I did not enjoy this restaurant. Me and my son went in at exactly 9 p.m. to eat there we did not get our table until 9:50 that would have not been a problem had it not been the people who came just behind us checked in right after us got a table and were sitted and had appetizers. The people who are supposed to sign me and my son in for our table did not try to make the matters better but got an attitude with me when I repeated the problem to both ladies who were supposed to sign us in. Then later claimed they did not sign us in. We made our complaint to the manager and he was apologetic to us but did not make any attempt to compensate our drinks or something for us. The waitress was nice but brought was old fries that tasted reheated and my son, who loves pizza, did not take but one bite of it. I told the waitress the problem and she appologized and did not try to give us a discount mind you I did not touch my fries and my son did not touch his meal but for that one bite. I hope no one else has this issue. read more

While the food wasn't spectacular, the service was exceptional. The food was decent, but the slightly burnt edges of the chicken in my pasta kept it from being great. The server and assistant manager were exceedingly nice and helpful. The service was good enough to make me consider returning for a second attempt. read more

No stars. Hands down worst restaurant in Dublin. 5 to 10 mins wait with at least 20 people already ahead of us and a steady amount coming in the door behind us. We were a party of 2 and there was a party of 6 and party of 4 before us and then a few smaller parties. We waited 20 minutes before we decided to walk out after only one party of 2 was seated while we were there. Before we left I counted 12 tables 12 tables including the big booth made for large parties, that were empty. Sad management!! read more

This is a typical Applebee's. The food was ok, no wow moments and our server kept the drinks full. My wife did ask for some crushed red peppers to go with her chicken pasta and they took crushed red pepper for roasted red peppers. When we got the bill they decided to charge us $.99 for their goof. After a brief conversation the waitress fixed the bill. I will try other restaurants before I go back. read more

I will never again waste money at this sorry excuse for a restaurant. First of all, our waitress was a snooty idiot who took her sweet time getting and delivering our drink orders. Secondly, when we wanted to know about an appetizer he quickly informed us to wait until she came back. She was at the empty booth right in front of us gathering a few glasses! Apparently she can't pick up a glass and answer a question at the same time. Lastly, our order was wrong! They were not busy. In fact, they were not even steady until we got ready to leave. I politely informed our waitress that my niece had ordered a burger that came with extra bacon and a special BBQ ranch sauce. She returned a few minutes later with the sauce but told my niece that she was wrong and needed to pay more attention. She then smirked at her and walked away. At that point she was so upset that she would not even eat. I saw her order on the menu. She was right and THEY were wrong. Plus, My pasta dish was so dry and bland that I couldn't eat it. Mom and I ordered desert. I had the blue ribbon brownie and she had the apple chimi cheesecake. Her order had been cooked so long that it was hard to cut through. The experience was horrible. Not only did they not offer a discount or even remove my niece's order from the ticket but the waitress came over and stood silently at our table while we got ready to leave. What a jerk! Do not waste your time or money at the Dublin Applebees. You will be sorely disappointed. Do I have anything nice to say about them at all? Yes, the spinach dip was awesome! read more

I used the carside to go service. I called ahead and still had to wait for over 40 minutes. The server said that they had given my hamburger to someone else by mistake and had to cook another. That explains why all the food was cold except the hamburger. The appetizer chips had been overcooked and I received the wrong steak. I did not catch this mistake because two items on the menu have similar names. The manager did bring out my order since I waited so long and apologized stating that they had to wait on the spinach to cook. I questioned her saying I did not order anything with spinach. She said it came with the steak. -That should have been my sign I did not have the correct one. On the bright side the server did offer me a complimentary drink. read more

I've stopped coming to Applebees for a long time due to the changes in menu. However, since I heard about the happy hour. My family and I decided to try it out for Christmas Eve. The experience was downhill as soon as we arrived. We walked in and the host was no where to be found with the line of customers waiting to put there names on the wait list. Once the host showed up his attitude was brash and rude. We could easily tell at this point the restaurant was either short staffed or not well managed. The host was ordering waiters to clear tables but again his attitude made the situation worse and was not a good look for the restaurant. The a waitress at one point asked him to not snap at her. A waitress came up and asked to get in the office so she could clock out. The host said, "you can't stay any later?". She paused and said yeah, I can help out. The host then continued to tell walk in customers the the wait would be 25 to 30 minutes in a tone that made me even feel like I was being inconvenient. The wait wasn't actually 25 minutes so I thought our night was looking up. Boy was I wrong. We sat and waited 20 minutes before the host came over and took our drink, we had not seen our waitress at all. There were also many tables filled with dirty dishes. The service did not improve for our entire stay. We sat at our table for over an hour. This was not by choice but by us wanted to leave with full stomachs and not empty ones. Thank goodness for those pads on the table so we could pay without our waitress, because she had disappeared once again. The whole experience was terrible and further convinced my whole group that it was not worth our time or money again. read more

I am from Gwinett. I visited Apple Bee's this past weekend with a group of three. The service was very poor. The drinks tasted water down, the appetizer & entree' came out together. First, I will go ahead and say that the waitress' name was Tammy but she had "Tam" written on her nametag. Service was okay throughout our meal until she wanted to refill our drinks. Instead of bringing an entirely new drink like she was supposed to do each time, she brought some more drink in a kid cup and poured it into our previous cup. Then, she and the hostess decided it was okay for them to sit in the booth next to us and chat. If you want to relax, don't do it right beside a customer. Then, once we ate and paid, before we left we saw that since "tam" didn't ask us if we wanted a gift card, we were supposed to get a free order of mozzarella sticks. I told the nearest hostess that we wanted the mozzarella sticks but not if the waitress has to pay out of pocket. The waitress decided to speak loudly (from the booth beside us) "Do yall wanna buy a gift card then?" We informed her it was too late for her to ask now. She decided to have an attitude and say "WELL ACTUALLY I HAVE UNTIL YALL WALK OUT THE DOOR." Which that is untrue. They asked if we wanted to speak to a manager and we said no. Then, while we are continuing our conversation with the people at my table, "Tam" decided it was okay to literally put her rude opinion in on my conversation while she was sitting at the table behind us. I cannot believe that we were treated this way. We called and talked to a manager and the manager basically that we should have talked to a manager when it happened.
