I don't really like Applebee's. I ordered one of the menu identified lower calorie options (some kind of lemon chicken), because I've read about how overloaded the calories can be at Applebee's ln dishes that you wouldn't expect. I shouldn't have been surprised that the salad that I ordered with my entree came covered in cheese. Everything that I ate here that was cooked looked as if it was microwaved. The little electronic thing on the table that you can use to play games, pay your bill, or call over the server charged me $1.99 to play games. I was told that I was asked if I would accept the charges before playing the games, but I didn't see anything like that. I was annoyed by this, I wouldn't buy a junky trivia app on my phone for $1.99, and if I would, I'd be able to use it for the rest of my phone's life. The machine was there, so I messed around with it, I think it is nickel and dime bullshit that it is so easy to accidentally purchase something on those machines. We went here when inside dining opened, first we had a party of 7, they sat us apart, trying to keep with the government standards due to the coronavirus, but it clearly states parties of 8 can be together! Then it took 30 minutes to take our drink orders, then another 30 minutes to take our food order, then another 30 minutes to get our food. In the time waiting the waitress dropped a whole glass of water on the table & the glass shattered! The food was subpar, the service was terrible! Really good burger. I had the Bourbon Black and Bleu. It was cooked like I wanted and very tasty. I gave them 3 stars for the wait. We had a big party - 4 adults and 5 kids - and it took over an hour to get our food. Shouldn't have taken that long, regardless of how many people were at our table. read more

Okay, we were off to a bad start. Party of 9 (4 adults & 5 kids ages 8-12). It wasn't packed ( but we were packed in a kind of wrap around booth). We were there an hour before our food was served. The waitress kept up with drink refills and apologies. 5-stars for her! When the food finally arrived it was hot and impressive in both taste and presentation. The burgers were mile-high with toppings, and the kids meals satisfied our big kids. I would say worth the wait but that wait was way too long with no visit from the management. Waitress Nicole made a mistake and gave me the wrong check. I paid the wrong check and then she said I gave you the wrong check. She credited my account but it was a debit card which put a hold on my money and then recharged me for my bill. As a result my money wasn't available when I left the store. I was told they needed my my bill so they could give a discount to an off employee who's check I paid. The manager nor Nicole the waitress made any allowances for my inconvenience and I left the restaurant with $80.00 taken from my account instead of $40.00. Nicole and the manager were unsympathetic to my inconvenience from their mistakes. I will never go back to that Applebees. It is now 5 hours later and my money from Nicole's mistake is still not available. I actually drove 40 minutes to meet a friend at that Applebees. I'm still angry by the entire experience which was supposed to be a pleasant experience ended up being a disappointment and a loss of an additional $40.00 for the night. read more

My girlfriend and I went to this Applebees location since it was close by. They had a DJ this particular night, it was a Thursday and we wanted their drink of the month. We asked the manger for seating for 4, another party came after us and requested the same and were immediately seated. We thought maybe they were there before and came back. We were seated 15 minutes later and placed our order shortly there after. Our order came to us an hour and a half late, cold and above all wrong! We signaled to The manager who was at the table across we wanted to see her when She was done at that table. She shouted wait walked away and came back with a terrible attitude. We expressed our concerns and she indicated she would get right on it. We asked that our cocktails have sugar on the rim of the glass and the bar tender refused to adhere to our request, the paying customer. The manger returned 45 minutes later and we again expressed our concerns. Needless to say I will never go back. The manger was rude and wouldn't try to help at all. I almost have to wonder if it was race related or are they just terrible at their job in general. If I could, I wouldn't give them any stars. #WorstExperienceEver. read more

I have come to this location many times and never had any issues. But today at 4pm I decided to order online and pick it up from inside. When completing the order and paying online it said it would be ready at 4:20 pm. I arrived at 4:20 on the dot. When going inside the host at the front told me that my food was not ready. I gave her my name 4-6 different times and she kept calling me an incorrect name and saying my food was not ready. I sat inside for 30 minutes waiting for my food which was done the whole time. I had to pull up my order info from the email and show it to her and then she decides to let me know that it was done this whole time. So now my food is COLD and soggy. I will never come back for the simple fact that the host couldn't even do her job right and gave me an attitude the whole time. It wasn't even busy. I'm very angry. talk about skimping! had the chicken and shrimp dish which was great btw but there were almost no mushrooms and onions. the server said... they're under the chicken. so I looked and saw a tiny bit of onions. someone (manager?) brought over some more and the dish was great. but the $10.50 "patron" margarita had absolutely NO alcohol in it. service wasn't great either. not going to this location again. read more

I love applebee's it's always my go to restaurant when we can't decide where to go. the food is good but i went last night (july 19) and i was very disappointed with the service. I had a waiter named tom and he took at least 15 minutes to come back and take our order. when we finished our appetizers and got out main meal (he was never the one to bring us our food) he left the table cluttered with used dishes. he didn't ask us if we wanted anything else with our meal and never refilled drinks. we felt very rushed and uncomfortable. I try to be understanding because i know being a waiter is hard but he just wasn't friendly at all. maybe i caught him on an off night. very disappointed :( read more

The food is ok. It's a chain restaurant so it's on par with others like it. My issue is the service. There are two bartenders who are spending all of their time with one customer who appears to be a regular. They appear to dirge bare minimum. There has been a pile of dirty dishes sitting in front of us for 20 minutes. And the bar is a mess. These two need to be trained or fired. read more

Worst Customer Service!!! from the waitress Jamie K. This was my family's first time going out for dinner since the March 11, 2019. We loved this Applesbee's and visit very often before the Pandemic. They were always patient with my son who is Autistic who needs extra time to order sometimes. The waitress seem to get frustrated with my brother in law when asked about the happy hour specials and the attitude & contradicting under tones began. If you're having a bad I get it we all have them but to present that frustration to a family is ridiculous. The table across from us interrupted us discussing this & acknowledged her behavior towards us as well. As a Registered Nurse on Medical Surgical Unit who is for a local hospital 6 months pregnant, I understand we are ALL frustrated with our working environment. I work 40+ hours a week working under duress with these COVID-19 conditions. Myself personally, I leave my problems at the door to provide customer service to my career I love that provides for my family but everyone is different. I believe she wanted to get fired because after speaking to the Manager Mike Arroyo the waitress still came to our table throwing our receipt down on table with children presented and in the most smug way told us to have a "great day."The manager observed the behavior of Jamie K. and gave us a discount. He did apologize for the service and was very kind as we asked for out food to go. This was very sad and I truly don't understand the attitude but hey we are human. My kids are done with Applebee's and I think our family will be as well. So sad, we had great times & memories. Please excuse my grammar I'm upset. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The service was AWFUL and the staff even worse. We came in with a diverse group and honestly felt like we were in the deep south. We were given the odd stares and the service was non-existent. We have been to many Applebee's restaurants before and while no one should expect five star service as it is not a five star establishment, patrons should be treated with respect. It's a shame but I am always disappointed when I dine at any Applebee's location. At my last visit I had the chicken and shrimp that was part of the 2 for $20. The chicken and shrimp was so overly salted and seasoned as well as the potatoes that it was inedible. Every time I eat there I find their food to be way over salted and seasoned or over cooked making it too charred and dry to eat. I heard they are closing 100+ stores, my advice is they should focus more on fresh tasting and cooked food. I've been to Applebee's many times, it has always a pleasant experience. But due my recent order on grub hub from Applebee's, the way I feel about the restaurant has shifted. My daughter is allergic to bacon, although her reaction after ingesting bacon it is mild she does get hives. On grub hub I ordered two baked potato soups. While processing said order I specifically listed "no bacon in one cup". When I received my grub hub order there was one soup with visible bacon on the top, that was mine, the one with bacon. I then gave my daughter her soup and she proceeded to eat it. I was appalled when she pointed out the fact that she found bacon hidden in the bottom of her soup. This kind of behavior from a multimillion dollar company is totally uncalled for and irresponsible . If my daughter would have happened to eat the entire soup I don't know what would have happened to her tonight. Due to this horrific experience, I will never be ordering from Applebee's again. read more

Went there at 6:30 on a Friday night with my wife and child. Was seated right away. Our server's name was Lacie and she was very good. I ordered steak and my wife ordered a bourbon chicken dish with mashed sweet potato side. Everything was very good and we got both meals and an appetizer for $25. We left very pleased and will definitely go back again. I use to not think too much of Applebee's but they have definitely improved a lot. I went here for lunch and I was very disappointed in everything. My seating was terrible along with wait staff who seemed to care more about their phones than their jobs. While me and my friend were stuck sitting there at a table that seemed in the middle of nowhere, two bus boys came up to the table next to me and began to talk about how the people that were there wasted their food and began to sit at the table and talk to each other instead of doing their job. If they actually did their jobs then my table that I was seated at may have not been so sticky. The only thing that took longer than getting a waiter/waitress to notice me and my friend was the wait for the food itself. The prices there are outrageous as well. The prices are so high for such mediocre food. For me and my friend who got one app and two very entrees ended up costing us over $40! It was ridiculous. I have been coming to this Applebee's for years because I really enjoy the Applebee's menu, the half-apps option after 9 in particular. Went with a friend who just moved to the area last weekend because she has never been to an Applebee's before and have never been treated so rudely by a server before. I understand Applebee's wants everyone ordering the half-apps to buy a drink, but we only desired water and did not want to be wasteful by ordering beverages we were not going to drink. For that reason, I ordered a drink and then ordered the appetizers so they could be half off for my party while my two friends with me received waters. The moment we did this, our waitress flipped a switch and started treating us so rudely. She messed up our order, brought the plates to the table and would not say anything to us, she just stood there staring at us until we moved everything on our table around to make room for the food she was carrying. She constantly rolled her eyes at us when we spoke to her and just gave us a check without asking if we needed anything else. I understand that this is only one server, but it is still a poor reflection on Applebee's. The fact that they hired one person like this, means they could have hired more rude, like-minded servers. Was excited to take my friend that just moved here to my local Applebee's and saddened by the fact that she had a very poor first experience. Giving it two stars though because 1) we were seated in a timely manner and 2) the poor wait staff does not reflect the tasty food.
