I'd been hearing good things about Dominic's Tavern for a couple of years and honestly feel dumb for waiting this long to check it out. This place is exactly what a neighborhood bar should be--bright, welcoming, and full of regulars without making a first-timer feel like an outsider. Huge credit to Maddie behind the bar. Once she realized it was my first visit, she introduced me to the people around me, which led to me staying two hours instead of the quick lunch I planned. Ended up talking with a guy next to me and discovered we had a bunch of mutual connections. Just one of those unexpectedly great afternoons. Now, full disclosure: I'm a serious wing guy. My parents owned a wing restaurant for nearly 20 years, and I even had my own wing sauce company, so yes, I judge wings hard. Small ding for serving half wings instead of full wings, but the sauce was excellent--like an upgraded version of classic Hooters sauce, minus the grease. The atmosphere and service were great, and the bar was really busy when I visited. I ordered the avocado chicken wrap but asked for it as a sandwich with tater tots. The sandwich was okay, though a bit bland, and unfortunately, both the sandwich and tots were cold. I also ordered a seasonal drink that was supposed to be pumpkin spice, but it didn't taste like pumpkin at all. I did visit on Halloween, so I understand it was a very busy night. My son lives in Bellmawr and when we come to visit we like going to Dominic's. It's a wonderful atmosphere and good food. On more than one occasion we had Alex as our server. It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. We were four adults and a toddler and an infant out for a Monday night of pasta and burgers. We adults and children throughly enjoyed the two giant Santa Claus costumed mice who roamed the dining area during happy hour (the best of times). The food, however, was average and the food service was lacking (the worst of times). The smashed burgers were a big disappointment, nothing "smashed" about them, just two regular sized stacked paddies and none of the burgers were cooked to our orders. The pasta special and big daddy cheese steak were ok. Some of the beer prices didn't seem to match the menu prices. All the servers were cutely attired as Ms. Claus, but ours appeared to the most forgetful of the crew in bringing the orders, even forgetting to bring a second helping the of all you can eat pasta special until we were ready to leave. The building is huge with the entrance and parking in the rear of the building. Railings on the steps help getting up the stairs, but there appeared to be only one HC parking space...maybe more, but was too dark in the lot to tell. read more

Dominic's has come to the rescue on more than one occasion when we attended a nearby event or a food-challenged party and needed to grab a late dinner afterward. An open kitchen until 11:00 PM is a blessing! Last night I enjoyed an order of mussels with red sauce. They were delicious and the order was huge! Now I understand the hype. My dining counterparts enjoyed their burger, chicken cutlet sandwich, and wings (as per). I don't eat wings, but I have heard from countless locals that Dominic's wings are the best in the area (the hot honey especially). They also have a machine that cranks out fresh popcorn all night. I am probably the only person in the US who doesn't like popcorn, but my husband always helps himself to a bowl (or three) when we're there. No wings and no popcorn...who let me out, anyway?? Dom's continues to be a Bellmawr institution despite new local ownership. They're still famous for wings and offer an amazing menu. An order of jumbo wings in their signature Fat Daddy sauce is always placed to share and I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp Quesadilla (a recently new favorite of mine). The Bang Bang Shrimp Quesadilla was sweet and savory that's served with a side of Ranch. If you're looking to get a great meal while also having a beer, Dom's is definitely worth a visit. Fav spot for wings, hands down! The house fat daddy sauce is creamy with a hint of spice. It's the perfect compliment to the jumbo wings. The service is prompt and friendly and the food comes out quick! We were in there on a Friday evening game night and our wings were still out in under 10 minutes. There are plenty of bar seats, high tops, low tops, and I think they have a couple booths. There's also an outdoor bar and smoking area. Came here on a little bar hopping with my girlfriend and heard about the wings being very good. Lots of meat on the bone and pretty spicy. Little bit of sweetness on top with blue cheese on the side. Very good wings but PJ's might be slightly better Gives off sports bar vibes as soon as you enter the place with a huge 15-20 person wrap around bar that we sat at. Came for the wings and this place did not disappoint! A typical sports bar and really good food! For the wings, we got the fat daddy sauce and man did they definitely NOT skimp on the size of these jumbo wings! Nice and crispy, lots of meat and great flavors with the sauce. We recently heard about this tavern thru my daughter and her fiancé . They live close and go there frequently. My wife and I decided to have lunch with them during the week. On the outside it has a corner bar vibe which I like .The inside is really nice with a large bar and lots of tables. They have a nice selection of drinks and food. I hadn't been to Dominic's in about 15 years, which was for an impromptu high school reunion. Prior to that, my girlfriends and I used to come here to hang out, get a few drinks, meet guys, and dance on their tiny dance floor! It seemed like a fight would inevitably always break out! My husband and I have been going to Dominic's every Friday for date night for two years. Specifically because of the trivia. We even have another couple we meet up with there. We really enjoy coming here and sitting at a high top table at the bar. The service is friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Disappointing. Since Dom's has changed hands the food has gone down in quality. I ordered bang bang shrimp and received small salad shrimp battered and covered in sweet chili sauce. Not worth $15. Onion rings were not hand made but frozen maybe 8-10 on the plate for $10. Boneless hot garlic wings that were over breaded and had chunks of raw garlic on top. The atmosphere has also changed. It was always upbeat, now you can feel tension in the air. There were at least 8 dirty tables when we walked in at 2pm. I hope they improve things. I don't see them staying around long if they don't. Articles about the best wings in Jersey often mention Dominic's when the latitudes shift south. And casually asking around usually leads to someone suggesting Dominic's. The wings are big and dredged in a coating (NOT breadcrumbs); if you like small and/or naked fried wings, these are not your wings. But they are indeed excellent. I go for the 911 sauce, which is a vinegary inferno for you tongue. The Fat Daddy sauce is unique, with bleu cheese and vinegar mixed in with buffalo sauce (not my choice but other diners in my squad love it). My future-chef son goes for the hot and honey, which is also good. Service is super fast here, and always friendly (it's often packed). Free popcorn while you wait is a nice touch, too. There's always a Tonewood beer in tap, since it's right down the road. The craft beer selections skew towards IPAs, but lately I've noticed some other styles. We love this joint for a late Saturday lunch. It's a bar, so it's kinda noisy and there is often live entertainment, so if a quiet ambient spot is what you're looking for, Dominic's ain't it. Dominic's Tavern is located about a quarter mile off of the Black Horse Pike in Bellmawr, NJ. Some friends of my mom is what ultimately brought us to this location during our visit in NJ. There is a good amount of parking available. My visit here was on September 24, 2019. Once we came inside, the place definitely looks like your typical bar or pub. My mom saw her friends over in a corner booth and headed over there to meet up with them. After getting seated, it took a little while for our server to come back over, but was understandable since she was basically doing all the tables in the place except for the bar itself. Once she came over, she greeted us at the table and asked for our drink orders. When the drinks came back, she brought additional menus for us since we came in a few minutes later than the rest of the group. The menu overall is your typical bar type menu. Apparently, this place is known for their wings. After a little bit of time, she came back over and asked if we were ready to order. We were and I went with the Fried Butterfly Shrimp Seafood Platter. My mom went with the cheese quesadilla with peppers and onions. About 10 minutes or so after ordering, our orders came to the table. The food was hot when it came out. The server let me know up front that I was missing a shrimp and that it would be brought over once ready. When she eventually came back to refill drinks, I asked about the other shrimp and then she said it should be ready and would bring it over. Within a minute or so, she was back with the additional shrimp. The shrimp were good and hot, along with the fries. My mom liked the quesadilla as well. Overall, this was a good experience. I am not one that normally does bars or pubs. The service was good and the food was as well. Like I noted above, it was a typical bar like experience with a bar menu. If you are looking for a bar in the area, this place is still worth checking out. read more

Every year me and some buddies from work stop by around Christmas time and have lunch. It's about 45 mins from where we live so it's not local for us but the drive is worth it. I've had their wings which are very good, though I'm not a fan of their honey BBQ sauce, I don't know what it is but it's got an odd taste for me so I stick to the medium. Their cheese steaks are also good which is my back up . The service is really good never having to wait a long time for our food .
