ok. Then she said she gave me a discount but it did not show up on my receipt. We love to eat here but it was a really bad experience this time. We also saw two couples leaving without ordering or getting their food. I wouldn't recommend this Applebee's. I for one actually love Applebee's but this one has really bland vibes. The Music is lame and it's usually full of older people. Also, I ordered here through doordash to pick up and I was told they didn't have my order. So I called doordash thinking it was their fault and they told me that Applebee's confirmed my order. The lady was already really rude on the phone. And the mix up led to my food being cold. My dessert was melted and doordash ended up reimbursing me for Applebee's fault. My husband and I were looking for Soup and Sandwich 's. We just stopped in at Applebee's. The waiter must have been overwhelmed, I asked for a Vegan menu , he left to find out that there was not one and he took quite a while to get our drinks and appetizers, so someone else brought our dip and chips, with our meal. This Applebee's is better than most I have been to. The service is great, atmosphere is great and best sit down in Cove for a group.

Extremely disappointed. I tried the new premium BLT Handheld (sandwich) and the bacon is overcooked chard bits if bacon prob used as crumbles over salads. The primary meat source in a BLT *is* bacon... At the very least the bacon should be fresh cooked and in whole pieces. This BLT is horrible. read more

Closest restaurant to the hotel so we gave it a shot. Glenda had a regular burger while I tried the new Brew Pub Philly. The philly was really good except the ciabatta bun was a little hard. The fried jalapeños really added to the taste! Service was quick and friendly. Brought us the wrong dessert but fixed that really fast. Since moving to Copperas Cove the Applebee's Grill & Bar has been very disappointing and I understand why most have stop coming here. Rude waitress and waiter don't listen and preoccupied when taking orders. Table are dirty, floor looks like Texas Roadhouse full of trash and food. I would definitely not recommend anyone to dine here or deal with the terrible customer service here. There isn't many fine dining in Copperas Cove and unfortunately it all we got. So as we were waiting on entree the manager (Tim) told our waiter that they were out of food. There are not a whole lot of places to eat in Copperas Cove, but the bar area is nice to sit and chat with friends but I do not like the new jukebox setup doesn't seem to fit the environment and becomes just a nuisance when you're paying for drinks and now you have to pay to listen two songs that are really inappropriate for the type of restaurant to me leaving the music choice is up to the crowd at a family restaurant is probably not a good idea the food is so so and they've changed out brands of their beer on tap. Not my favorite brands but I'm sure somebody's drinking it or they would have done it.. Had a great time, decided to stop in for a quick appetizer with a friend a little after 12:30 AM. The bar tender and the manager were very entertaining and took interest in a large majority of our conversations which was great. Both seemed to have a really good sense of humor and I didn't expect that at all The food is standard, not really much more to say about that its not bad. This being the first time I was there I asked if those two people happened to be in there often and he stated they were not. We were sat by the hostess and then completely ignored by the waitress. She didn't even acknowledge that we were there. We waited 10 minutes while she visited the table behind us 3 times. The restaurant wasn't that busy. So, we got up to leave. I gave the hostess the menus and told her what happened. She offered to seat us in another waitresses area, but, I was already done. Went there with some other couples to eat dinner after church. The waitress took our orders, and after about 15 min our food started arriving. I had ordered the chicken caesar salad, and as i look at my plate i couldn't help but notice that all around the rim of my plate was smeared ceasar dressing and parmesan cheese with fingerprints imprinted( it looked like they dumped the plate and scooped it back in). Sent the salad back with another server, then OUR server came up and asked what was wrong, which i informed, then the manager came and asked the same damn question. "OK sir we will get a new salad", they brought out the same plate with the same prints and messy rim, trying to pass it off as new. As my friends and my wife continue to eat, and almost finished. I have had zero to eat the whole time, no comp appetizer or anything. I'm getting hungry and i told them to go ahead and place in a to-go container. The manager brought my to-go salad along with the checks. The manager had the gall to charge me full price of 14$ for a damn salad, I told her to shove it, i am not paying, nor was i compensated for sitting there twiddling my thumbs watching my friends eat. After getting home, we noticed one steak was rare, like BARELY BARELY cooked rare. The other which was written on the container as "medium well", was cooked medium. Our sampler was missing the MAIN dipping sauce, the spinach dip. The portions were no where remotely close to the menu. We paid over $50 for a garbage dinner. Not to mention they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. It ended up being closer to 30. This place has progressively gotten worse over the years. My wife called to inform them of their mistakes and they said they would mail us a coupon. So at least we have that going for us. It is rare to go to an establishment and have everything done right. Tonight we enjoyed the baby back ribs with Chipotle sauce. The sides were fresh, the fries crisped to perfection and lightly salted. Usually when you go to high traffic places for ribs, you end up with salty ribs. This is NOT the case here. Also, there is a massive pot hole in the parking lot that they know is there because their answer was to throw a cement slab or two in the hole attempt to fill it. Before that ordered a lemon lime Budweiser Seltzer only to be given a orange sugary soft dink. When I told the waiter that I ordered a Seltzer berths said they didn't have that. I do nothing but take out car side to go. This would be the last place I would recommend! First of all I patiently waited fort the hostess to greet us after about 3 minutes no exaggeration. Then I order 1 drink and a 2 for 25$ and a tea. Now the tea was never refilled. The first steaks came to the table well done, I specifically asked for medium when I placed my order. Then when I try to pay on the machine that is at the table, it says I owe over 53$? Then the manager comes over because I'm heated at this point. Comps the meal and goes on to say that I should not cuss out her employees. Well first of all I do not need anyone to pay for my meal as if I was a charity case. This place is not one that i would recommend when dining in the service is slow and food unflavorful. I have ordered food to go several times and they have not once gotten my order correct. When i address this issue with management it was basically blew off as oh well things happen. Since i couldnt return at that moment to have my food remade i was told they cant make it the next day. Came for happy hour. Margaritas have too much sweet n sour. I ordered a frozen margarita and it looked white and.tasted light ice. I sent it back and ordered the perfect patrons margarita.
