This may have been the worst Applebee's I've ate at. I may have only ate at 1 but the chief here didn't know what he was doing with his chicken and chicken quesadilla but there burgers are highly suggested I'll say that. read more

The first thing I'd like to do is praise the waitstaff and management for trying to accommodate us and make us comfortable diners. When we entered the place somewhere around 8:00 p.m. one night, the music on the overhead speakers was really loud, playing awful pop music. So we asked the hostess to see about having it turned down, which happened, surprisingly, fairly quickly, plus the manager came out to apologize and ask us if the noise level was better. Very happy at this outcome. But the music was still too loud, especially over by the bar, and we asked again if they could turn it down so we could talk. The hostess went back to the manager again and turned it down noticeably, so it was finally bearable. Our waiter Daniel was awesome, too. Can't fault the staff, and this was my first Applebee's experience. The food wasn't too bad but one saucy thing had a lot of sauce hiding whatever was beneath it. They also brought out the wrong dish the first time for one of us but fixed this right away. Not fond of chain restaurants so can't say we'll go back. read more

First, they need to train the staff on how to answer the phone. When customers have questions, the proper response shouldn't be "What?" over and over . Food was OK....though the kids complained the breast meat in their chicken tenders was gristly and cartilage-y. read more

Ordered our food online. My spouse picked it up and when she got it home, nothing was what we ordered. Called them and drove to return the wrong food and pick up the right food. Got home and compon3nts of the meals still missing. Never going there again. read more

Very very very bad experience at this place I love Applebee's but this location is horrible I went there my first time and I ordered a chicken Tenders when I got the chicken I started to feel in my mouth a crunchy pieces which wasn't cooked that good i complained and they change the plate for me but the next time which was my last time I went there I ordered the deal they had by two meals for $20 so I ordered a chicken with the sauce on top of it and rice. When I got the meal I started cutting the chicken and eating after couple seconds I was chewing the chicken thought there was a plastic piece inside my mouth so I took it out and I saw that it was a plastic. It's the wrapping food or whatever it was when I complained The manager came apologize and left he did not take the meal or charged it he only took the plastic and left. I don't know how he thinks I would've choked while eating that piece of plastic inside my mouth with the food. That was an awful experience. I don't see how they set him as a manager for a company like apple bees. read more

The waitress, kassaundra L Couldn't get the appetizers before the actual meal, and gets the Order wrong. When we ask her to change the channel at the beginning for the sports game, she was "ya I will" but I guess she forgot. The meal is over and she just came by saying she forgot, just like our appetizers. read more

You go to Applebee's for the good deals. Although the food is good enough, it's not great or memorable. The food is worth it if you're looking for a cheap lunch. The staff are friendly and checked up on my friend and I frequently. It's pretty empty when it first opens, so food comes out quickly. read more

I will NEVER be going to Applebees ever, ever again. I received the worst ever service twice in a row! I came back a second time, because I thought the first time was just a fluke and we received a bad waitress. The second time was worse. I ordered a shrimp steak. I received a burnt pile of shit as a steak with a couple pieces of rotten lettuce which was missing the shrimp. The waitress was awful to boot. read more

Earlier today, I went to Applebee's (near Highway 99 and Circle Blvd) to grab some lunch with some friends. My overall experience was alright. There are some great aspects to the restaurant. The pricing can range from in the $9 area to $20, depending on what the person orders. So there's a good range on the prices. Another good aspect about the restaurant is that there is a good selection of what to order. They have variety of entrees and main dishes, sandwiches, salads, lunch combos, burgers, deserts, and beverages. Another unique part of their menu is the 2 for $20 deal. With the two for twenty deal, the customer can share with another person. Today, I decided to go with this. I shared it with one of my friends. We went with two Cesar side salads and for my entree, I selected the three-cheese chicken penne. The dish mostly consists of the pasta with grilled chicken, fresh tomatoes with Alfredo sauce and a bread stick. The Cesar salad was a little bit too drenched in the dressing. The three-cheese chicken penne was not too bad. The tomatoes tasted fresh. The only issues I had with the entree was how the chicken was a little bit dry and with the tomatoes, it felt as if the Alfredo sauce was a little bit watered down. The good thing was that the food was not undercooked nor was it cold. One unique aspect to the restaurant is this new tablet that they have on every table. The server explained to us that if the restaurant is every busy and the customer needs something, they can call the waitress with the touch of a button or if the customer wants to pay their meal, they can pay from the tablet. Some things that were alright was the wait time. The restaurant was not packed, so it took a little bit of time, but not too long. What surprised me was with the salads it took a little bit of time to get it because I received my salad and then a couple of minutes later, my entree arrived, so there wasn't really a little break in between. Overall, I think the food was not too bad. If the Alfredo sauce was less watery and if the salad was not overly drenched with the dressing, then I would have had a great experience. Wow. It was an hour before we got our food, and the place wasn't even busy. And then one person in our party had to wait an extra 10 minutes for her dinner because "we screwed up some steaks." Several of us received overdone food; my burger was like a charcoal briquette around the edges. The matriarch of our party had stern words with the manager; all we got for this is that the 12-year-old birthday girl got a tiny free sundae (gee, thanks), and the friend with the late-breaking steak got her meal free. Yesterday after church, we were invited to go out for lunch by some friends of ours... and they chose Applebees. I have been to Applebees a few times and have never really been impressed; after yesterday, I will never go back. My husband and I did the 2 for $20 deal ~ we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for our appetizer; the cheese on top was totally burned and the flavor was certainly nothing to write home about, but there was plenty. My husband ordered the Fire Pit Bacon Burger; he thought the burger was "okay", however, he didn't care much for the smothering of the Smoky Chipotle Spread. I ordered the 7 oz. House Sirloin, cooked medium well, with seasonal veggies and a baked potato. The steak was cooked to order, however, it was very fatty and again, I was not impressed with the flavor; I think they must have coated my steak with a steak sauce while it was on the grill. The "seasonal" veggies turned out to be bitter, slime coated, over seasoned and over cooked broccoli florets. The best item on my plate was the baked potato ~ served with too much butter and not enough sour cream. On a side note, the people sitting in back of us had the manager called out. I noticed there was something wrong after she called for the waiter to take back her plate. After he brought her plate back, she again called the waiter over due to a hair in her food. Finally the manager was brought out and he apologized for everything, tried to make amends and bring her something else, however, they left and I don't think will be returning. Between my poor food experience with Applebees and the woman with hair in her food, I will Not be returning to Applebees! Like my rating indicates...Eek! Methinks not!!! read more

My boyfriend took me to Applebee's tonight because I'd never been there before. We ordered boneless chicken wings as an appetizer which were completely raw in the middle; I only discovered this because I was having trouble chewing it. GROSS. We should have just walked out right then and there. However, we stuck around and waited for our burgers, one of which was way, waaaaay undercooked. Again, GROSS. The server was moderately apologetic and the manager was slightly less so. All they did was not charge us for the appetizer and took 25% off the rest of the bill. We will NEVER eat there again, and I plan on telling everyone I possibly can about this disgusting experience! read more

Super yummy! Steak cooked perfectly to order. Broccoli tender and not over/under cooked. This Applebee's is a huge improvement over the sad excuse they have in Beaverton! I will definitely come back to this location. Manager was exceptionally nice and kept things running smoothly. read more

I went with 3 friends for Dinner recently and the service was AWFUL! It took 45 minutes just to get our fountain drinks and it was a longer wait for our food, which was served cold! plus we've noticed that a server wasn't kind to the server in training. However, I would recommend the Applebee's in Albany or up north, they're much better on service and food is actually warm when it gets served. read more

Ice All melted when he got it, should have brought another glass of ice. needed more ice but server did not come back for long time. By then too late he just settled. Ordered one meal to share, steak and shrimp. Took 1/2 hour to get, steak was supposed to be med. well and it was still bleeding. Took so long to get we ate part of it. I was dining in this establishment with my wife one afternoon for lunch. Everything was all fine and dandy until we received our meals. I had ordered a sandwich and my wife ordered a salad. Upon taking the first bit, I noticed that there was something hard in the sandwich. Thinking that it might have been a hard grain in the bread, I proceeded to take another bit. This time there was an even bigger hard object. Upon spitting that bit out due the fact that it felt that I had broken a tooth, I discovered that it was bits of a broken plate. Now, being a cook, how do you fail to notice something like that. The explanation that I received was that a plate had fallen onto the flat top and shattered. My question is why would you not through the food out, clean up the mess and start over. Makes me think, what else goes on back there. read more

Absolutely unacceptable, went there with my friends and my homecoming date before home coming. We ordered our food with a little over an hour until we had to leave. We ended up leaving without our food. It was unacceptable. There were multiple tables who showed up later and got their food before us. They can expect to not see me there ever again read more

Service was incredibly slow and they were not busy. Oriental chicken salad had raw chicken in it. Waiter took to back, but when asked by manager how our meal was, he argued that chicken could be raw. Waiter returned and said both he and cook believed it was raw. Manager took check, ran credit card for full price and never offered to comp even a portion of the meal. Previous visit included a burger with a bread tie in it. This place is horrible. read more

This particular Applebee's is always great when we go. The service is wonderful and friendly, they never mess up orders and they are fast too! The best part is the manager Jeff Franzola. We always see him around the restaurant whether it's lunch or dinner time. He is very committed to serving his guests and always makes his way to your table. It is overall an enjoyable place to dine. read more

Usually pretty good, with good service. Generally can get in without delay. Gets heavy dose of foreign OSU students which tend to slow down service to all, as they want individual checks, expect happy hour prices at all hours, and want things done special for them. Not a criticism of staff though...they do their best to endure and provide good service to all. Tuesday nights get noisy during trivia night...and bar gets crowded. read more
