We've visited this location twice now, hoping for a better experience the second time, but unfortunately, it fell short again. The service was disappointing, especially from Tiffany, who seemed focused only on customers she regularly interacts with rather than providing equal attention to everyone. As returning customers, we expected a more welcoming and attentive experience. When I mentioned that my drink didn't taste right--it was more like Kool-Aid than what I ordered--there was little to no effort made to address the issue. Customer service is a big part of the overall experience, and when that's lacking, it really stands out. At the very least, if the service isn't great, the drinks should be consistent and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I've had better experiences elsewhere. We set it in the bar and I tell you, Chris and Tiffany are probably the two worst. We hadn't been to Applebee's in quite a while. We went on Friday night and not many people there so got seated right away, The serves we go was not the best. We ordered the choose three appetizers for our meal and one appetizer for the 99 cents deal. It took a long time for the food to arrive and when it did the sauces were on the wrong app plates and one of the three appetizers was wrong and had to be reordered which took even longer to arrive. The boneless chicken wings were hard as rocks, all the breading was the dominant flavor, if there were any flavor - bland describes the food accurately. Oh, the discounted appetizers arrived just as the manager I called for arrived at our table. Did the wait person forget to order it or do apps normally arrive after the entrees? What a disappointing experience all around. It was so bad the manager just wrote our meals off and said she hoped we would come back again. Not a chance. How is Applebee's still in business? The urinal has been broken for over a week. If you cannot afford to make this repair, then what else is being neglected? Are they making short cuts on the health and cleanliness in the kitchen also? The bathrooms are always an issue here, dirty and always out of paper towels. If we can't wash our hands, then the staff isn't going to be able either. Looks like my original review got deleted! I'll try again..... About the worst dining experience I have ever had. I have eaten here in years past and it was ok. But ate there again a day or two before New Years and the service was VERY, VERY slow despite not being too very busy (it was a Tuesday night). It took about an hour to get our steak dinners served and when they arrived, mine was very rare when it should have been medium well. My lady's 'steamed' broccoli was completely raw. Hardly any refills on tea. I typically order my tea unsweetened (I avoid sugar when I can), but then sweeten with artificial sweetener. NO sweeteners on ANY tables. When asked, it took about 15 minutes before the server finally brought any. At some point I had to make a bathroom visit and as I approached the Men's room door, the aroma of the men's room greeted me before I even opened the door. Water on the floor in the men's room in several places and it was just plain smelly and dirty. The waiter DID what he could a couple of times to 'make up' for the slowness of the meals (a plate of fries), but the overall lack of seeming organization and the running of the place was outside of his particular control. A very, very disappointing experience and I will no doubt NEVER eat again at this location and probably never again at ANY Applebees location. They need to shut this location down, clean house (physically and staff) and start over. Locations like this are ruining Applebees corporate image. read more

I was pleasantly surprised at what a great experience I had. It's been a long time since I ate at an Applebees; they did a great job. Seating was quick in the busy dining room. Everything ordered came out fresh and within a reasonable time. The breadstick that was included in with my penne was surprisingly better than any I've had at Olive Garden. I've been to many Applebee's. They are all good restaurants with good food. I've only ran into one thing I hated, a honey chicken that they had as a special, it was terrible. The reason I went (yes, I used the past tense) to Applebee's is that they had a kids night. Me and the wife have a nice meal and my kids eat for a buck. Can't beat that. We love kid's nights. If you are running one as a restaurant you will see me there with my munchkins. I'm not made out of money and it a easy excuse not to cook. They have taken away my dear kid's nights and for that I will only return rarely. There are better steak house I can attend if I'm just going out to eat with my wife. Don not get me wrong, they serve good food. I won't knock it, except that dreadful honey chicken. But there are a lot of food choices in the CSRA and I'd rather try something new if I'm not getting a deal. read more

The food was good but the service was awful. When you pay over $5.00 for two iced teas you would think your server would give you at least one refill. I always tip 20%, but she received 10% for poor service. The bartender got me a refill after I got up and asked her if she would. The bartender was very accommodating. read more

Was visiting Augusta from out of town with a couple of friends. We came for dinner & had the worst customer service. Our server was Josie and she was extremely rude and impatient. It was most of our first times at Applebee's, so we didn't know what to get. Josie never smiled or showed any good customer service. Her vibe was very hostile and we could tell she became aggravated easily. Had the all you can eat ribs with a small portion of slaw and seasoned fries for $12.99. These are rib tips not full spareribs and as you are offered more "ribs" the portions get smaller and smaller but the fries portions get bigger and bigger( of course as the rocket scientist that i am it's to fill you up so you don't ask for more ribs). Service was very good and our wait time for a table was less than 30 seconds. My husband and I took our sister out to lunch here for her birthday and the experience was better than okay, but not perfect. We had a wonderful server, her name was Brittany and she excelled in providing us with good customer service. Well, our food came out and it was all correct except that there was some things added that we asked to be taken off. Which of course is a fault in the kitchen, I serve tables too so I understand what it's like to have cooks who don't pay attention to the ticket.
